My wife made the perfect call with the Chicken Fried Chicken, paired with fried okra and their Freedom Fries. Crispy, hearty, and exactly what you want from a comfort meal. Bonus points for serving Pepsi--her favorite--which always scores big in her book. We kicked things off with their house salads, and I've got to call this out... cold plates matter. It's a small touch, but it makes a difference. She went Ranch, I stayed loyal to Blue Cheese (as it should be ). Now for me--I've worked my way through a good portion of this menu over the years, so I like to mix it up. This time I went with the new Bricktown Sampler: * Buffalo Chicken Tenders * Fried Pickles * Fried Green Beans * Pretzel Bites And let's be clear... I swapped the ranch for blue cheese. Because Buffalo + Ranch? Not happening over here. Their blue cheese is legit--creamy, bold, and exactly what those tenders needed. Service was outstanding--Jasmine took great care of us, attentive without hovering and kept everything moving smoothly. We passed on dessert (only because I had other plans lined up), but honestly, it wasn't missed. We came on a Friday evening with a group of 17, but they didn't have enough seating for us, which is completely understandable given how busy it was. The staff was professional, polite, and tried their best to help us, even though they couldn't accommodate such a large party. The brewery itself looks great, and the energy inside is definitely fun and inviting. I would recommend Bricktown Brewery for smaller groups or casual evenings out. I don't like leaving negative reviews but here I am. We had a large group last night and I am more than understanding when mistakes happen. Our wait staff seemed underprepared for us. I ordered a cup of soup, and was brought a bowl. The waiter gave me the bowl and he said we could fix it later. I ordered a taco salad to go, asked for light corn. The person next to me also ordered a taco salad without any modifications and we received two different salads. Theirs had no beans/corn veggie stuff, a bunch of lettuce, some avocado, and a breaded chicken. I was brought what is in the picture. The waitress advised me to check my food to make sure it was right and it didn't have any chicken. I did eat a strip and a half of the chicken while I was waiting for my bill to reflect the correct order, though. I paid $14 for this salad. Lol what!? First visit at this location, just happened to be driving on this side of town. When you enter. You will see a very nice bar that goes in a half circle. We sat to one side in a booth. This location seems alittle newer maybe than one I go to. I ordered my Best Fried Chicken Salad. Chicken was cooked perfect. I did need alot more salad dressing. I love the rasins. Waitress was nice. We are traveling and stopped in OK. Through my trusty YELP APP we found Bricktown Brewery, MidWest City location. Sitting at the bar is always a fun experience. Big Red was our bartender. (That's what the receipt says!) She recommended beers & food based on our taste. Bingo! The Kochendorfer Hef and the HH Old King Kolsch was spot on! Next came the Mango shrimp tacos.They were amazing! Hubby always lets the server choose what he is having. It's just his thing. It makes the experience fun. We had a fun time shooting the sh*t with Big Red. The bar was busy but she managed to juggle serving and engaging in conversation very well. This place has great beer, great food at very reasonable price! What more could you ask for you ask? How about a military discount!?!! The best thing that happened to our family table of six was to get Abigail as our server. She is a superstar!! She handled our large party with ease and expertise. I have rarely received such wonderful service. For appetizers we tried the onion rings and fried avocado slices. It was our first time having fried avocado and hopefully not the last. I highly encourage you to try them. They are a delicious bite of crunchy and creamy goodness with a wonderful dipping sauce. I had the chicken tenders with fried okra and French fries while my husband had the chicken tenders and shrimp. Both were great choices with more food than we could eat but our grandson erased the need for a takeaway box. Speaking of him, he ordered a Cheddar Curd Burger from the seasonal menu. He said it was delicious and didn't leave a morsel. Our granddaughter chose the Bricktown Burger or Bacon Cheddar Burger, I don't remember which. She put a big dent in the plate before passing the rest off to her brother, whose stomach clearly has no bottom. Haha The final two selections were the Bricktown Combination Pizza and the Chicken, Berries and Pecan Salad. Both plates were left clean and the food deemed delicious. I always love coming to bricktown brewery, my favorite thing is Big Mikes Meatloaf, it is seriously so good with the onion straws, the chili sauce, and the bacon wrapped around it! If you like boneless wings I would totally recommend them for an appetizer, they really do give you a ton of wings (roughly 15+?) and they're all perfectly cooked and don't have too much breading like some places. The staff at the location on Memorial are wonderful and always kind as well. read more

The chicken fried steak was well seasoned and the okra cooked perfectly; and yes, there is a right and wrong way to fry with standard fried okra. Its often overcooked. My buddy liked his pizza a lot. It was the meat lovers kind. My Mom had the turkey burger and I'm not usually a fan. She gave me a little piece of the patty and it was juicy and really tasty. First - the greeting on a Saturday later dinner shift was done with a smile from the hostess and promptly we were seated! Our Server (forgot name) fantastic job she did... She did get my kolsch beer & wife's margarita lightning quick and sipping away into bliss we go... We decided on the cheese curds for an appetizer and oh my goodness....best decision ever!!!! I'm just sad I slept on this place for so long because it is fantastic. My husband and I LOVED the breakfast burger here. We shared it but next time we will each be getting our own. The hash brown patty was crisp and delicious and the egg with the sweet peppered bacon complimented the beef perfectly. The fries were fresh and we got the burger sauce on the side for dipping. Come here for the chicken pot pie and happy hour between 3 to 6 because you can get a house brew for $3.50 which is unheard of in California. Overall, the service was great, and the food was good. I went with my fiancé and her parents this evening. She was really looking forward to the dinner because she is gluten free and loves the gluten free bun in their burgers. To start off, the diet Dr Pepper was Insanely sweet and almost undrinkable. She also got a dirty water glass with old food and unknown stuff in the glass. The next part was very frustrating and honestly unacceptable . Someone other than our waitress brought out her burger. On first glance my fiance said the bun didn't look gluten free and told the lady this. She responded by saying it absolutely is GF. We kindly asked to go back and make sure. She ends up coming back and says that it wasn't actually gluten free. That's not only dangerous health wise, but also that's scary to think the staff is lying about stuff like that. Instead of taking the burger and bringing out a new one right away, they brought just a bun with no burger, then finally brought the burger out as well. Except the burger had all of the fixings and sauce that she explicitly asked to be taken off. The series of events was straight up unacceptable. Our waitress was very apologetic and kind, so our main concern is with the kitchen and whoever tried to rage bait us about the bun. I had the parents split a dinner order of Mike's Meatloaf and it was excellent as usual. Ordered takeout of a Cobb salad with no egg but extra dressing. My salad was ready promptly when I arrived and I checked the order. It had double egg and a single side of dressing. "Okay I'll pick off the egg" not a deal breaker. But once I got back and opened my salad, almost all the ice burg lettuce was brown and old. Horrible bummer bc the rest of the salad was fantastic. Took the little here on Friday night because we are trying to get him to try new things to eat, since I'm tired of going to the same 3 places to eat with his limited dietary choices. From pictures others posted I knew we probably would get him to eat the chicken tenders at the very least. He was not disappointed and he absolutely LOVED the chicken and the fries. I tasted the chicken myself, and though I am not a big fan of anything fried, found it tender and very tasty. I had the Hatch chili burger because I was just too hungry to figure out what to eat. The burger was tasty and satisfying, although the bun could have been slightly more toasted so it did not get soggy so soon. I want a fan of the tortilla strips on the burger as they were really hard and crunchy - but that's just my take on it. The place was hopping with activity and clientele. I have had great customer service experience in the past but this place took it to another level. The bartender was attentive and friendly, would ask if anything was needed at the right time. She said she has only been a bartender of a couple of weeks but seemed like a few years to me. Great multitasking. The manager was willing to help to insure customers got serviced quickly when needed and freindly as while. The waiter went out of their way to assist directing me to the restroom. Ohh, and the food was good to.. very tasty. My only complaint would be the portion size is too big, but is that really a complaint? My boyfriend and I went in on September 2nd around 5pm, server greeted us, gave her our drink order, she asked about appetizers while we're agreeing which one we want she just walks off. Comes back later gets our food order, we both order salmon I asked for sweet potato fries in substitute of mashed potatoes, my boyfriend gets green beans in substitute of broccoli. After she took our order she disappeared for a while, we wanted to order off the brew list, looking around can't find her anywhere, finally she comes back at 5:50, asks if we're ready to tab out, we haven't even gotten our food yet, we are ordering our drinks, food comes out and there's a hair in my man's food, I got the wrong side. She says she'll get the manager, 25 minutes later he finally comes after having to ask him to come over (Mind you it's a Monday, they're not even that busy) he seems like he couldn't care less, comps both our meals after saying he'll take all the food off. We still paid for our appetizer and drinks, which is fine. Our bill was $26 I gave her $31 and while she's walking away we hear, "oh wow they actually tipped" I work as a server in the service industry, while yes I tipped I planned on tipping so much more. So I had the salmon with blueberry sauce and broccoli. The salmon was perfect. The blueberry sauce was not a "sauce" and more of some chopped apples,with blueberries,some seasonings, and spicy seasonings. I think I would have loved it if it weren't to spicy. Hello again we found ourselves for the happy hour pizza at Bricktown brewery last night. Bunnell thinking about my bill, I don't think it was half-price LOL. It was $51 for two pizzas, a dessert and three beers for the boyfriend. Oh well... Anyway, onto the review! It's only four stars because I would like to see them extend their menu a bit. Besides a salad, I think the only vegan option is the black bean burger. I chose to eat the cauliflower pizza with all veggies and it was amazing.
