Located in the Hannaford Plaza next to Subway. I've tried to stop here in the past, but the place was closed on holidays and on Mondays. I finally made it in here on a Saturday evening to grab a quick dinner. Brick House Pizza serves up thin crust pizzas (by the slice and whole pie 14"-16"-18"), calzones, salads, 12" hot subs, pasta dinners (with bread), wings, and cold drinks from the cooler. The prices here seem reasonable, most whole pizzas $9.50 (14" cheese) to $16.50 (18" specialty), subs $6.50-$7.00, and pasta dinners $6.00-$9.00. Pizza and soda specials offered here. Grande Cheese is used here. The place is very casual, which is an order at the counter place with open kitchen area and several self serve tables for eating in. I ordered the everyday specials which is buy 2 slices of pizza and get a free can of soda. There were seven kinds of pizza slices to choose from and I ordered a BBQ Chicken Slice and a Spinach, Tomato & Cheese White Pizza Slice and a can of Schweppes Ginger Ale. This came out to $5 even. The slices were heated in the oven for a short time then served hot with friendly service. While the pizza toppings on both slices tasted pretty good including the BBQ Chicken slice which had a sweet tangy BBQ sauce and tender chicken and the leaf spinach and slices of tomato on the other slice was very fresh, the firm thin pizza crust with big edges had minimal flavor and the texture was a bit dry. Just moved to the Voorheesville area and I've had a lot of other pizza in the Capital District. Brick House has GREAT Pizza. Haven't tried their subs yet. Reasons for 4 star instead of 5... 1. BBQ chicken pizza had too much bbq sauce and it overwhelmed the pizza itself. 2. The wings are not something I would get ever again. Seemed like they didn't Cooke them all the way and they were rubbery. I don't believe they deep fry them. I think they nuke them.. read more

I ordered an 8 cut bacon chicken ranch pizza and 20 boneless wings. The wings were good but typically way overpriced wherever you go! The pizza would've been perfect but they never put the ranch sauce on it so it was very dry. Make sure to check your order over before you leave the store or before the delivery person leaves. UPDATE: I stopped ordering from here because I always ask for all flats for wings because I simply don't like the drums. I understand when they say no and understand why but when I ask for at least 10/10 of each and I'm told "they're pre bagged so you get what you get" when I ordered from there at least TWiCE a week, if they can't at least accommodate a loyal customer with 10/10 I'm not interested in doing business with them. I got a slice of cheese and a buffalo chicken slice, with garlic knots. Cheese was ok, not great for the price. Buffalo chicken was very bland, barely any buffalo sauce. I'm a big fan of buff chick on pizza so that knocked down two stars for me. The topper wEre the knots. Things were hard as a rock, felt like they've been sitting there for hours or days. That subtracted a full star for me. Lastly, I hate to say, everyone there seemed like they hated working there (which comes out in the taste of their pizza... mediocre at best). Teenagers with scowls on their faces, creepy (I assume) the owner in back making the pizzas did not make me feel welcome and was harping on one of the female workers in an uncomfortable way... either way, it felt like everyone was phoning it in and awkward. That's what took off a 4th star for me. Hate to give these guys just one star but I've had a ton of NY style pizza and these guys were a disappointment. Maybe they can clean up their act, or maybe the town can get a (somewhat) decent pizza joint. We need better take-out food!!!! read more

Took twice the time quoted, no difference between the mild or medium wings, way too greasy and a pool of sauce on the bottom of the container. Ranch was substituted, they were out of blue cheese, even though there is a grocery store next door,lol, no celery or carrots. Wings were below average. Crappy delivery after crappy delivery with little/no customer service. Pizza is meh. Stromboli only has toppings in 1/3 of it. Won't order again. Messed up my order, was told they would be back in 5 minutes, didn't return for over an hour. Today I ordered a chicken sub, with lettuce, tomato, cheese and ranch. (Not ON the menu, but all of the listed ingredients are readily available at their shop) I received the order (I work in the plaza, so it is close and convenient) I opened it up and realized it was a chicken parm sub. (Not what I ordered) so I returned it to the pizza place asking for them to make it the way it was ordered, and told them I would be back in a few to pick it up. A few minutes later, the front counter girl comes into my work with money in her hand, handed it to me and said'she wanted me to tell you, they don't make that kind of sub'. Instead of the owners wife just skipping the sauce, and adding lettuce and ranch, (wich they have both items in stock) she refused my business. I will never support them as a business again, and will tell people about this incident. This is completely un called for. read more
