Briggs looks like the authentic, more local version of an Applebees or Fridays. Service was friendly and food came out fairly quickly. (+) The amount of toppings that they squeeze onto each square inch of pizza is amazing - some of it can be described as 'piled on' (+) they will let you go "half and half" with your toppings - we did one half house special (every meat you can name) and one half four cheese - both great choices (+) Amazing number of choices for pizza, with creative toppings and sauces (alfredo, BBQ, etc.) - even one w/ fries as a topping (-) Seated near the window and felt a bit of a draft. Wasn't too bad, but we're hearty folk. If you're temperature sensitive, might want to sit elsewhere (-) The pizza is carried by the toppings, which are great. But the dough on its own doesn't stand out - bites of crust did not result in the usual 'yum' feeling that i expect (+) also offer take out - this would be fantastic football-watching pizza Would certainly head back for seconds, and more importantly, can't wait to eat the leftovers currently residing in my fridge. read more

Every single time you order - at least you know what to expect: A semi-rude young girl who answers the phone and that your order will have something wrong with it. I literally can not comprehend how tonight's issue was my steak and cheese sub not having cheese on it. How does that even happen? My boyfriend loves the calzones, so on occasion we order food from Brigg's, although I think they are just a grease sponge. All of the apps are just frozen items you'd buy at Sam's Club and reheat. Our dining experience twice this week (12/27/20-01/01/21) was the worst with a rude female hostess and rude male host! We dine here 2-3 times a week but will no longer be coming here! Management is a joke and the position is clearly given to highly incompetent people. If you call and complain about your order they brush it off and could care less. We just stopped by the other day for lunch and we haven't been here since prior to the pandemic. It looks like they have done some renovations and added an outdoor seating area. The menu has changed, and in my honest opinion not for the better. This used to be a great spot to get a big dish of pasta with salad but they replaced much of their items with typical burgers and sandwiches. Salad no longer included. We both felt the dishes we ordered were cheapened versions of what we had received before here at Briggs. I'd love to say it's the pandemic but so much has changed here that it's really hard to say. This place has gone wayyy down hill. The wait staff is always moody. (Probably way overworked & under paid). The food quality is sub par. I used to order once a week. Why pay premium prices when you can get a better pie from Dominos..... The "owner" greets you at the door and it's low key creepy. i don't even want to give a star, but I have to. i came in at 9:00 on a Sunday, sat at the bar and waited to capture the bartenders attention. after a minimum of 5 minutes I asked for a menu and a drink. when I attempted to order the bartender said let me see if the kitchen is still open, mind you it was 9:05 and she had given me a menu. she returned stating the kitchen was closed, and I asked to speak to a manager. the bartender informed me that there was no manager so I walked to the host stand where I was pleasantly greeted and told why "yes, I will go get the manager." then the owner appeared and told me I could have whatever I wanted and that the kitchen was open until 9:30. after returning to the bar after speaking with the owner, I returned to the bar and ordered a bud light to which the bartender stated she would not serve me because I was drunk.mind you, I was far from drunk, and the bartender refused to serve me but served all of my friends. then, the food order which was placed by the owner was delivered and the fries came out on a dine in plate so I asked for a box to which the bartender said she refused to deal with me. i looked around and saw a stack of take out boxes and took one. then, the kitchen "manager" came out and said that the kitchen closed at 9 and he didn't like that we ordered food at 9:05 So I said I thought there wasn't a manager on and he said he wasn't one so we said stop yelling at us. Not a good experience. Food was severely under portioned but that was the least of our troubles. The waitress was terrible. She looked like she was high on drugs and was completely incompetent. She not only forgot one of our party's orders but literally serviced people and gave them their food when we were there first and were waiting for her to get her act together. Ordered takeout online. Pulled up to window. Gave girl my takeout#. She handed me 3 bags & closed the window. That's when I said, "look, you just handed me a couple bags, shut the window & walked away" "You didn't tell me the order WAS NOT complete & for me to wait a minute for the rest." I think one would assume that since she didn't say something like..the rest of your order is just about ready, hold on. After she handed me a couple more bags, I decided to look thru them. I had ordered wings with blue cheese. There was no blue cheese , so I told her. She slammed the window & walked to get it. Handed it to me. I looked at her & said "is my order complete?" Very nasty, she say "yeah", slammed the window & walked away. Guess what...I'll never order from there again. I ordered pickles & hots on my sub. Not 1 pickle & no hots. I've been here a few times and really like their pizza. I've tried the shrimp scampi which didn't have much flavor. I recently tried a veggie wrap, which had potential, but too much dressing made it soggy and it fell apart. I'll stick to the pizza! I ordered a Steak & cheese sandwich as well as mozzarella sticks for a take out order. The total came to $17.87 and that is what I paid. Once I went home, I realized the order was wrong and I received a Steak & cheese sandwich with French fries. No big deal. I was hungry so I ate it. The total on the kitchen slip was $13.59 for the sandwich and fries. It was late, so I didn't bother calling the restaurant because I live relatively close and I had receipts so I didn't think it was urgent. I had plans to stop in on my way home from work the next day, which I did. Upon going to the take out counter, I was greeted by the hostess and she took my receipts and I explained to her what happened. She relayed the information of what happened to a manager, who was a blonde woman. That manager told me I should have called the same night since the restaurant was open until 11 PM and that it was too late to fix that, even though I had given her itemized receipts showing what I paid for and the order that was given to me. I found that unreasonable, considering I have been in the restaurant industry myself for about 8+ years and I too have been part of the management team, so I told her I was not going to pay for something I did not receive. She then responded that "you can't come in here and tell me what I'm going to do." She was not going to give me a refund simply for the fact that I told her I was not going to pay for something I did not receive. She told me too bad and walked away from me. I stood there a minute a little dumbfounded and angry. Things did get heated because I felt I was being treated poorly and it was a very simple request for a $4 refund. I walked over to the other manager who I am assuming is either the owner or the GM. The blonde woman was going on and on to him and every single staff member that walked by in the kitchen, maybe 10 other people at least, servers, cooks, food runners, other kitchen staff, and was bad mouthing and pointing at me telling everyone about our conversation. Never in my life have I been treated this way in a restaurant, especially from someone who is a 'manager.' I certainly voiced my opinion to the GM, who was a little distraught since it was the evening dinner rush, and he barely acknowledged that I deserved that difference in the pricing. The blonde woman kept interfering and was trying to continue the argument with me until I said "please go away" and asked the man if I could speak with him alone. I explained to him what I received vs. what I ordered and gave him those receipts. We walked towards a computer, so I thought it was going to be taken care of at that time but then he asked me to come back the next day after 11:30 for the refund since it was busy. I understand it was busy and that may have not been convenient during the dinner rush, however it seemed as if he was dismissing me and didn't quite care. To be frank, I don't want to ever step foot in that restaurant ever again after that treatment. I am 27 years old and feel I was discriminated against and not taken seriously due to my age. A bit quirky with greeter at the door always surveying the place but the pizza is very good, about 1/4" thick light crispy bottom crust, tasty sauce unlike any I've had anywhere else. Great greek salad, fresh and large enough to share a small. The Portuguese calamari is also excellent, a good portion of tender rings fried and covered in a slightly spicy Mozambique style sauce. Alright so recently my girlfriend and I decided to try Briggs corner. We were looking for good Buffalo chicken and our quest took us here. Upon entering we waited for a about a minute before a woman who was texting on her phone came over to bring us to a table. Ok I get it. It's 2016 people are glued to the phones. A few minutes later our waitress came over. She seemed very polite to the other tables but apparently knew my girlfriend. What began as almost a two hour ordeal she was very rude and unprofessional to my girlfriend but polite to me. The drink I got was great and we ordered some buffalo chicken as an appetizer. When she came to bring over the silverwear she just dropped it at the edge of the table and walked on. We got our buff chick and it was fantastic. Right there ends our great dinner. After that we waited 45 minutes for our entrees to be brought out. Now in this time several other tables were seated and got meals. So i'm going to assume this waitress just wanted to annoy us. I ordered the veal parm and she ordered a salmon burger. After waiting and waiting and waiting our food came out. This waitress spilt half the french fries from my girlfriends entree onto the table and just said "whoops" in the most sarcastic tone ever. My veal parm was actually eggplant parm. I tried to get the wait staff's attention but the entire gaggle of them were hanging out near the register thing texting and playing on cell phones. I eventually got up found our waitress who was on facebook on her cell phone while working told me that I had indeed ordered eggplant parm. (honestly I love eggplant but Briggs corner obviously uses frozen unskinned trash quality eggplant) After going back and forth she finally looks at the computer and says the veal will be right out. Now cooking veal is not a quick process. However about five minutes later a disgusting brown piece of veal is brought out to me. Veal should be white or pink not brown. Absolutely disgusting. Almost two hours into our meal she comes back again and I ask for a check. Now there was only 2-3 other people dining at this point but it took her about 15 minutes to bring back the check. They would not give me a discount or comp my entree or messing up my order then bringing me a disgusting piece of veal that is not fit for human consumption. I will not dine at this establishment again. I will tell everyone I know not to dine at this establishment again. 2/10 and the two is for the buffalo chicken. read more

One of my favorite places for a quick bite. Their salads are my favorite, as they're delicious and hefty. The calamari is great. Skip the fried pickles. The cheesy garlic breadsticks serve as the yummiest white-base pizza; don't skip out on this! The actual pizza is mediocre. Their seasonal drinks are delicious and inventive. Minor problems with food orders or quality can be expected on the rare occasion in a popular townie pizza joint, but when Their errors are not recognized, customer satisfaction is bound to reflect it. Forget trying to alter a menu item...Returned the completely wrong sandwhich without a single "sorry about that". Orders have been "lost" or "no record of it" - even though an order number and specification of "drive-thru" pick up was emphasized by a nice, young-sounding staff member. A little kindness and accountability can go a long way. The staff members are most-likely high schoolers/college students that show little interest in their job or the products they are hired to sell. Example: I inquired about a dessert tart in their case and was literally told "it's some sort of Greek dessert". Yeah- sold.
