Always love coming here for some frozen yogurt bingsoo! It's so yummy! Lots of seating upstairs, outdoor patio, or even inside. There are a lot of options of pastries to choose from and they're always adding new items! However my go to will always be the fresh fruit yogurt bingsoo. It comes with fresh fruit, mochi bits, corn flakes, condensed milk, and topped off with freshly spun frozen yogurt.
I love a good Korean bakery, and luckily living in Annandale means I have plenty to choose from. Breeze Bakery Café is a two-floor bakery with tons of options -- sweet, savory, hot, and cold. The space is always well kept and well stocked, making it a great place to pop into when I'm nearby and craving a quick snack. My recent favorite has been the savory onion bread, which has been absolutely delicious. Overall, I think most of the items are reasonably priced, though one small pet peeve was that the madeleines felt a bit pricey at $4 for two pieces. That said, they were still very tasty. All in all, a solid spot when you're in the mood for Korean bakery treats.
Frequented this cafe numerous times. The coffee is okay. I enjoy their iced banana latte, the rest is pretty average. For hot teas, my go-to is the sour plum tea - very comforting and a unique flavor you can't find most places. The bakery items are good, I haven't been disappointed but nothing has blown my mind. What I enjoy the most is the yogurt soft serve with toppings!! The yogurt is the perfect balance of sweet and tart, I haven't found another place that has this same flavor yet. Refreshing with fresh fruits, mochi, and cereal flakes. The interior is relatively clean with plenty of seating up and downstairs. It does get crowded and loud in the evenings. There is a covered patio on second floor that's more ideal when weather is nice. But it's usually heated in winter. Their cakes are also good, namely the mango. Fresh mango, light cream, perfect amount of sweetness, moist cake.

Spent a good 1.5 hours here enjoying coffee, tea, and desserts. The full moon cake was huge. Fluffy and not too sweet. The macarons were also tasty. Chewy outer shell and soft middle. The cashier was super nice. Very friendly and conversational. We ended up sitting upstairs, outside. Given where this is located, there isn't much of a view. But it's pretty, decorated with lights, cute ambiance. The only thing that ruined my time a bit was the chair I sat in had a wet spot I did not notice. So Unfortunately my jeans got wet. Cute Korean bakery in the area. A really nice chill hangout spot with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your food. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Very cute design and decoration inside. Baked goods are made in house and are fresh, good creative variety. Mix of the Korean fresh style pastries. Coffee options are solid and they have a nice gelato selection. A good place to come chill.
I love coming here on the weekend mornings, great coffee and so many baked goods to pick from.
My friends and I stopped here for dessert after dinner plans. What a fun cafe with SO many options! I picked up a mini tiramisu which was to die for. My friends each got gelato and really enjoyed their selected flavors. They do offer samples! I also picked up chocolate covered mangoes for my mother for a little treat. The shop was clean and had a ton of seating. The seating included a downstairs area, upstairs area, and a heated patio.
I was OBSESSED with this bakery the first time I entered it. I absolutely loved the variety in what they offered: pastries, yogurt, milky ice bars (popsicles), gelato (I think?), mother of pearl jewelry boxes, tea cut sets, sandwiches, chocolates, teas, smoothies.. and did I see salads on the menu? I'm not quite sure. I was too distracted by the sweets!! I wanted it ALL haha. I also really liked their cute flowers by the stairs. I got the melon-flavored milky ice bar (popsicle), one of the castellas, an egg & bacon pastry, vegetable and beef croquette, Korean sweet herbal tea, soft egg jam baguette, and Dubai chocolate pistachio. All were delicious! Though, I wish my egg & bacon pastry was warm. The Dubai chocolate was also overpriced compared to what other places charge for larger sizes. Still, it was good! My friends and I went upstairs to sit outdoors and enjoy the weather. I feel like if we went back there together, we'd definitely go upstairs again to enjoy the weather. I'm looking forward to returning to this cafe! So much more food and drinks to try!
Love this place! The pastries are always fresh and delicious, service is kind and fast, and the ambiance in the cafe is so cozy and welcoming! I love the amount of seating available, especially on the second floor terrace - it almost makes you feel like you're at a bakery somewhere in Europe. I have tried multiple of their coffees, but the banana latte is the one truly to die for. I dream of that coffee daily!!
Great place to come after a big Korean meal in the area. Come here for their bingsoos and froyo!!! Me and my friends are actually obsessed with their frozen yogurt with fruits and mochi on top. Super fresh and creamy and delicious. Snow bingsoo basically melts on your tongue, it's so delicious. Great to share with friends and eat a cold treat!! Lots of seating, especially on the second floor upstairs. Always a great place to catch up with friends or do work and chill. Very busy on the weekends.
I ordered the banana latte and it is soooo good! I've had a banana latte once in Denver and have loved it ever since but every place I've ordered it.. just isn't good. Management here also offered to make me something else if I didn't like it which I really appreciated! Overall, great place with great service and ambiance! Definitely recommend this place to catch up with friends or just to get work done (can get a bit loud at times)
Sweet *and* savory treats. Plus lots of drinks and iced creams. Something for everyone. I was dragged here by older generation family and wasn't interested in any sweet pastries, but was surprised to see some other items that were more suited to my tastes. Baked items with egg, and even a mini pizza(ish), both of which were good. The interior has an oddly specific 'trendy Korean vibe' but I saw Asians of all walks of SE Asia there, co-exisiting peacefully and singing Kumbaya! Me, (certainly my family), was amongst the oldest there, so it definitely seems like a younger hangout in general. However, also quite pleasant for us on a Sunday afternoon.
My go-to study/ chill spot in NOVA. The amount of space on the first floor, second and the heated, covered outside portion on the second floor and free WiFi is unbeatable. The menu with drinks, desserts, and food is very extensive. No wonder it's always packed! Parking is a hit or miss but I've always been able to find somewhere.

A busy place with lots of customers on a Saturday night! Everyone seems to be enjoying time together here to chat over desserts and drinks. There's is a second floor and an open balcony. I can imagine the it being even more nicer during summer nights. The interior is nice and With a great selection of pastries. We tried the green tea gelato bingsu here and got a few pastries to go. I know, dessert are supposed to be sweet, but the bingsu is a little too sweet to my personal liking. read more

An amazingly cute place with great variety of baked and freshly made goods. The dates tea was delicious! Its warm and a must try during this season. The onion baked bread(don't remember the full name:) ) was delicious! Their baked breads are really delicious! The pumpkin caramel roll wasnt as per my liking so i would skip it during my next visit They do have an assortment of cakes and other delicious pastries which i am very tempted to try and would definitely visit them soon ! read more

We stopped by for breakfast before heading out of town on a roadtrip. The shop was very crowded and chaotic, but they had hand sanitizer and gloves available for those who wanted them. I got the curry stuffed roll and - what was labeled as a Nutella loaf - but I later found out it had no Nutella and had chestnuts instead. Both were pretty bland, but for $1.50 you can't really complain! I wish they had been offered to be heated up as I'm sure that would have improved the flavor. Such a cute bakery/ cafe! I really love everything little thing about this place and especially the tree that they have in the middle of the whole place making to so cute and decorative. The selection of desserts are really to die for! Good luck with picking one cause you'll be looking at them forever! They have seating on the lower level and they also have seating on the upper level as well as outside. Perfect place to hang out with friends or even get a study session in. read more

We discovered this place during our Christmas trip to VA. Just like any Korean bakery in Chicago, this place has plenty of different options and the vast majority of their pastries and cakes were delish! I'm a huge fan of their animal cupcake and blueberry yogurt cake. After sharing with the family, everyone complimented on the taste. Glad we were able to find something new and delicious for the family. read more
Who would've thought a dessert spot would be open till late? I need to hangout in VA more often! This place was open till 2 a.m. and they had a lot of choices for desserts i.e. cakes, bubble tea, special bread, etc. I ordered the cheesecake and tiramisu and between the two I liked the cheesecake better. The place was busy when I arrived around midnight but they had plenty of tables to accommodate everyone. It was a two level building which helped considering how packed it was. One stop Korean stop is at Hummer Road off of Little River Turnpike off of 495. You whip to the right, park at the multitude of parking, and see a symbiotic relationship between Yechon and Breeze Bakery. You go to Yechon for the main course of Korean bbq. To pregame or the after party, you go to Breeze Bakery. Ambiance: Kpop la Madeleine Food: 3.5/5 Drink: 3.5/5 Seating: 5/5 indoor and outdoor patio seating, upstairs and downstairs spacing Parking: 4/5 crowded but I can usually find a spot Must Haves: - Bingsoo - pretty good to share. I like the coffee ones - Discount baked goods: if you come after 9 pm you notice the cost of bakery goods go down. It's not great but for a buck or two shut up and enjoy it Notes: - This breeze bakery has WiFi - There's an outdoor patio area that's great, just remember to press that button to come in and out and don't crash into the sliding door - Very clean and bright and spacious space, really a place to hang out to catch up with friends over the hypersweet Korean eats. - takes credit card but it's a $5 minimum that's easily met if you get a boba drink read more
This is the best place to go in Annandale if your looking for deserts and baked goods. Service is prompt and the place looks great. Their selection is large and I've never been disappointed. I especially like the gelato here, there are many different flavors - I have yet to try them all. On the down side, as others have mentioned parking can get tight when it's busy, and seating can be challenging as well. Other than that I have no complaints. read more

What a great place to meet up and socialize with friends! It's open late into the night and always bustling with people. Breeze has a sizeable selection of baked goods, desserts, and drinks. Great mix between Korean bakery and cafe. The quality of the desserts are on the lower side, comparable to your average Korean bakery (i.e., Shilla). For me personally, the main draw isn't the food nor the drinks, but the atmosphere and setting. Being able to go here to meet up with people when everything else is closed is a major plus. That makes up for the not-great-but-not-terrible desserts. I recommend this place for when you can't decide or find anywhere else to go! read more

I used to live in Annandale and this was my go to spot for dessert, despite the usually terrible parking. Located between Yechon and 7-Eleven, Breeze Bakery offers 2 floors of seating and quite an assortment of breads, pastry, cakes, coffee drinks, bingsoo, and cupcakes. Even though they always have a few people helping customers out, it seems like they keep bumping into each other behind the register. I always get a slice of the green tea and chocolate mousse cakes. As delicious and soft as they are, $5.25 (after tax) for a tiny slice of cake seems a bit much. Especially since somehow the slice keeps getting smaller and smaller. The cakes are good, but I'd look somewhere else first (if price matters). read more

Their plain yogurt soft serve is the best ever! Must try. Beats sweet frog and pink berries original tart hands down. It is creamy and delicious. They have other baked good and even gelato but we've never tried. read more

Outside Patio! This place is a way bigger than Shilla Bakery. It's clean, organized, and spacious in here. They've got plenty of seating (2 floors) and an outside patio. They offer a variety of items (ie. baked goods, gelati, bubble tea, pat bing soo, full sized cakes, mini cakes, coffee, tea, etc). I was able to try their chocolate cake and cookies. They definitely hit the spot. My chocolate craving was fulfilled. The cakes were huge and priced at around $4 each. Not bad, since one cake happily satisfied 5 individuals :P The cookies were slightly sweet, which was nice but a bit lacking in flavor. Their Green Tea gelato is smooth and creamy. However, it was a bit too sweet and the green tea flavor was light. Their Pat Bing Soo (Shaved Ice) is flavorful but the quality of the ice is OK. It's on the more crunchy side versus fluffy and smooth. I'm still glad they offer this dessert! {Note} Breeze Bakery Cafe is right beside Yechon Korean Restaurant. Two delicious places side by side. This is an adorable bakery. Love their Pat Bing Soo, the Korean shaved ice dessert topped with condensed milk, generous slices of fresh fruit, mochi bites and a creamy ice cream. Get a cup for yourself or a large bowl to share with friends. When it's warmer out, you can relax upstairs in the sunny balcony space among the pretty potted plants and watch cars zoom by. They also offer milkshake-type of bubble teas which also hit the spot; and their frozen melon and fruit bars are also refreshing. Chocolate and baked goods are on the denser-side of the fluffy scale and can be pricey. But where else can you get a teddy bear-faced cake? Cute reigns supreme here. I love it. This is also a nice place to hang out and wait if you're in line to eat next door at the busy Yechon for BBQ. But Breeze is worth a deliberate, special trip out to Annandale on its own! read more
Came here at the end of lunch time, so it wasn't that busy. My cousin and I got a bunch of their breads - so fresh! But I also got three scoops of their homemade gelato! The gelato was absolutely amazing! Each portion was large and even after the 10+ minute drive back home, the gelato barely even melted. Definitely a must! I only wish that I had tried their bingsu (Korean shaved ice). read more
We were not here for long, but as we were driving by, my wife wanted to stop by here. I must say I have seen this place during the day and it wasn't as impressive as it was at night. The Christmas lights added bit of flair to the businesses. I will come back at a later on and eat here. From what I saw, the second floor balcony looked like the most fun. I can see my self drinking a smoothie and chilling at one of the tables outside. Great times are coming this summer... read more

Second time coming to the cafe and I was slightly disappointed in my cake. Ordered the red velvet and it just tasted like stale cake, couldn't even finish it unfortunately. The green tea cake was a lot better but not as much. The location is clean and the staff are very kind and I'm not sure if they discontinued the cute animal pastries but they had none unfortunately and that was what brought us into the cafe in the first place. In general the pastries were fluffier, tasted better and were more fresh the first time we visited. read more

We went here after dinner for dessert. My first time. It was pretty crowded even at nearly 10pm. My friend shared the large wild berry snow ice. The ice was a bit chunky but if you mix it with the ice cream it was good. The little mochi in the snow ice was good but there were only a few. read more

It is a nice place to come to for some unique desserts. They have an assortment of Korean pastries, homemade popsicles, cold and hot drinks, and so much more. I've got their gelato ice cream before. It was okay... Nothing special. I've tried their yogurt, green tea, and peach boba tea and again nothing special. They just have good desserts to eat in a really relaxing and fun place. They have a lot of places to sit and chat with friends and family after a dinner or if you are in the mood to catch up on some school work. You can just lounge there all day eating desserts... But probably not a good idea to be surrounded by all that stuff all day lol. read more
