Cool, the server was super happy and was going to fix it. But wait there's more... the MANAGER came out to us aggressively at our table talking demeaningly and only addressing my minor teen. I can't complain about this place, we will definitely be back! My wife and I were looking for a place to eat on your average Wednesday afternoon and we stumbled in BB. We live in the Brookside area but we hadn't tried out BB yet, it never looked too busy and so we never went. Today, we decided to go inside and the setting was good! We sat at the bar and the bartender was great, very friendly and helpful. We had a beer each for $4.50 and shared a huge plate of wings for just $6 (it was half price). Great place to watch sports! We enjoy watching college and NFL football, but it's so difficult to find a place to gather with friends and watch all the games at the same time. Bricktown Brewery on Brookside is perfect for exactly this! Lots of TVs with great variety/different games playing. The cheese curds are awesome! Quite greasy, makes my tummy hurt if I eat too many, but dangerously good. I typically try to compensate for the curds with the kale and quinoa salad, which is very good with or without chicken. The biscuits during brunch are amazing! I'm not a fan of gravy, and unfortunately ordering one biscuit is almost the same price as two biscuits covered in gravy, so I can't justify ordering them often. Sad face. I'm pretty indifferent to the Bricktown beers. Nothing exciting, all kinda low point/session style, pretty basic. But they have a full bar with other beer options on tap. The service is hit or miss (unfortunately more miss than hit). We've had some good servers recently though. I think our problem is that we like to stay to watch at least a full game, which is usually like 4 hours, and I don't think the servers like campers. I was dining at this location on Sunday evening when i experienced an interaction that left me disgusted with this place and its management. I saw this server Alana dealing with a party of men upstairs and overheard from other servers around me that they were saying vulgar and obscene things to her leaving her visibly uncomfortable. I thought management would take care of it after I saw servers helping Alana throughout the situation. I was wrong. Alana then went and got the manager, a bald guy with extremely red skin, hoping to resolve the situation for her. She went upstairs with the manager, the manager came down without her laughing, and the server Alana came down almost in tears. It's absolutely appalling that this poor girl was being sexually harassed publicly and when she went to get help from the man who's supposed to help, he did nothing. Management needs to be replaced immediately with someone who can value their employees and ACTUALLY do their job. read more

They have good options if you are looking for a local craft beer - and remember: always drink locally! - but for me the high point here is the food! Our server was Lorenzo. He was simply amazing! He knew the menu and the extensive beers they offered. He gave a list of the local favorite food choices. I had Big Mike's Meatloaf. Wow! I had Mac n cheese and it phenomenal - a must have. My husband had a very solid chicken-fried steak. Lorenzo brought us several samples of other types of beers just to try. One of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. Every single dish is incredible. My personal favorites are the Nachos and Boom Boom Shrimp appetizers. They also have a wide selection of locally brewed beers. The restaurant has a nice patio and comfortable inside seating, perfect to watch a game as they have plenty (maybe too many) TVs. The manager had to change 3 times to make sure it was the right channel but that wasn't his fault. Bad scheduling. The fact that he did that, coupled with the service from our server being top notch is a huge win for me! If I'm grading service it's 5 stars! Unfortunately, that's not all I'm grading. The food was just not that great! I'll start with the good. The boneless wings were not full of breading! The were cooked well and mostly chicken! Great buffalo sauce, and when mixed with the mustard dipping sauce, which in and of itself was phenomenal, it was a great bite! Best thing was the okra though! Man it's like candy! Cooked well. Not too much breading or oil. Good crunch. Just what you want from fried Okra! Well done here! If you're going to have mac and cheese ok the menu, do it right! It's gotta be CHEESY and CREAMY! This was not that. It honestly felt like glorified easy mac. The cole slaw had no flavor and needed pepper. The green beans were not cooked well and bland! The broccoli was overcooked and also bland. I understand that a sports bar may not he known for veggies, but if it's not good take it off the menu. Overall it was an up and down night. Great service. A few good options. But all around the food could have all been better, except maybe the okra, and there was nothing that made me want to come back. I am updating my review based on my latest visit. The food is delicious so I would give 4-5 stars for the food itself. The 2 stars is for the service and the wrong bill total. I placed a to-go order and paid with a gift certificate. They gave me a total of $23 and some change so I gave them the $25 gift certificate. No change was given but it wasn't a big deal with the total of the bill. After I left as I drove home, I thought the total bill was really high for a sandwich and a cup of soup. I called them back about the bill total and they apologized that they gave me the wrong total, which should have been $16 and change. They then said no change is given with a paper gift certificate, so I said why was nothing said when I gave them a $25 gift certificate if no change would be given or the balance written on the certificate. She said I could come back and they could reopen the check so I could pay with a card or cash and get the gift certificate back. I'm already almost home by that point, so if I returned to get the bill corrected, my food would have been cold and eaten soggy fries instead. So I chose to eat food that would be hot and forgo the bill. I'm more annoyed that due to their incorrect bill total they told me, I would be the one who has to go out of my way for their mistake. My husband Kenneth and I came here for lunch recently and we both ordered burgers. He chose the Double Bricktown Burger with fries and I ordered the Bricktown burger cheese and mustard only with fries. We both got Dr Pepper's. Our food came out hot and quick. This place is awesome! every single facet- decor, food and service! They have a large menu and the several things we had were all outstanding. But the beer is where this place REALLY shines- a great selection of drafts, some local and very good, plus they give you a taste if you're not sure. So these reviews about poor service must be written by sad, angry unreasonable people. The bartender Kaz was terrific and all the other server/customer interactions I witnessed were terrific. Everyone is working hard to ensure you have a great time. Manager's are trying to make sure every customer sees "their team" play. And the staff is kind to each other which is also a plus. The food is really good. This is a brewery with their own, local and other fantastic beer. I couldn't have had a better experience and will have to come back to try more things from the menu and other beers. Love this place and love it more that I can walk here from my house. Bricktown has been an incredible addition to Brookside for a lot of reasons. I love their happy hour and late night happy hour specials, and the menu is HUGE. Seriously you could eat there for a month and not have the same thing twice. There are a lot of TVs for watching sports both indoors and on the patio, and though the place is always busy, even later at night, I've never had to wait on a table. My personal favorites on the menu are the pretzel sticks appetizer, served with delicious hot beer cheese, and the black bean veggie burger, which has an amazing burger sauce on it and the french fries are skinny and salt and perfectly cooked! One word of warning--basically all the dishes here are HUGE, especially the apps, so make sure you bring some friends to share with! read more

I have gone twice so far and both times food was amazing. The first time service was amazing, our server (male, long hair, can't remember his name) was amazing!! Super enthusiastic and energetic. He recommended beers, drinks, apps, food, the works! He was very patient with us cause we were there to watch a baseball game and honestly sat there for so long. I would for sure come back just to see him! The second time our server was a girl and she was not the nicest. She didn't know the menu, we asked about certain dishes and she said "honestly everything here except the pizza sucks", rushed us for food and drinks, and just dropped off the checks without saying anything mid way through our meal. I am kind of surprised at how much I like this place every time I go. I know it is a local chain but it kind of presents just like a lot of other places. But they have a great wine and beer menu that isn't overly expensive and also I really like some of their house made beers. I ordered the Yardbird and it never has disappointed me. Juicy and mustardy and full of mushroom goodness. My friend and I also shared an Iceberg wedge salad. They were very nice to split up our sandwich and the Fantastic housemaid chips they have there. They carry my favorite Willamette Riesling and I had two glasses to celebrate the end of camp. I will definitely go here again and it is on my short list of fun and easy restaurants! read more

I've had this place on my list to try for far too long so when my date suggested it, I was more than ready to take the plunge. Upon parking in the lot behind the restaurant situated at the northern start of Brookside and walking up, we noticed a small second story patio with cozy looking seating and no tables. At first I thought it was odd, but when I walked inside and realized they have an entire upstairs area, patio included, dedicated to smokers called the smoking room it all made sense. All that to say if you know someone who smokes, this would be a cool hangout spot to suggest to them. In the front of the restaurant is a bungalow style patio where you can dine and enjoy the Brookside ambiance. The decor inside is kind of rustic urban with exposed brick walls, exposed piping on the cieling, and hues of gray. This would be a great place to come eat outside when the weather is nice. The local beer selection is amazing, and I will be back to partake of some brews for sure. Came here with my heart set on trying a burger. I had the turkey burger and it did not disappoint. Very good flavor and the burger sauce that comes with it was so good I asked for an extra side for fry dipping. I had the sweet potato fries which were pretty good but not my favorite; I think next time I would stick with the salt and pepper fries. Service was pretty good too. After visiting the Brookside Bricktown Brewery location several times and enjoying a black bean burger, today I was informed that the black bean burger is not vegan. Despite confirming several times in the past that it was vegan. The manager informed me that it has eggs and dairy. He was great in helping me formulate a new game plan. It resulted in an excellent salad with chili beans and garbanzo beans with a balsamic vinaigrette. He also informed me that in July they will have a vegan burger. Maybe then I will have to get it in writing that it is in fact fact a vegan burger. read more
