We came here for snacks after getting happy hour nearby. Breaktime was clean and not very crowded on a Friday night, and it didn't take long for our orders to get prepared. We got the spicy popcorn chicken, lobster balls, and mozzarella cheese sticks. All the snacks were freshly fried/cooked and were nice and crispy. Each snack came with a sauce, but I have to say that the sweet and chili sauce that came with the popcorn chicken was the best. The spicy powder that topped the popcorn chicken also added a bit of a kick - we asked the staff for more spicy powder, and they were nice to give us a little container of it to top the other two snacks. All in all, this is a nice place to get reasonably priced Asian snacks in Campbell. I'm curious to try their milk teas in the future. read more

Ahh this was my second time trying this place. My first time, it didn't stand out to me and I never went back. I decided to give it another shot because I needed a caffeine boost and it was the closet thing to me. I ordered the tutti fruit-tea and the matcha Swiss roll cake. Upon getting my stuff, I noticed the Swiss roll had an odd color to it. Upon further inspection, I realized that it was completely covered in mold. I asked for a refund which was an easy process. I would maybe suggest that they start labeling each container of best by dates so this wont happen again. For the drink, I would give it a 3/5. I had higher expectations because they had so many great reviews since the last time I came in. The drink was a little bland and maybe over steeped. 7/11/21 I was craving something sweet after dinner, so I looked up a boba shop closest to where we were for dinner and Breaktime Tea popped up on my yelp search. It was only a 5 minute drive over and we found parking easily. There was no one in line, and there was only one person there on their computer. Here's what I got: 1. Hong Kong style egg waffle chocolate flavor 2. Royal rose green tea with boba I waited about 5 minutes or so before my order was ready. I was quite disappointed by the egg waffle because they only put like a pinchful of chocolate chips in 3-5 of the puffs? I expected the entire waffle to be made of chocolate batter. Throwing a few pieces of chocolate chips into a plain/vanilla batter does not make it "chocolate flavor". The Royal Rose Green Tea tasted nice, but at the same time, it tasted like it had been watered down. It was fragrant to say the least, but it definitely could have been better. The boba was a bit hard and more chewy than usual as well. So overall, these items did at least satisfy my sweettooth craving, but I'm not too sure if I would return. read more

Not a destination boba shop, but does the job if you're in the neighborhood. They have the menu lit up above the counter, but the font and small text made it difficult to read- I ended up just looking up the menu on yelp. I got the Butterfly Lemonade which had a beautiful purple/red color from the butterfly pea tea. The lemonade was good, not a lot of flavor coming from the butterfly pea tea, but was a refreshing drink overall. My boyfriend got the passionfruit green tea which does not come with passion seeds (sad) and uses passionfruit syrup to flavor the drink. The drinks were really sweet, even after asking for less sweetness. They don't really have anything lower other than "no sugar added" which may be a risky choice as well... This was my first time here and I was surprised to see this boba spot in Campbell. They had a bunch of options for toppings, as well as some delicious smelling snacks. I was really surprised to see the egg waffles and love the added ice cream you could get on an egg waffle almost like a giant waffle cone! Service was really quick and fast since there were a couple people in line ahead of me, and the lady even offered me a bag to carry my drinks in. there aren't too many spots for seating and the menu is kind of located in the seating area but everybody was really nice and cordial and it's a nice easy flow once you walk into the store. I was at Campbell Park nearby and made a stop here to pick up a little treat. I got a chocolate chip egg waffles and a classic milk tea. I was a little turned off by the girl up front who seemed curt when I placed the order. There were quite a few folks waiting, so was probably a little overwhelmed which is understandable. She did seem friendlier when I picked up my food after the line dissipated. The tea and the waffles were great. I like their system too. The sweetness is pretty low considering it's regular, so extra sugar is recommended if you want the normal . The interior is subtle and classy. Music is moderate not too loud. Came to check out the new boba place that opened in downtown Campbell because I HAD to see if it was any good! I got the classic milk tea because that's generally how I gauge a boba shop's "authenticity". If they nail the classic milk tea, then their other flavors must be good. I thought that their version of the classic milk tea was alright, not the best, but not the worst. Their boba is fair, it wasn't hard or anything but it just didn't have the flavor I was looking for. My friend got the roasted oolong, and in my opinion it didn't have a "strong" enough oolong flavor to it. I've been here before to work on some things and had a great experience. The guy that initially helped me out last month was very friendly and seemed genuine when giving advice on what was the top faves. I would've given my first experience a 4/5 but I came the second time and the second time I came I had a pretty bad experience. The lady working helped take our order but she seem to be very bored, rude, and inpatient. She actually messed up my order twice. She also gave me a scratcher which is a promotional item they are having for their new year where you scratch one of the circle's out of three and it will give you either a free drink, free topping, or some sort of percentage off. When I had asked what that was she then asked me to scratch and said you can just use it for your next order. I got the lychee milk tea with fruit bits in it and when I tried it the lychee tasted rotten. When I had went to go and tell the girl working, she seemed very upset and annoyed and asked, "what do you want than?" After I had ordered I had asked if I can use the free topping scratcher she said, "no" but I personally thought was bad quality service because she had forgotten to give me the scratcher prior to my first order when I paid. She didn't allow me to use it the second time even though she had messed up. I will not be returning if she is working. If I see her working, I will not go in. Decided to visit this boba shop after hanging out at LVL Up, which is a barcade a few blocks away. Visited for the convenience of location and since I enjoy trying new boba shops. Drinks were prepared quickly, especially considering that my group ordered 4. I ordered the Lychee Green Tea with honey boba (no sweetness and less ice) and I took a few sips of the Tutti Fruit Tea with honey boba (also no sweetness and less ice). I loved that both of these drinks included bits of real fruit. The Tutti Fruit Tea included mango and strawberry bits. Boba pearls were soft and chewy. Although I opted for no sweetness (like I usually do with my boba drinks), both drinks were still naturally sweet from the fruit which was perfect for me (considering that I still have somewhat of a sweet tooth). I had that Dirty Thai Milk Tea with egg pudding. They ran out of boba on a Saturday and weren't going to make more. At 50% sweetness and light ice, it honestly just tasted like an iced coffee with some oversteeped thai tea. I much prefer 7Leaves' thai tea. Plenty of other tea places around with a short drive. The milk tea I had here was some of the best I've had in a long time. The shop was small and cute with enough seating for big groups. I came with my friend close to closing and the people working were very kind. Our service was great despite us cutting it close! My friend got their mango tea I believe and it was so good! Both employees were very friendly and polite. When I got my green tea, the lady told me to try it and if it was too sweet, she could adjust as needed. I asked her to make it a bit less sweet and then she asked me to taste it again before she sealed the cup. Perhaps they could change their sweetness levels to 25% increments- that might be easier for the employees! With all of the tea/boba shops popping up, it's important to have good customer service. So funny. My girlfriend was talking about how she wished there was a Boba place in downtown Campbell. We went for a walk and saw the signs. We walked in immediately to a very friendly staff. Leslie & Luis (I think) gave me a free sample of Boba to try and it was exactly the right kind of sweet texture I wanted.
