Ordered an 8-cut pizza from Paisano's and it arrived burnt to the point of being nearly inedible. We ate only two slices before realizing how badly overcooked the rest was. When I called to request that they correct the order, I offered to return the six untouched slices that were left, but they insisted I had to return the entire pizza and argued that because two slices had been eaten they would only send a 4-slice replacement. They also complained that it costs them money to deliver corrected orders. Sending out burnt food is bad enough. Refusing to make it right unless the customer somehow returns the entire pizza--including slices already eaten--and then nickel-and-diming over replacement slices is ridiculous. The pizza was unacceptable, and the way this was handled was even worse. Terrible customer service and not a business we'll order from again. read more

I literally shop here every week, twice last week. Food is good and when its not I never complain when things dont go right, I have to cook my pizza even though I ask for well.done, order with mushrooms and they are raw. Today is the final straw. Twice got wrong order, called today to let them know they gave me the wrong hot steak sandwich which I had delivered and she told me I can drive there and return the sandwich and get what I ordered. Called to see if I could buy a gift certificate for Christmas. Lady that answers the phone tells me "Sure, but you have to come by the store". I drive there and walk in 10-15 minutes later and ask to buy a gift certificate and am told "We are all out of gift certificates". I look at the lady who had clearly answered the phone 10-15 minutes earlier and she says "Call me tomorrow and I will let you know if we have any". UPDATE: It's been 9 years and I'm still banned for a misunderstanding. I guess the same night someone else complained and it escalated to involve police. THAT WAS NOT ME! I just didn't like my 2 hour late, cold sub that should have been hot. I have nicely called a couple times over the years and asked about my banned status- it was acknowledged that it was a mistake and mistaken identity but I was never removed. 9 years banned! Great food! I'm a fan of the pretzels and the selection of dipping sauces that come with them. Pizza is always served hot and fresh.

The food is delicious every time, no matter what you order. Take out is easy, fast. Parking is ample.

We have been eating this pizza for 18 years, but never again. We ordered a 12 cut Sicilian cheese only to find that since our last time there, the entire pizza has changed. The crust is not as thick, the sauce is not the same, the cheese is not like it used to be, so the entire pizza is foreign to us now. It was over-cooked and we mentioned that to the guy there and he said that is how they all are served, and he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do. It was no longer a square 12 cut, but an oval that didn't even fill the box anymore. I thought it was perhaps a fluke, but upon reading the recent reviews (all of which were since our last visit when the pizza was it's usual terrifically delicious delight) I came to the conclusion that something....NO, everything...had drastically changed for the worse, so we are going to never return. We order from here about once a month and I find it to be pretty good pizza, I always order my pizza extra done... longer cooking time which helps with the crust being crispier. Last night we just ordered the Parmesan garlic chicken wings and pepper poppers. The poppers were outstanding and the wings very tasty. The employee acknowledged my order and handed it to me Got back to the house, open it up and discovered this was not what I had ordered. Called them and the employee had the nerve to insinuate that I had told the employee upon pick up the wrong order (Not true). She then proceeded to tell me that I should be happy that I got more in my order than I originally asked for ( mind you wrong toppings). Ordered couple of pizzas for a party and one of the pizzas was completely wrong but paid for what we had originally asked for. They told us to bring the wrong pizza back and they put it out for slices to buy at the front counter area. Who does that? Made us drive out TWICE, 15 minutes each way and then no discount or remorse. Horrible customer service, always has a bunch of 14-16 year olds working in the kitchen that are goofing off. Ordered online like I always do got emails like usual I got the email saying out for delivery after an hour I called and got someone that said it was delivered to 11 main st Altamont that is the address you put in the system so that is where we delivered I said I have the email that shows the address 11 Main st Voorheesville she said well that is not what the system is showing I said well I want a refund or food and she said we close in a half hour I asked for a supervisor she said there was not one there then she hung up on me I called back several times and she would pickup and Hangup not saying anything. We're living in a delivery dessert since the last two places closed or stopped delivering. I got in the habit of stopping at Paisano's every week or two on my way home from work. We absolutely love their pizza! I'm from NYC area and hubby is from Boston area so we have strong ideas about what makes a good pie. The crust of the 12 cut pizza is chewy,crispy with adequate salt, sauce is well seasoned and cheese is generous. It isn't exactly the Sicilian pizza I grew up eating but actually, I think it's better. Leftover slices heat up better than thin crust; hubby and I both think pizza is the perfect breakfast.The lettuce in the antipasto salad is always fresh,as are the vegetables and lots of Italian meat and cheese on top. The giardinera is a nice bonus. I took off 1/2 star for the wings which are sometimes a bit overcooked but the hot sauce is tasty. They have never got our order wrong...impressive! read more

I ordered 2 pizza's and a salad. My 1 pizza was burnt, I prefer there 12 cut pizza more on the lighter side. The crust was burnt so I told them that it was over done. The one kid said this is how it always looks and I said no I've had it before where it's lighter not crispy he brings my pizza over to the girl who made it she was very annoyed then they took it over to the owner and she picks it up with her fingers says its not. I said we'll I don't want it it's to done. She's very upset so she tells the girl to make me another one they are all making faces about it. I just read a review of how they would have no problem remaking it, well they had a problem with it but they did remake it. When they handed it off to each other again they whispered and made more faces. I drove an hour and paid over 60 for my dinner and they are mad cause they had to remake it. We have ordered from here constantly for years. More recently with covid. The delivery driver frequently forgets our soda and has to go back and get it. Tonight we ordered food, an hour and a half later we had been charged for the food, the email says it was being prepared, but no food arrived. Finally we called and were told they were short staffed and didn't know when they could deliver it. Worse... the food had been "done" for 15 minutes. So we offered to come pick it up. No apology, no free drink. No discount. The food was being boxed up when we got there as it was stone cold. Lasagna was so cold in the middle it wasn't even worth eating. The quesadilla was gross. The pretzel bites were hard and stale and cold, cheese for the pretzels not even warm. This is unacceptable... if you can't deliver... don't charge the card! Call... explain your situation... see if we still want the food... then give us an approximate time of order completion. Be grateful people order from you.... because you aren't the only people around! You lost our business... we order multiple times a week. you absolutely won't see us again. We stopped in our way back from Thompson's Lake and had pizza. Sausage and mushroom on one half and pepperoni and black olives on the other. We were so pleased. The taste was truly amazing. Great food every time! I've ordered wings and pizza for Superbowl parties. Food was a hit. I ordered last night. I have a greedy teenage son and a picky 11 yr old daughter. I get them each their own pizza. My daughter never likes anything. She ate most of her 4 cut pizza. Half cheese half pineapple. Saved the rest and ate it for breakfast this morning(??!!). This place is a family favorite and its because of a few points. Their pizza is a rectangular style that is somewhat like Sicilian but not as thick crusted. We usually go meat heavy with this one like pepperoni and sausage as there is no health conscious thoughts when ordering from here. In addition they have wings that are pretty good.
