I remember when this used to be a Coldstone Creamery and looks almost the same inside. You order from a person, not a tablet. The guy who served me was pleasant and my drink was made quickly. I like how they have a varied menu, not sure if they customize with less/more sweet/ice. The pineapple drink I got was really good and not super sweet. It did have a ton of jelly stuff at the bottom that was actually a little big for the straw, and I had a bit of a time drinking a bit of it! But it was good once I figured out what I was doing. They did have some seating outside and also inside. I don't think this is a location you would just stop by since parking at the Pruneyard can be hit and miss, but a great place to stop when you are here and ready for a cold beverage. read more

I was raving a fruit tea, while I was walking around the Pruneyard shopping center this afternoon. I happy to find a Teaspoon location here. I walked in and was warmly greeted by two employees behind the counter. I already knew what I wanted. They didn't have a kiosk to order from. You have to place your order at the register. I ordered the guava sunset. I asked if they could make it a little less sweeter than the 25%. I was assured that they could. I needed to use the restroom and saw that you needed a code to unlock the door. I asked the young lady for the code but she, instead, came and unlocked the door for me. That was really nice of her. The restroom was very clean inside. My drink was waiting for me when I came out. I decided to take it to go. They do have tables for seating inside if you choose to enjoy your tea there. This is the only Boba Tea place at The Pruneyard in Campbell. Perfect place to stop to get some refreshment after watching a movie at their nearby Pruneyard Cinemas. We ordered a House Milk Tea and a Guava Sunset. I got their rooibos tea with grass jelly. I read that grass jelly is good against diabetes and it was only 30 calories. Next time I might get the rooibos tea with crystal boba. That is only 50 calories if you get it without milk and without sugar. The rooibos tea does not have caffeine which I prefer for an afternoon drink. I like that they have low calorie and caffeine free options. Drink was $9 including a 15% tip. My bf and I went here on a Saturday, and parking was a little confusing with all the one ways and narrow roads, but we ended up parking in a parking lot across the street where there was plenty of spaces. The inside of the store was very open, bright, and clean. There was a good amount of seating, and it seemed like a nice place to just chill and relax. I even saw a group of people playing card games. I got my usual order, Silky Mango, and my bf tried the White Crystal. The cashier was pretty friendly in answering my bf's questions about the sweetness level of drinks. After ordering, we got our drinks in less than 5 minutes. My drink was good, although I felt like something was a tiny bit off, but I couldn't put my finger on it. The boba was also not as soft as I would have liked it. Regardless, I'll always enjoy how creamy and mangoey this drink is. My bf said his drink was good. I'm not a grape person so I can't really say that I'm a huge fan of White Crystal, but the initial oolong tea taste was good. Wait was a little long on a Sunday afternoon, but they have the staff to whip out the drinks smoothly. I ordered the violet latte and spoke to the employee about my dairy intolerance. We tweaked the drink and added rice milk instead and I opted for 50% sweetened. Loved loved my ube drink! Lots of ube paste and chunks. I think I slurped it up within a few min lol This drink is such a pretty purple color! Price of the drink was a little steep $7-8 dollars. Overall, the taste was very average and there were some problems with our order. We ordered the following: - Taro Lover with No Ice - There was still ice in the drink, despite asking for no ice and there were no taro chunks present in the drink. The taste was okay. - Make your own with Hojicha Green Tea, No Ice, 25% Sugar and Oat Milk - There was still ice in the drink and there was no sugar in the drink and was very, very bitter. Despite a lot of great reviews and a long line for this place, I came out a bit underwhelmed. Although the place itself and service was perfectly fine, the premium price didn't seem to justify the quality of the drink I got so I can't say I'm hooked. Being in the Pruneridge plaza, parking was pretty straightforward to find though we did have to walk around a bit to find the place tucked away in a corner. Though the place itself was clean and well maintained (they have an automatic door opener with motion sensors!), the menus were consistently placed in spots that made it rather hard to read from the line (such as directly behind a ceiling light or without lighting at all). The line moved quickly though. We received our drinks quickly enough after placing our order and noted they even had bamboo fiber boba straws, so points for being eco-conscious. Unfortunately the main attraction was where my experience fell rather short. I nabbed a seasonal Ube latte with rice milk, but it was definitely below par for me. The boba was on the tough side and stuck together (had to break it up with my straw). Though very creamy, the flavors were rather lacking and I didn't really taste much aside from the creaminess and faint sugar taste from the boba; the ube puree was fresh with chunks but overall the drink was rather bland. My brother grabbed a Lychee on lychee and his drink also had a similar problem (lacking in flavor). Acceptable as a one-off thing, but not something I'd come out of my way to grab. read more
