The person who came over (whom we later found out was the owner) began aggressively stating that her servers identified him as being a troublemaker and that he's "always asking to be comped or a discount" (not true as this was his third time and hadn't been there in over 6 months). He tried to state there must be a mix up. The person again, aggressively and with loud voice enough to be embarrassing, said she stands behind her staff and it was him. I ended up standing up and next to her and between with my back to her, made a path so my dad could leave. She then said she didn't want us to come back. We (party of 6) left absolutely gobsmacked. Even when he asked the owner to have the staff that said he was a troublemaker to come over and identify him (so she could see that it wasn't him) she again loudly proclaimed she stands behind her staff. Again, totally bizarre. As an owner I can appreciate standing behind your staff, but have enough class and tact to realize they may not be correct and not alienate an elderly couple who have been in the neighborhood almost 30 years. Our family patronizes the grocery, dentist, and other services in the community . This unprofessional, borderline abusive behavior will not be forgotten. Forewarned is fair warned.
