After many years of carpet cleaning myself, there are a few things that I look for when deciding to have my home carpets cleaned now that I am no longer in the business. The first and foremost is to find a owner operator. I know that this person usually will pay much better attention to the job, and is invested in my satisfaction (repeat business). The second is that the cleaner uses a truck mounted unit (there are some portable units that can clean great - but I personally prefer the cleaning power of a self contained truck mounted unit). That being said, I needed to have my carpets cleaned before holidays and found Brian's Carpet Care online. He fit the bill - owner operator that is invested in making sure that the customer is happy, and to top it off his cleaning unit was top of the line. So I scheduled an appointment and Brian cleaned my carpets yesterday. It turned out just like I had hoped. Brian made my carpets look great! I'm very happy with the results and had a great surprise, that even though it was raining hard and the weather was horrible, the carpets were almost totally dry by early evening (big plus). Do not use this guy! He showed up on time which is good. He is pretty fast, sometime is too fast I think. All he tried to do is going through all standard steps very quickly and get the money. Most of the stain shows up after the carpet dry up next day. I thought the stain were gone when he just finished the cleaning since it is wet. He uses the big tool only and go through fast on the carpet. For some little area/stain/stairs, I thought he gonna use the hand tool to clean them, but he did not. He will ask for more money if were asked to use tools other than the big one. The carpet he cleaned does not have significant improvement compare to the condition before. Have used Brian a few times now for our carpet cleaning needs. He has always shown up on time and does a great job cleaning the carpets and furniture. We have a dog and cat who are rough on the carpets with accidents and I have been amazed that Brian is able to get ALL the odor out when he cleans. I have a very sensitive nose so it impresses me that he is able to do that. Today he came and cleaned our carpet and I wish I had taken before and after pictures with the black light I used to find where my dog had peed. Prior to the cleaning, the spots were disgustingly visible on the rug with the black light in the dark at night. After he was done cleaning and it got dark out I checked again with the black light and all the spots are gone! Amazing! He also cleaned my husband's recliner and made it smell new again. Brian was able to extract years of blatant flatulence abuse done to the seat of the chair, it no longer has the unmistakable aroma of my husband's derriere. So there you go, Brian is unafraid to really get in the trenches and get the job done! He is reasonable with his charges and does BEAUTIFUL work, very dependable.
