We visited Brio for dinner in celebration of a birthday. The restaurant staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. First of all, let me explain how we discovered brio some years ago. We went to Cheese cake factory and had a huge line, so we decided to try the Niro that was right in front. I'm glad we did that, brio it's like Italian restaurant, they do offer complementary bread (this visit was a bit overcooked) with butter. I love carpaccio and here in United States it isn't easy to find. I had the carpaccio as entree (nice size and just 19 bucks). My toddler and wife shared an pesto pasta with breaded chicken with cheese on top. The chicken was really nice but the pasta was way too salty. Arrived on a Sunday morning at 1030am right when it opened and it was dead. We came here mostly because it was convenient as we were in the area that day to run an errand. We also came here because it was on the InKind app The server was great. The food came out super slow. We ordered the steak and eggs and it was good but the portion size was so small (see pics attached). The Tuscan scrambler was a more generous portion size but lacked flavor. It's been two years since my last review and I have been having consistently great experiences at Brio's. I went yesterday evening and used my InKind promotion. I was greeted immediately and sat in a table near the mall fountains. I had an excellent old fashioned drink for 15 dollars. It was strong, boozy, and just amore! For my entree, the shrimp and scallop risotto (35 dollars) is my favorite. The risotto was cooked nicely with mushrooms and bay scallops with truffle oil, bringing the excellent flavors. The 3 shrimps could have been a bit more tender, but still grilled nicely. For dessert, the creme brulee (11 dollars) was rich and creamy. The vanilla bean specks were a nice addition. After my meal and drink, I am pretty sure I gained an extra pound or two. The service was good and helpful. It can be a little slow and busy sometimes, so good to bring a little patience. However, my server gave updates on my food and drinks when I was waiting. I love outdoor seating of the mall area, which I can enjoy the noise of the chit chats from the people, and the splashing waters from the fountains. I find Brio's to be a great Italian chain. While the prices are expensive, you can get good deals sometimes during Magical Dining and InKind promotion. I will continue to take advantage of those deals, especially with the great food and drinks inside Millenia Mall. read more

We've been here a few years back and this is the first time returning. Located inside Millenia Mall we had reservations and were seated immediately in a corner area. Our order was taken, appetizer of fried calamari was disappointing since there were more fried batter than calamari. I had the chicken francese which was ok. This review is specifically for the Thanksgiving Feast offered on Thanksgiving Day. If you are looking at taking a break from cooking and cleaning, I recommend this experience 110%. I made reservations in advance. There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. The mall was closed. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right away. They offered the Thanksgiving menu and regular menu. The restaurant was pretty busy but our drinks and food came out within reasonable amount of time. It was a generous portion that included turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and your choice of dessert from 3 options. Drinks/cocktails are available at an additional charge. Our server, Keishla, was attentive and patient when taking our order. Checked in our table consistently. What a lovely restaurant for a family dinner! We actually celebrated a birthday here and the service did not disappoint. Friendly staff and waiter! I was so excited to finally return here for happy hour. Most of the happy hour deals were eight dollars for food and drinks plus it was Wednesday so I got a seven dollar glass of Pinot Grigio. All the food was really good, especially the beef carpaccio and the sauce that came with the shrimp and eggplant. I was disappointed about my shrimp and eggplant portion size. You can see from the picture. I only received three shrimp. I know in Charlotte we used to receive at least six shrimp. I'm not sure if this is a special happy hour portion or if it's their new portion size for this appetizer. I don't think I would order it again. The second reason for us coming here was that I had an in-app coupon through inKind for $20 off a purchase of $40. Unlike most Brio coupons, you can use this for menu items that you receive other discounts for. It's basically a way you pay your bill instead of using a credit card or cash. We ended up ordering well over $40 but when we went to pay the bill, the inKind app system was not working. The bartender told us that they also were not able to accept any coupons or other discounts for the last couple days. I was so disappointed since that was one of the reasons we came. We still got a good deal but I don't think I would be back unless I called to confirm they accept inKind for payment in the future. read more

I love how inside a house both a bar where you can sit at, as well as outdoor seating, and indoor seating. My husband and I both prefer to sit inside, as it is cozy and not super bright. It feels just appropriate after a busy and hustling shopping experience. As a meal, I had the shrimp appetizer, which was served over a sweet potato mash. What was odd however is that the shrimp or rather uniform, so some were very small while others were just the right size. It, however, was enough to satisfy my hunger. Their service is friendly and casual and this location is very family oriented as they are in the mall. They offer bread and butter as you sit down. Best place for pasta that I have tried so far. It is a little pricey but the pasta tastes so good and cooked well. I've ordered their "Pasta Brio" but through Uber Eats. It was really yummy and filling. First time dining in, we got seated right away. I had the "Pasta Alla Vodka" which looked kind of tiny but filled me up (especially with the complimentary bread). The ricotta filled pasta was cooked perfectly, good textures and flavors! I also ordered the lobster bisque which was pretty average but still delicious. Our waitress was kind enough to give us more bread after seeing how much we liked to dip it in the lobster bisque. Came here for dinner with a friend a few nights ago, and had a sub-par experience and probably won't be back. We were sat right away; and waited for a while - then finally someone came over and said our server had to use the restroom and she would help and get our waters. She brought them; then we waited more and our server finally came over - she took our drink orders then left without letting us put our meals in. We waited longer - I got an espresso martini, she brought them over and immediately left workout taking our meal order. The martini was average, tasted pretty dark compared to others I've had. I got their recommended pasta and chicken dish, that was the highlight of the meal. The server visited once to check in but her attitude was pretty dry and not friendly so I didn't want to engage much. It honestly felt like she didn't want to serve us. It took a while for her to come back and we finally got our checks, which was the quickest service she gave us all night. I've visited a few times now in order to try multiple dishes and make a fair conclusion. The wedge is awesome. The calamari is perfect. The gorgonzala campanella, lasagna, and pasta alla vodka, are 10s!!! And the lobster and shrimp fettuccine is a 12. My least favorite, which I have tried twice now, is the pasta brio as the chicken has not been moist either time and it's been accompanied with a burnt taste. I'll have to give the bisque another shot and see if it's less salty on another day. But overall I love Brio. The manager Hector is also phenomenal. He made sure our table stayed fresh by removing dishes when we were done, making room for more dishes to come. He made sure our water glasses were always filled and that our meal was up to par. Me & the Pasta Alla Vodka go together... REAL BAD. (hopefully you understood the reference) randomly went to Brio Italian Grill after shopping with my boyfriend. We were both so shocked with how good our food was. We also had amazing service during our first visit. The service was really nice, and the manager came over and gave us free drinks (!!). I have only been here twice, but I have ordered the pasta alla vodka both times. I think this dish has a surprising amount of flavor and is so tasty. I will admit, the second time that I got this, the dish tasted even more flavorful than the first time... not sure what happened, but I'm happy with it! I think that Italian restaurant franchises don't have the best rap when it comes to their pasta, but so far this is the best pasta that I've had in Orlando (I recently moved here). Going in, the ambiance resembles closely to a cheesecake factory, but Rustic and Italian! For dinner, I just ordered the Ala vodka pasta with pancheta. As for my review, the food and service were great! The pasta was ever so tender, had a great ricotta filling, and it came in a wonderful balanced sauce. Can't forget to save some crusty sourdough to catch the extra sauce.
