They seemed very nice on the phone and recommend a wrecker serive that they work with. They gave me the number to the wrecker service and they were quick in going to get my husband and the car. They towed the car to Rusty's. And since it was after hours by that time. Rusty's has a drop box that you can leave your keys in for afterhour drop offs. Since they were so backed up, they let us know that it was going to take them a few days until they could get to the car. They kept their word. As soon as they looked at what had happened, they were very honest and informed my husband that it would cost more to fix the car than it was worth. That kind of honesty is hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend this Repair shop if you want an honest opinion on what is wrong with your car and how much it's going to take a fix it.

When the person got out of the car he had this angry stare at me. I rolled down my window and asked him politely if he was the owner of the shop and he said yes. I said, "that was very rude and I guess won't be coming here". He then said I don't give a fuck. If you have any kind of business sense, you don't do that to a potential customer. The only alternative they offer to avoid the fee is Zelle, which doesn't allow money transfers over $500. After paying $189 for a diagnostic service, the mechanic first said the engine had failed and even gave her a quote for a full engine replacement. Later, the story changed -- first to a catalytic converter issue and then again to something else. When she picked up the car, it was in worse condition than before. It wouldn't go over 10 mph, and they admitted they already knew it was running that way but still let her drive it into traffic without warning her. The only reason they looked at the car again was because it came back in such bad shape. They were combative when we asked questions, and the engine cover wasn't even secured afterward. This used to be a shop we trusted, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent diagnostics, and disregard for safety were unacceptable. If you're looking for honest mechanics and reliable diagnostics, I would strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere.
