Really good burgers, ours came out cold, and when I mean cold, I mean they must have been sitting there at least 10 mins waiting to come out. We waited over 45 mins to get our food so the was disappointing that they were cold after waiting so long. Also I upgraded ($2) for my fries for tater tots and they didn't come out. I asked for them. I ate a good quarter of my burger (5min) and nothing. Asked for manager at this point. He came he out didn't care at all. We told him our food was cold and he said I assure you it came right out. Also he would go get our tots... 5 more mins. By this point we were almost done eating. I can say the tots were good, lol, so are the fast food ones! I probably would not have found this place if it wasn't for yelp. I looked at the reviews and I knew I had to go. I recently moved close by with my boyfriend so we didn't really know the area. To our lovely surprise we found this burger place. The decorations are great and when we went it wasn't too busy. The server offered us samples of beers since they offer a wide array of them. I had a pumpkin cider.... I don't even like pumpkin but this beer was delicious and light. I also ordered the El Chapo Burger. If you like sausage and avocado this is the way to go! The burger was so flavorful, towards the end i tasted a tiny bit of spice. But the flavor was amazing. It also wasn't very big so I was able to finish it all. They serve a sauce with the cheese and bacon fries that is really good. I actually kept it to dip my burger in it. My boyfriend had the Big Sexy and he really enjoyed it. I noticed his was definitely larger than mine and had a lot going on. The flavor was also on point. For dessert we had the Oreo Milkshake and it was the right amount of Oreos and sweetness. It wasn't an overpowering sweetness so I was glad I could enjoy it. The only downfall is the burgers are at about a $15 range but it's worth it. BRGR is pronounced "burger." The restaurant is in an unassuming strip mall in Ft. Lauderdale. If you are worried about clogged arteries, heart attack, high cholesterol or your waistline, this is not the place for you. This is casual dining at its best. Tables around the perimeter with "highboy" tables in the center. At the front of the restaurant is an old food truck that I assume was the start of BRGR Stop before it became brick and mortar. The cuisine is premium ground beef, pulled pork, chicken, sausage and cheese creations in huge portions. "The Bourbon Cowboy" and "The Big Sexy" each feature two 8 oz. BRGR patties. They are so thick you have to eat them with a knife and fork unless you are from Remulack. Their homage to the Philly Cheesesteak is called "The Cheesesteak Project." It features duck fat infused prime hand shaved ribeye with oven roasted caramelized onions; easily enough for two. I must not forget the 20 oz and 32 oz milkshakes,also the wings, fries, salads, soups and melts. Draft beer is served by the pint. The craft brews change occasionally but 15 or more are offered daily. Take as long as you want for a meal or just jump in and out for a quick but large bite. They offer a kids menu, each option including their tasty fries. My boys did not care for the chicken strips because they are coated in a Captain Crunch batter of sorts, so they were a tad sweet. They weren't bad, just different. They did like the hotdog, and my 8 year old is particularly picky. The burgers are large, and my husband enjoyed his. I have tried different grill cheese sandwiches. I prefer the Miss Cheezious over The Big Cheese, which was good, but underwhelming unfortunately. We recently tried the Mackin Cheese Balls, which were amazing. They are crunchy and flavorful with a tomato soup tasting dip. You get 3 large balls and they were worth the $9.95. Finally, the milkshakes are large and in charge. They are think and yummy. We were driving home from my favorite cider brewery (Broski!) and were hungry for burgers. Thanks to the Yelp community we found this gem and it exceeded our expectations. It was quite busy and is one of those places that unless you are looking for it you'd probably miss it. The wait staff was attentive and quick. We ordered the big a$$ pretzel, which yes, is indeed massive. The beer cheese is very good as a dipping sauce, I definitely recommend ordering an extra side of it because you'll need it. Since I'm a truffle girl at heart the Nuttin But Triffle Burger had my name all over it. It was cheesy, savory, and salty but above all gluttonous. Everything one would expect a truffle-used burger to be. (Honestly it may have been my favorite burger of 2017.) Plus, whenever a restaurant offers truffle aioli I always order extra (to dip my fries in of course). Unlike some other burger places their truffle aioli was almost half the cost which I appreciated. (Can you tell I have a truffle aioli love affair?) Had I not been so stuffed I would have opted for a milkshake but alas that will have to wait for another visit. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as a great craft beer menu that changes frequently. If you haven't tried any craft, ask and they'll be happy to provide you a taste. Both the meat quality and style of the burgers are just what I come to expect.....too big to fit the bite in your mouth and juices running down your hands. They're interesting people as well. Our server understood immediately that our first time was going to prompt an on the spot education, which he cheerfully provided. For example, order a large shake only if you have friends to help you drink it. Our server wisely warned us about portion sizes. That said, it's not a flawless experience. I don't say that to criticize. I am asking new diners to give this place the chance it deserves. If your burger isn't done to order, let them know. I was stunned by the quality of every item, but I could tell that it might be to everyone's liking. My lady said the street corn appetizer was not too spicy, meaning it was the best she's had in her book. My fries were perfect. The Captain Crunch chicken tenders were perhaps too subtle for my palette, but delicious just the same. My truffle burger could have been warmer, but it was tasty. The service couldn't have been friendlier overall. We did have a small issue but it was quickly rectified and doesn't take away from the evening. They had a mix up in the kitchen and the burger did come out not quite hot enough but they fixed it right up. The quantity of food was perfect for the cost in my opinion. I wanted to provide an update to my review from 7/4. First please note I edited my first review praising the owner for being a stand up person. Sadly as you read below this is not the case. We had placed a large order here at this restaurant. The food was okay nothing fantastic but the worst was the chicken sandwich which was badly burnt, mostly breading and tasted like old oil and just not edible. When posted my review the owner saw it and asked me to call him. I did as he requested and the owner talked to my family and I about the meal. The owner asked for a photo of the chicken sandwich and I provided that to him. When he received the photo and after speaking to us he said he would refund back the entire cost of what we spent to the credit card used which was my brother's. We said he didn't have to do that but he insisted. We thanked him. He said it would be refunded in a few days. Okay. No problem. Then like 4 days later my brother texted the owner just checking in to see if the refund was done. He said he had to check with his wife. He said it will get done. Okay again no problem. I texted the owner after 7 days asking for an update and the refund that he had promised us. I was ghosted. No response. My brother reached out and nothing there either. So 9 days later no refund as promised. Really sad but not surprising. We will not be going to this restaurant and we were planning to give it a second chance but not now as we feel we were mislead and lied too. All communications were polite and respectful by both parties. Sadly owner did not keep his word. read more

My sister, girlfriend, and I decided that we wanted to find a place that had non-traditional type burgers to try. Thanks to yelp, we found this place. We went on a Saturday afternoon. The place is rather small inside, I want to say it has maybe 10 tables at the most. Not of lotta room to move in. I decided on the Little Debbie cupcake shake and my sister got fruity pebbles. My GF declined on getting one, saying she would just have some of mine- how presumptuous of her! Lol Good lord this shake was an indulgence. Not only does it have bits of a Little Debbie's chocolate cupcake mixed in the shake, there's an entire cupcake at the top of the shake. In hindsight, my sister and I probably should've shared one as neither one of us were able to finish the shake while we were there. Oh well, you live and you learn! Lol I ordered the Burger Battle 2016 award-winning peanut butter jelly time burger, my girlfriend ordered the le Magnifique, and my sister decided to not order a burger and get the loaded tots, because she loaded up on most of her shake (she's really a small girl so an ice cube probably fills her up). My girlfriend's burger look like a bowl of French onion soup mated with a burger. Tons of caramelized onions and melted gruyere on a Brioche bun. It's a really big burger so again perhaps we should've thought about sharing. My peanut butter jelly time burger was so good. I like to try combinations that most people may think won't work but this did. There's peanut butter, tomato jam, candied bacon, and cheddar cheese on this burger. It's the perfect mix of salty, smoky, a little sweet, a little creamy. The burger just worked all around and now I know why it won an award. The downside is, like the other burger, it was huge. I had to take half of it home because I had filled up on my milkshake. I would definitely go back to Brgr Stop and would like to bring some people that are willing to try new things instead of the run-of-the-mill burger that has just ketchup, mustard, onions and pickles on it.
