Busy doesn't equal good. My organization spends $200 or more a month and still, we have to remind them that we are tax-exempt. If you order online they do not honor tax-exempt which is also not listed online. If you go in to talk to them, they are just too busy to care. read more

I have no issues with Paesans. I used to not care for it when I moved here from downstate. I've slowly come around to it overtime. No other pizza option really. Staff is very nice and attentive. Our fav is buffalo chicken pizza or bbq chicken pizza. Not tried anything else really. The service is fast as long as they're not swamped with orders. Inside of the place is nice and clean. Ok food, but the service is terrible. Please be careful when ordering online. You can get a receipt and have it withdrawn from your bank account and they still may not have your order (as what happened to me). I get things happen, but they made me feel like I was dumb and offered no apologies or anything else. I spent 20 mins there (after the 40 min cook time) and left without any food, hungry, and down $40. Wont be going back. read more

My last visit to this Paesan's taught me a valuable lesson about pizza. I think there are fundamentally two kinds of pizza eaters. There are slice people, and there are pie people. And now I know that I am definitively a slice person. Both of these resulted in an inferior bottom crust, which is tragic. However, on my last visit, I ordered a slice and ate it in the shop. And when the slice is reheated in the oven, and the crust crisps up, as it should, this is among the better pizza experiences I have had in the area. I still need to spend a weekend eating slices from my top shops to ultimately determine the best of the best. But for now Paesan's is back in the rotation, and I expect will become a regular pitstop on the way out to the Guilderland Public Library. read more

Pizza was decent. We ordered 'to go' and it was ready pretty quickly. The white pizza with 'shrooms and broccoli was ok...could have used way more garlic. Even after adding powdered garlic I wasn't tasting much flavor. The regular pepperoni pizza was great though--lots of flavor like I'd expect. Crust is good-not too doughy but not floppy--it stood up to a fold over. The mild wings had a little kick which was fine by me. I have ordered from Paesans Guilderland for the past 17yrs! I have had occasional bad orders but for me it's the most consistently good restaurant I've ever used. I recently discovered that my problem orders seem to have occurred with online orders, which are apparently ordered through DealDash. I have stopped here for a couple of times to eat, always during dinner hours and always just buying slices and eating in. The pizza is decent... nothing special, nothing bad. They have a great variety of slices and I usually gorge myself on something like chicken parm. or buffalo chicken or garlic broccoli or meat lovers (though not in one sitting of course!) They have a small, clean eating area and a television. I sometimes watch the sports channel while I am there. I eat quick and leave though, as hanging around in empty pizza places isn't my idea of a good time. This 1-star review is for the customer service and not the quality of the pizza. I ordered delivery from Paesans. The pizza arrived quickly but was prepared incorrectly. I called to let them know that the order was wrong and they told me that the order came through their online order platform incorrectly. Instead of rectifying the situation by either remaking the order or offering a partial refund, they told me "there was nothing they could do." I try to order directly from establishments but I'll probably use one of the main ordering platforms because of their superior customer service and the fact that they value their customers more. read more

The guilderland location was our favorite place for a good pizza and good customer service. Things have gone downhill lately and tonight sealed the deal we won't be back. Their online ordering system to just get a cheese pizza was all sorts of messed up and they don't take ownership for the mistake for that or the driver who came over an hour after order with no wings. None of this had to be negative. They just needed to fix the error and say "sorry for the mess up". They just lost a long time customer after a terrible issue with an over $55 order and 2 hours of time ending with the customer driving to pick up a sloppy cheese pizza and soggy wings. Not cool. As someone the worked there for a while.I can agree with the person that said there were a bunch of kids in the kitchen and no management.I was there at 4 after school a few days of the week and weekends and almost every time not even 10 minutes after I got there the manager Dino would just leave but most of the time the manager Candace would be there.I just gotta say you were one of my favorite people to work with you did everything there but all of the other times that she wasn't there it would just be a bunch of teens running around and the cooks in the back that don't speak English.but like 15 minutes later the owners daughter would come in and I'm gonna be honest Mina and Dino were definitely some of the worst managers I've ever worked for.when there are people there there both nice and friendly but as soon as it got late and people weren't there they became completely different people and I have people that can back me up on that. Wouldn't recommend working here unless you wanna get screamed at for literally everything the get wrong.I'm not joking you'll get yelled at if you miss up during your training theses people are probably some of the most hot headed people I've ever met and it would shock me when I saw them actually being nice to a customer.I was actually fired from this job two times.The first time was on Halloween and it was packed but of course no one knew what to do.I was told By Mina to go to the table by the kitchen and start wrapping up more garlic so I did what I was told and not even I minute later Dino comes stomping over all mad as always and lightly shoves me to the side and starts doing exactly what his daughter told me to do.I didn't really understand what had just happened so I responded by saying BRO.He turns and looks at me and says get out pointing to the door.so I left and went for a drive to cool off and ended up meeting up with friends.Later that night I got a text from Mina telling me that she wanted me to come in the next day so we could talk about what happened when I honestly had no idea what I even did wrong in the first place.so I ended up getting the job back the next day.And believe it or not I got fired the again a few months later for taking time off because my uncle was in town.So at the end of the day I wouldn't recommend supporting this business and to anyone that currently working there you could get a better job with managers that don't beat you up for everything you do.I left and now I work for the state and y'all could too.I have people that could back me up on everything I said.I'm just setting the Truth free and thought y'all should know. read more

I called my order in and was told it would be ready when I got there but for some reason they had to redo my order and ended up waiting there for about 20 more minutes. One of the workers did offer me a complimentary pizza while I waited. Tried the white bacon tomato and ranch. It totally made up for me sitting and waiting. I'm getting that next time. Just when I thought all the good pizza joints closed, I find this gem. I forgot how large a large pizza is out here. A kid size could probably do it for me alone. I don't usually eat the crust, it's just something to hold on to, only exception is the fountain. Great memories of great pizza were in the first bite. I never thought Little John's would close.
