Came here with family from all out of town for a funeral and wanted to have a breakfast that had…read moresome gluten free items on the menu. We all arrived at about 10:15 on a Sunday morning with cloudy weather, so we had to eat inside. The rest has separate areas spaced out with multiple size table of two to eight people. We were seated in a separate room with large doorways for people to intermingle and servers to go between. Our group ordered after having beverages delivered to us and we then patiently waited for our food to arrive. Two of us ordered southern hash which noted were gluten free, an avaocdo belt and an onlete of a mix of items with a side of hash browns. As a matter of fact all entrees had a choice of sides of fruit, hash browns or breakfast potatoes (deep fried potatoes cubed). My omelet was a bit over cooked and dry, but was full of flavor after salt and pepper were added. The hash was well accepted and pacing of food was good. The ambiance was ok, but fairly noisy with not a lot of noise deadening materials on the wall, ceiling or floors.

First and foremost this place isn't bad but it's not great either. Starting off with the food…read moreitself it had its ups and downs , I got the breakfast roll appetizer and it was incredibly bland with no flavor. On the other hand I got the chicken and waffles with breakfast potato's and that was good. I would give the food a 3/5. The service itself wasn't bad they were all very friendly, just took a little bit to get their attention, not because it was busy they were all kind of just talking to each other. I'd give the service a 3/5. Lastly the price was on the pricier side so I'd also rate that a 3/5. It didn't break the bank but didn't help it either lol. All in all I'd give this place a 3/5 all around.

Today we dined for the first time since the Llazar Konda Group reopened the Belfré in its group of…read morerestaurants, which includes KAVOS, The Beach House Bistro and La Tavola, all in the area. We were thrilled with the familiarity but also with the newness of the menu. As it was far too hot to eat al fresco, we were given a table on the first floor near the window. We had 5:00 reservations and were seated immediately. Our server, Mason, was fun and efficient, but he also had to cover the bar so he was running. A few more staff would have been helpful as the tables filled up, and by 6:15, people were waiting outside to get a table. The age group of diners is varied, and everyone seemed to be very satisfied. We ordered the Bruschetta and the Salmon with Lemon Risotto, both of them prepared very well. The food tasted very fresh, and the presentation was lovely. I also ordered the Bolognese because I love a good dish of it. This one did not disappoint. However, the meat pieces were small pea-sized bits of beef, which tasted good, but looked a bit odd. I would like to know why, but I was too busy enjoying the dish. It is my birthday and so I was offered either a free cocktail or a dessert. I love a good treat so the flourless cake was my choice. It was a very nice birthday present. I really look forward to our next visit. The menu has lots of options I want to try.

Well, I do think it's worth mentioning they were top notch until the end and I hear there's a new chapter (possibly different, but with some of the same people involved) on the horizon. So, if when the new chapter arrives for the building where Belfre Kitchen thrived for so long, you wonder what came before and do these folks know what they're doing? They do. Belfre served up delicious food in a chic, warm, and welcoming atmosphere by servers who were kind and caring. Until we meet again, Belfre!
