Beautiful jewelry. Horrible customer service. This was about 3 months ago. I walked in with my boyfriend and we were profiled for our looks. Mind you, we are both alternative people with piercings and tattoos and my boyfriend is black. As soon as we started to walk towards the store two employees rush towards us, but did not say anything, creating a hostile welcoming. As I was browsing the necklaces, a lady approached me asking me if I am looking for anything specific. I told her that I am looking for jewelry and that I was excited to be in the store since it was my first time. She paused and stopped smiling, looking at her coworker, said okay and walked away. Very rude and unprofessional. She could've made a sale but instead decided to create an unwelcoming environment for me and my boyfriend. I decided to take my business elsewhere after that interaction. I absolutely adore Brightons jewelry so I hope the next time I come in, I will not be profiled for my looks and treated rudely. read more

I called this store and the lady who answered the phone today, 4:30pm, July 2nd asking me for what specific item i'm looking for i said I was asking if they have a catalog for my friend she asked what specific or item number i'm looking for i said a watch and she asked me do you have the item number i said that's why i'm asking for a catalog so my griend could check it. She asked menagain for the item number. OMG she cannot comprehend that I'm asking for a copy of a catalog so my friend can browse the catalog and choose. The rancho store has the most rude staff. Only one person in there is nice, Marina is the only nice friendly person. Not sure how the manager got her position she has zero people skills. The chino store is the best. Is so sad I have to go so far to enjoy shopping at Brighton. read more

Love shopping here! The ladies are always helpful & years ago, they would follow me to suggest things but now they recognize me & let me arrange charms for my bracelets. I love their system because it saves all my purchases and purges any surprise purchases He might buy for me so there is record of them. They have great company policy on warranty, returns or exchanges. I had to return a bracelet one time & no questions asked! read more

I had been looking for a particular pair of earrings that had been sold out online and in stores for months. After a couple months Sales Partner Joani was able to find them and she called me! Was not expecting to ever be able to get the earrings and was pleasantly surprised when Joani called to tell me the store had one pair in stock. Don't get me wrong, I Love Brighton's designs, But, if something breaks or comes apart, like my belt (twice) and a couple barrettes and a ponytail holder, prepare for a long wait. On 8/15/19, I brought in a pair of sandals that started to come apart after only 2 months. It's 9/30/19 and I still don't have them back. In fact, the sales associate couldn't even find out where they were!!! 6 weeks!! The shoe repair shop in town would've taken 3 Days!!! Sandal season is over!! So, think twice.... read more

Visited the store today, 2/10/18. I was going to purchase a necklace. I decided to try on a ring. I asked the sales associate, heavy set lady, to help me and she did not want to help. She said she needed to help someone else. Not sure who that was as no one was near us. She made me feel very uncomfortable, racially discriminated, and penniless. I had a necklace that I was going to purchased and told the new sales associate what happened. She appolizied on behalf of the store. I showed her all the Brighton jewelry I was wearing (earrings, watch, bracelet, and necklace). Apparently I could afford to shop their being a minority. Management needs to provide diversity training. I will report this to the corporate office. read more

I went in the store looking to purchase a necklace & a few other pieces. The sales associates were rude & didn't acknowledge me. When I asked for help I was ignored. I then said to the woman that I'd ask someone else for help, it was at that point she answered my question. I am a younger woman with brown skin & curly hair. I definitely felt I was racially profiled as they were speaking with other customers who had straight hair, light skin & were more dressed up than I was. One associate was staring at me as I was browsing; watching me as if I was going to slip a piece of jewelry in my pocket & steal it. I'm very disappointed as I am a long time customer. Every associate in the store are attentive, and assist by asking how they can help me find what I am looking for. They take the time to show me various choices, teach me on how to mix and match the pieces according to my desired look. I went there to buy one item.", but end up buying several items. I'm sorry to say that my experience at Brighton which was supposed to have been a happy experience because my husband and I were shopping for my wedding anniversary gift ended up being very disappointing. Our reps name shown on my receipt was Annemarie. As nice as she sounded, she was aggressive and judgmental regarding my choices and in my personal life which she had no right to do. I thought I would've been over it by today, but I'm not. Again that will remain a bad memory because it was a special day for us. I bought a Valentine's Day gift for my girlfriend here, the sales lady was very accommodating, genuine and even gave me her input on what I should buy since I don't have a single solitary clue. I visit this location several times a year. All the ladies are friendly, helpful and excellent sales staff. I am only giving 3 stars due to the fact that recently they made a mistake that cost me a return trip and I waited to see how they would handle it. I was helped by an associate, I told her what I selected and wanted to keep looking, she said she would place the item at the register for me. I continued to look around. When I was finished & went to the register she was busy but another associate was ready and could ring me up. She asked who helped me and I told her what I picked out. She returned & wrapped up a charm and I paid & the store. When I got home and opened the packaging I discovered I had the wrong item. I called, spoke to Gabby and she apologized and set aside the correct item for me. When I returned to exchange the associate apologized and the manager took over. I had to pay a small difference as I was originally charged for the wrong item. Personally if I caused a customer to have to come back because of my or my staffs mistake I would have gone above and beyond to do something to accommodate my customer, my time is valuable and as a customer that should be acknowledged. I also believe it would be best practice for staff to show the customer the product and verify the item prior to wrapping it up. 3 stars because there's a little room for improvement. read more

My first visit to this store will be my last!!!! There were 3 employees on the floor one working the register and the other two looked like they were watching for someone to steal something. I stood in line for 15 minutes mind you the woman at the register was waiting on someone. I was the only person in line. One of the other employees tells me "your next" like I'm a moron! Then a woman walks up from behind and the employee says " Jody are you ready?" And waits on her. Then I tried to pay with a Victoria's Garden gift card and the 3 of them couldn't decide if the register I was at would except the gift cards. A manager comes from the back and by the time I moved to another register I was in line 35 minutes. They had to run the gift cards separately and print receipts for me to sign. The jewelry in itself is beautiful here but what impressed me the most was the customer service. I walked in today to see what I wanted for Mother's Day and Marylou helped me as soon as I walked in. I asked a lot of questions and she was more than helpful and what she didn't know she found out for me right away. What impressed me the most was that what I was interested in, she mentioned that if I waited to purchase it tomorrow, I would receive the earrings for free. Who can pass up on offer like that!?! I really like this store at Victoria Gardens! The sales clerks are always friendly and helpful! I never have a problem finding jewelry I like. My husband likes to take me here to shop for special occasions when he doesn't know what to get me. They often have specials where you get free earrings with the purchase of a necklace! Went to Victoria Gardens Brighton store the other day. Usually, someone acknowledges you when you enter and offers to help you. Neither of these things happened. The two clerks were chatting with each other even though I was waiting for assistance with the charms. Meanwhile, another woman walked in and immediately, the clerks stopped chatting, welcomed her and offered to help her. The one lady asked me to excuse her so she could show the customer the charms that I myself had been waiting to be helped on. I stood there for a moment in disbelief that the customer service could be so lousy that they would ignore me and ask me to step aside so they could show the other lady who came in several minutes after me the charms. I walked away. She said, "Oh, you can look too. " I left the store. I have since complained to customer support more than 2 days ago and have heard nothing back. Not even an apology. I don't think the two clerks think they did anything wrong. They looked at me and my young daughter like we were the ones with a problem. I had planned out all the charm gifts I was going to give for graduations, summer, upcoming birthdays and was ready to give them a lot of business. I had already purchased my daughters, nieces and myself charm bracelets for the Christmas holidays and was going to add to everyone's collection. Not sure what to do now. Right now, I do not want to give Brighton my business. Despite the convenience of the store, I will not be shopping there anymore. It is a shame, because I really did like Brighton. Great place to be ignored. Rancho Cucamonga store at Victoria Gardens is not the store for customer service. I was looking for an item that I could not locate in the store. After I chased a salesperson around to get an answer I was given a one sentence curt reply. The product is not carried at that location. There was a bag available with purchase that I was interested in but could not qualify because the purchase could not be made in the store. I wasn't offered another product. I was just ignored. I inquired at Brighton customer care and I was told that THE MANAGER COULD HAVE ORDERED THAT PRODUCT FOR ME TO PICK UP AT HE STORE AND QUALIFY FOR THE BAG!!!!!!.So much for customer service. read more
