The owner, Sterling, is hands-down one of the most knowledgeable and genuine people you'll ever meet in the collecting world. The store is large and there's always new products being brought in. I enjoy stopping by here to browse around. Looking at all the different toys allows me to find something great for all occasions. There is an amazing selection of stuffed animals, plushies, children's books, dolls, trains, board games, electronics, legos, dresses, figurines, and tons of classic toys from the 90's. The people who work here have really good recommendations if you want some direction. The gift wrapping looks great. They add a ribbon as well. The location is the best. But once you walk to the "front" there is a sign that directs you to the "back" so it's not too hard to find. Once you start heading there, you will spot many helpful signs that may have been missed. Once I got in I was immediately greeted and helped. They have a little shelf with a variety of sleeves. I saw some on the website that I couldn't find in-store but luckily there were able to help me. The tension on the claws seemed far too weak to actually hold onto the prizes. Even when we managed to grab a toy, it would slip right through the claw or fall before making it to the prize chute. I understand that claw machines are supposed to be challenging and you're not going to win every time, but these felt nearly impossible. At first all was good, when we entered there was a couple other kids looking around so we allowed our kids to take a look around as well. My older daughter was having trouble deciding so my three year old son kept tossing around a dog he had decided on. While doing that he dropped it a few times on the floor, where a worker brought that to my attention, understandable, so I placed it in my basket. Finally we had all decided on a jelly cat and my son changed his option to another one I took a look at the dog and he was still in great condition so I put it back. When we were about to pay the cashier bluntly expressed if we would purchasing the dog since my son a dropped it. It wasn't the situation that frustrated me and it was the way I was approached about it. You know what I bought them all because I didn't want to ruin my children's experience that I had hoped would be different. She then tried to be nice about the situation but honestly my husband and me felt uncomfortable. We witnessed another child tossing and licking other stuff animals and left without buying anything, yet here we were buying 3 jelly cats and then almost forced to buy a fourth getting rude customer service. My little brother was playing with one of the Labubu hair products when an employee came up to him and said, "You've had enough fun. Let's not ruin the product." We understood and immediately stopped. After that, though, the employee kept following us around the store, which made us feel very uncomfortable. My brother eventually said, "You don't need to follow us around." The employee then mumbled, "Why don't you shut the f**k up." When my brother asked him what he said, the employee denied it and claimed he was just doing his job. He then asked where our parents were. I called my parents over, and as soon as they arrived, the employee ran into the employee room. When my parents asked about him, another employee claimed she didn't know who we were talking about. This was strange because we had just seen the two employees talking before he went into the back. Another customer who overheard the conversation said they only heard the employee tell my brother not to mess with the products, but that wasn't the issue. The problem was that he followed us around the store and, from what we heard, cursed at my younger brother. I don't know whether he was profiling us, being discriminatory, or simply being rude, but his behavior was completely unprofessional. There was no reason to follow us around the store or speak to a child that way. Customer service like this is unacceptable. For reference, the employee was an older man with a brown beard. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name.
