The environment was very laid back and I loved everything from the decor, the music, to everything that adorned the walls. Devin our waiter was friendly and courteous! How do you feed 10 starving college students during beach week? Southern bbq of course. We ordered the feed bag which includes 1/2 pulled pork, 1 half chicken, 1 lb sliced brisket, 6 ribs, 2 hot links, 2 kielbasa, quart of baked beans, quart of collared greens, hush puppies, bread, pickles, and onions. On the menu it says it feeds 4-5 people but it perfectly served our table of 10 with leftovers (mind you we literally haven't eaten anything all day and it was about 4 pm). My personal favs were the short ribs and pulled pork. The short ribs were so soft and chewy - the kind that slides right off the bone and the pulled pork was nicely seasoned with a sweet kick. A surprise favorite was the baked beans which I've been sleeping on for too long lol. We ended up paying about 9 dollars each so this is a great option in North Myrtle Beach for big groups! read more

We ordered the "feed bag" for take-out, which they say feeds 4-5 people. It's more like 8-10- I mean it's a crazy amount of food. And yeah, their pulled pork, brisket, and turkey were excellent (ribs pretty tasty too), but the real star for us was the short rib. They give you this monstrous rib with like 100 lbs of meat on the bone. It was crazy. We cut the meat of that bone, sliced it thin, and had THE BEST sandwiches we've ever had for the next few days. We'd just flown in from Texas and had brisket on a golf course that was better than this. I hate to say. Was a little too dry for my taste. Wish they had option for a juicier fatter cut. We also had some ribs and we couldn't eat them Max and cheese was pretty good. Service was very ignorant, dismissive, and disgusting(she dropped a straw on floor and then put in my drink). As soon as questioned her she joked 5second rule. It was the spur of the moment choice - looking for some place near our hotel, knowing it was Friday night, and just wanting something to eat after driving 9+ hours to get here. Unsurprisingly, there was a wait. But better to wait it out here than waste time trying to find another place. The place is small - very limited seating - but fortunately a parking lot to accommodate the crowd. We were jammed inside the door as there really isn't room for anyone to wait. We might have been able to grab 2 seats at the bar, but given that we only waited about 15 minutes to get our own table, glad we didn't sit at the bar. The menu was limited - as was their quantities. I guess it makes sense that once they are out of something for the day - it's just gone. I imagine it takes hours to prepare the pulled meat. BUT, that doesn't mean I wasn't bummed when they were out of pulled chicken. The have next to NO choices of salad - just one you can throw meat on. So when the chicken was out, it was pork, brisket or salmon. To keep it simple and cheap - pork. Hubby went with a cheese-steak sandwich with brisket. And a side of slaw. He got a water and me - Diet Coke. I hadn't seen soda listed on the menu AND if I would have seen the pricing - I WOULD NOT have ordered one. $4.50. A new record. I have never paid that much for a fountain drink - nor will I ever knowingly again. The service was fine. Waitress nice and attentive. Our orders came out in a reasonable amount of time. The salad was mostly iceberg and rather small. Not a good deal. The amount of pulled chicken was fair - just really could have done with more greens and veggies. Not asking for much, just feel satisfied. The salad also came with crackers or something - don't know, not my thing. Hubby said that the sandwich was good - and I believe as he ate every bite. The slaw came with a vinegar - not mayo - dressing but he enjoyed it, too. All in all, I don't think we would return if given the chance. I wanted to get the pulled pork with my mac but they were out...so I got the next best thing...or so I thought...brisket mac n cheese. 1st time dish comes out (on an iron kettle mind you) cold. After reading all the reviews I thought this would be legit BBQ. It's not. The food is lazily put together, luke warm and bland. The ribs still had their silver skin, almost tasted boiled vs real smoke. The burnt ends were giant cubes of fat over tasteless Mac and cheese. Deviled eggs looked like something you see at a church pot luck after sitting in the sun for 5 hours. The brisket was on the dry side and the color showed overdone. If you want BBQ, this isn't it. I went on vacay for two weeks in Myrtle, and stopped by this place for lunch with my two kiddos...one is a toddler and one is an infant. My friend came, and she brought her son. I tell you what...I have NEVER been greeted so sincerely when I walked into a restaurant in my life. They were SO helpful. When I walk into a restaurant with kids I get THE LOOK...The look like..."Really this lady bringing these little kids" but they were more than happy to accommodate our needs...they even turned on the tv to kids a channel. Anyways we order the deviled eggs, the fried tomatoes, the chicken nachos, pulled pork, mac and cheese, ribs, and a chicken tender kids meal. The food was good, but not CRAZY good...but it was good...and so were the prices. I feel you got a lot for what you paid for...the hushpuppies were delicious! We love going to Briskets whenever we're at the beach. The food is so good and Amy, the bartender, is awesome! Sunday my husband was dying for their fried pork rinds, but Amy wasn't working. Top of my list for barbecue in the Myrtle Beach area. It truly has some of the best tasting ribs I've had in a long time. The bite is perfect and the smoke flavor is great. Not a huge fan of their sauces but they're spicy sauce was really good. I had the brisket and ribs and hot link with a sides of baked beans and potato salad. The baked beans were awesome. The food was mid. The service was appalling and embarrassing. Our waitress was inattentive and not the least bit friendly. We ordered the burnt ends as an appetizer, they never arrived and when the main courses were served I mentioned that we had ordered an appetizer. I got a nonchalant "Yes, you did". The appetizer was eventually brought out, but no apologies given. Throughout the course of the meal we were never checked on. The table behind us had a minor issue. The patron very calmly asked for a resolution and his suggestion (he just wanted to swamp a mediocre side for a dessert) was met with attitude, so much so that when the waitress left his table, she very abruptly kicked the door going into the kitchen. We were seated right out side the kitchen so it was awkward to say the least. Award winning mac and cheese is a stretch.
