Love Yelp for this!! Found this little gem in San Lorenzo on my quest to find good local coffee shops. I have been here twice, both on an early weekday morning so it wasn't very crowded. They have a very cozy interior with good seating if you want to relax or work on your laptop. The service was friendly. The lovely lady at the register recommended the S'mores mocha. I was worried it may turn out too sweet but it wasn't. The drink was delicious and this was in their seasonal holiday menu. I also tried their breakfast sandwich which was quite decent. I absolutely love this hidden gem in the bay area! I love how nearly everything is made in-house and they put a lot of care/time crafting each drink/food. The drinks I've tried are the iced Mexican mocha and the iced coquito coffee. Both delicious and had a good dosage of coffee in there. The Mexican mocha was surprisingly a bit more sweeter than the coquito coffee. I personally enjoyed the coquito more and would get it next time. I love how both drinks were bold in coffee flavors, and didn't taste like sugary drinks. The whipped cream was heavenly! I also got the churro croissant which was delicious. Love how it is a bit soft inside and the churro coating was so good. The workers were super friendly and efficient with their process. Would totally be back to try more item on their menu. read more

Cute coffee spot! Stopped by for coffee after having lunch across the street. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. I loved the macrame hanging chairs, which add a playful yet relaxing element to the space. It's a great spot to sit and enjoy your coffee. I ordered the Horchata Cold Brew, and my cousin got the Dulce de Leche Latte. The staff who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Our drinks were good. My hubby and I wanted to go for a drive! So we headed to our go to coffee date spots... For a chilly, we both got a large dulce de leche with oat milk. I noticed their very lovely decorated monthly special. March Matcha with a variety of matcha lattes. I love a good matcha. And so does my daughter. She typically sticks to a basic matcha. But I wanted to change it up. So I asked the barista what she recommended. She said she loves the Strawberry Horchata and the Lavender. So I decided to get both! And of course my daughter wasn't adventurous and turned down the drinks... she didn't like the floral notes, and she said the strawberry one reminded her of the special k strawberry cereal...I took a sip of each and claimed them both! I finished my cup of coffee and had an iced matcha... The lavender matcha was so calming to drink. You can smell relaxation in a cup. But the taste was light and not overwhelming. I savor the lavender matcha as I dealt with stressful emails! This afternoon, I drank the strawberry matcha. It does taste like Special K Red Berries... it's like a delightful dessert. The three flavors created this fusion that had a nice blend. Not one overpowering the other... it's like a dance of flavors with each sip. Today was a happy drink day! Food was delicious. I really like the Horchata Matcha drink. It is on the sweeter side so if you don't like too sweet, it might not be your favorite. Service was great. This is a great little spot to visit on a daily if I were able to but I've been here only a few times. First time was a quick stop and another was a little stay to enjoy the treats with company. The place is cute small with some tables outside and in but not crowded and a lot of traffic so it's pretty known. I signed up online and they sent me a reward to have a drink and had no issues claiming the free item. All the drinks and food I've had were all delicious. Drove up and made a couple circles as the small shared parking lot offers limited parking for all the business in that center. I found a spot parked and went in. There was someone ahead of me so it gave me a chance to check out the menu while I waited and admire the space. I love signature drinks but I asked the cashier for her recommendations on top sellers. I decided to go for the Creme brûlée latte less sweet and a vegan muffin. I asked to use their restroom after an over 50 minute drive up and the cashier said it was broken which was a huge disappointment. I sat and waited about 15 minutes for my drink. I really expected a Creme brûlée topping on the top of the coffee cup that I could crack open with a spoon but it was just in the middle of the coffee. The coffee itself was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary or memorable enough to return. The vegan muffin had a hard granola topping but the muffin itself was moist and full of raisins. Tasted like a carrot cake muffin without the frosting. The interior is spacious and comfy. It's decorated nicely. Looks like they sell their own merchandise and you can find other local small businesses items on their walls. Plenty of seats inside and can accommodate groups of 4. The service was very transactional. One persons is making all the drinks so it did take a while till I got mine. Before I left I asked the barista for any local spots that would have a bathroom I could use and she said maybe the market across the street. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Parking is a lil tight but definitely worth the few rounds of circling like a vulture. I ended up parking on the side street. Inside was nice and clean. The menu was clean. Simple and easy to read. A lot of good options. Options so good that I didn't know what to get so I let a couple of people go in front of me. I ended up ordering one of the holiday specials. Peppermint Horchata (Iced). The wait was a wee bit long for an iced coffee but it was worth it. I asked if they make the horchata in house or if it's powered...the barista said it's in house. Which I am glad because I am gluten free and some powdered mixes have gluten/wheat. The coffee was smooth. Not bitter at all. It was not too sweet. It had the perfect amount of peppermint and fresh whipped cream. I would definitely get this again. They had a few other non coffee items for sale (toasts and bkfst sandwiches but I cannot have them) like herbal tea mixes and ai had to guess the flavor due to no label or price label. All in all it was a cute place and I plan on making special trips here again to try more of the coffees. read more

We are regulars, and will continue to support, and continue to recommend to friends and family. HOWEVER, definitely some opportunity here. Orders take on average of 15-25 mins from when ordered to receive. Drinks are a hit and miss. Idk if it depends on the barista, but a drink like a Dulce de leche will never taste the same from the last one we had. I stick to a black coffee with cream and always happy. Empanadas are always fire! Hopeful they'll find a rhythm to get orders out sooner and having drinks consistently taste the same no matter who is making them. Again we will continue to support as this is such an amazing place for our community, staff is always super nice and attentive, and we always enjoy ourselves, but definitely room for improvement. read more

This is my favorite local coffee shop. I have been coming here for years! My biggest complaint is that I miss their old menu items. They've gotten rid of my favorite breakfast items and they don't sell the sweet treats my kids loved to get. I am assuming that's because they no longer have a partnership with the baker, but I could be wrong. I have also been waiting years to buy one of their hoodies but they haven't restocked them. I wish they would bring them back! Aside from my nostalgic complaints, the food and drinks are amazing. I still enjoy their unique delicious drinks. I like this place and all, but $80 for two coffees and a half-dozen pastries?! ... and then realized later two were actually missing from my order lol. Today I went and checked out this super cute café. I got an iced Horchata coffee for myself, and two chocolate milks for my toddlers. I instantly fell in love with my drink on the first sip. My toddlers downed their chocolate milk so fast, which means they really enjoyed theirs as well. I definitely cannot wait to come back and try their food and more of their coffees. And their customer service is great, all workers seem so sweet and I am grateful for the girl at the register because I had an exhausted mom brain moment, and asked an obvious question, but she respectfully answered. I try really hard to support this business because I have been going there since it was Gala Bakery. However the price of their coffees and food is just insane. Unfortunately the food never really wows me no matter what I order. Today I got the breakfast bagel which I didn't realize was an everything bagel. I hate everything bagels as I dislike seeds and onions. This one had such a strong onion smell even my toddler complained about the smell in the car. I also got a banana cream coffee and it's not bad but definitely has an artificial banana taste. I'm not sure what I expected but it wasn't that. But the price of the latte and bagel is just crazy. $8 for a latte and $13 for a basic bagel with cheese and egg was mind boggling. Unfortunately I don't know how soon I will come back.
