Brick House Tavern + Tap Stopped in with my husband for cheeseburgers and a few pints on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a sports bar, TVs everywhere, plenty of games to watch, and a relaxed vibe. Our server was attentive and friendly, but our two identical burger orders came out more like fraternal twins. One was missing pickles, the other was missing a tomato. Nothing major, but it seems like the kitchen could benefit from a little more quality control to ensure identical orders are prepared consistently. I was also a bit hesitant to enjoy my draft beer because there were several fruit flies making their rounds near our table. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so I was surprised to see that. Overall, it's a fun spot to catch a game and grab a burger, but tightening up the food consistency and addressing the fruit fly issue would make for a much better experience. read more

Decided to try this place because of the above average ratings. All the menu items sounded really good so I tried the deviled eggs as a starter. Instead of the traditional egg yolks, they rely on egg whites, which really took away from the flavor. Not sure why they did that considering the whites tend to give you the impression of being healthier, although the bacon and the rest of the ingredients were far from it. Overall, it was probably the worst tasting deviled eggs I've ever had and was more like wet cardboard. The side dish of sweet potato tater tots sounded good but again did not live up to my impressions after eating similar versions at other restaurants. These seem to be just frozen and microwaved. Even the size were relatively small and a little too uniform. I was really looking forward to the salad because of the various ingredients. I typically request that the salmon be cooked rare, and this one was close to medium rare. While not completely dry, it wasn't as tasty and the portion was small for an extra $10. I had only three medium sized shrimp, although plenty of grilled chicken. And I would estimate only a quarter of an avocado that was sliced pretty thinly. Very small sprinkles of nuts and 2 pieces of the advertised Mandarin oranges and mostly comprised of a lot of lettuce. Pretty poor deal for a $20 salad. Service was friendly, but almost nonexistent. I had to wait to refill my glass of water and was almost done with my meal by that time. She only stopped by once to check on me. With all the number of options nearby, this would not be my first choice. Probably my biggest concern would be in food safety. The serving trays and plates did not look clean. read more

Upon arrival, I immediately thought that this place is definitely a great spot to watch sports because the entire room has a multitude of TVs. How have I missed giving this spot a review- I have eaten here many times, especially after shopping at the outlets. Here are my go to- Fig and Pig flatbread absolutely delicious if you want something filling but not heavy. I also enjoy the nachos which I have shared with my hubby, because it is a lot for one person (in my opinion) or at least for me, lol. If you like deviled eggs, the fried deviled eggs are a favorite of my husband. Duck wings are really tasty, I have enjoyed them a few times and they are great every time the sauce is really good. My husband also loves the classic burger with extra bacon there is a extra charge- but so worth it. I also enjoy the pot pie on cold winter nights it just hits right. As far as drinks go, they make a great Manhattan and the Old Fashioned is made with Woodford Reserve one of my "Go To Bourbon Whiskeys" and it is really nice with a steak, they have a really nice ribeye and it is always cooked perfectly. I had the Crown Apple Mule and I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it was refreshing without being overly apple-ee. I have had many salads here, but I always ask for the honey- lime vinaigrette dressing it is tasty and really goes on any of the basic salads except for the Caesar for obvious reasons, but it is even good, at least for me on the shrimp salad and even when I order the salmon instead of shrimp, its nice. You really can't go wrong with anything here, the menu isn't huge, but what they do, they do well, the staff is really nice and friendly and they pretty much can make any drink you ask for and if you like Bloody Mary's they have them and they are fantastic, I like mine with extra lemon and a bit spicey. read more

Dark and cavernous brew pub chain that offers an excellent cheeseburger and a high volume atmosphere that dares you to shout over the countless TV's blaring sports from ever corner. Remodels here look spare as the place screams 1992 but screaming seems to be your best bet. Like I said, excellent burger and smooth service. An excellent place to sulk if you're a DraftKings loser. So I came here about a decade ago when my kids were small. I gave the experience 3 stars then. Today I give it 4. The food is good. The bartenders were friendly. If you have a large group there are plenty of tables that seat 6+. I am disappointed in the fact that they didn't have any local hard cider on tap. I was in town to see my son perform at a WGI regional event and was looking for dinner since I got back earlier than expected. I sat at the bar since it was just me and ordered a single drunken pork chop (they offer two as well). This was perfect since it was a little later than I like to eat. The bartenders were nice , checking in a few times. The food was great and being able to enjoy a cold one while watching the WBC was great. We arrived around 5/5:30 and were seated immediately in a booth. I didn't even mention I was a Landry's member. Our waitress was great and very attentive. My husband ordered knockout shrimp and I ordered home run apps which was a huge platter made for sharing. His shrimp dish was very good and I had meatballs, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks with spicy marinara and white queso & chips which were all yummy.
