I was told that replacing one of the parts, which would cost over $600, would fix our heater. After the repair, we were advised to give it a day for the system to acclimate. However, not only did it fail to work, but the heater was also blowing cold air. Recently, we called for any other company for service again because we couldn't figure out what was wrong with the heater after believing that replacing the faulty part would solve the issue. We were informed that our HVAC system is near the end of its lifespan. The technician explained that the reason the machine was blowing cold air was that it was cooling off the temperature to prevent overheating, which could potentially trigger a fire. Why didn't Cyclone detect this earlier? During the service, the technician asked if I wanted to receive a $20 discount in exchange for writing a positive review and posting the pictures he took. Honestly, I wasn't interested in writing a review or the discount; I was just excited that my HVAC might finally be fixed. Mario came out within an hour of calling and immediately found and fixed the issue with our HVAC blower. He said the issue with the HVAC could be one of two things - a relay or the complete motor assembly. He tried the relay first, as he had the part on hand and it was the less expensive option. He said he'd only charge me for that replacement if it solved the problem. Luckily it did and we are cool in our AC again! He gave us a 6 month warranty on the new part he installed and the pricing was very reasonable. I had a few questions since this was the first time I've had to get our A/C tuned up and he was super helpful in answering all my questions. He mentioned our relay capacitor was going bad and could replace it during his visits to extend the life of our condenser. I said let's do it and he was able to get it installed quick and clean. He also suggested that our system could use more freon to keep our system ice cold so he was able to add more in no time. He did a great job with the capacitor install (super clean!) and the freon is going to keep our house cool all summer.
