Breathable sent their crew out to our house last Fall to have the air vents cleaned. We do not wear our shoes inside the home, and we were assured the crew would take off their shoes before entering the house, and cover the floors before performing any work. They did! They did such an excellent job of cleaning our air vents, that we had them come back to make repairs to the duct work under the house. I had them come in & clean all my 15 ducts and install the filter system with upgraded filters. They also did a test on my heater system & noticed that one of the vents was weak. Nearly seven years since my home's current heating system was installed, a thorough cleaning was overdue--especially as a dead entrapped mouse had fallen down an open vent, deep into a duct! (Those spring-loaded mousetraps have a bouncing life of their own!) My research led me to Breathable and a couple other local firms. Finally, I phoned Atlas Heating, an excellent company which installed the heating system in my home. I asked their advice. "We recommend Breathable." OK! Phoning, I reached owner Nir, and quickly received needed information. Communication with him was fantastic before and after the work was done: professional, polite, clear, prompt. Due to a customer's last-minute cancellation, the team was able to come that afternoon. Again, communication was excellent as they advised me 45 minutes before arrival, and the crew's technician Juan continued patient, clear, respectful communication. Upon arrival, the three men removed their shoes, placed thick plastic over all the floors and went to work. You get the feeling they respect the property. They had five vents, ductwork under the house, seven years' accumulation of dust (probably including things I don't want to think about) and a dead rodent to contend with. They also cleaned the bathroom exhaust and gas dryer exhaust. I went outside while they were working. Later, one the crew came out and showed me a gold chain, which was caught somehow under the air intake floor grill. I didn't even know it was missing! I was not inside when this valuable item was discovered. A less honest person could've simply pocketed it. That's the level of honesty and integrity of Breathable. And this time around it was Juan and his team who did a great job for us. We have a dog who sheds a *lot* of fur, and all nine vents in our house had traces of the dogs fur in them. Breathable is a seriously professional outfit. I called them for a duct cleaning, and scheduled a "smoke test" of my ducts after a conversation with Nir, the owner. The smoke test was performed the same day, and revealed numerous leaks in my ducting system. The full cleaning AND repair work was scheduled for the very next day, and Juan and crew showed up bright and early with a crew of 4 or 5 guys. At each step of the process, Juan either showed me in person (including a visit to my crawlspace), or by photo every detail of what work was needed and why. The cost for each item of work was cited to us up front, and the crew was able to complete all of the work after working a full day in , around, and under our house. We are very happy with the results. Our HVAC system works much more quietly and efficiently. Even our insulation/wrapped ducts could be shown on a home improvement show. You get the service that you asked for, and pay what you've been quoted. Today the lead tech Nai and his team of two other techs arrived on time and quickly went about their work, respectful of the property. This morning I got it in my head that I needed my air/heating ducts cleaned. I Googled it and saw that Breathable had great reviews. Now I know why! I called and left a message and my message was returned immediately. I was offered a cancellation that they had and the crew was at my house within the half hour. Felipe was available for all questions and Noe and the team were extremely courteous and professional. Obviously I don't know anything about air ducts, but from the questions they asked I could see they were doing a very thorough job and wanted it done right.
