Carson was a great bartender. We were one of two sets of patrons at this time of day so she was happy for the company. I was surprised when I asked if they sparkling wine and she offered me a mimosa. I just have that look apparently and I wasn't mad about it! A little heavy on the juice but- it doesn't matter I drank it anyway. Food was- welll not great. Chef Mike is part of the gang, hot af outside rim of potatoes with a stone cold inside. No need to ask them to make it warm, it was a small portion. Same thing with the veggies. It doesn't matter though because you should just come here for the drinks anyway. They've got a few fun ones on the menu and a full bar so they'll make ya what you want. What a cute little place to eat! I was with a group of friends and we couldn't decide what to eat and we stumbled across this gem. We walked in and Kaita greeted us. She was super friendly, super helpful, and quick. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from and there is a full bar. There were 4 of us originally and 2 friends joined later. She had no issues with us pulling 2 tables together to accommodate. I got the Kay-Sa-Dill-Uh lol. It took me reading it out loud to get it. It was perfect and I ordered wings to go. Actually our whole table ordered wings to go as we were in an AirBnb and figured we might get hungry late night. I would totally come back to this place. Samatha was a great barmaid,she lets you know what's on happy hour and for food. The happy hour menu is definitely a win win. Very cheap drinks! If you want some cheap drinks this is your place for happy hour!! I gave them a two because the wings were nasty. No taste very bland. Daughter and myself ate for the 3rd time at the Oleander Dr. location and it was terrible. Wednesday night 6:11 and I ordered the "Big Reuben" that wasn't big or made right. The cornbeef should shaved and not chunky like this was, 1 small bite from each half and I had to complain. French fries that we both got were an hour old, colder than the restaurant ! Had 2 different flavors of chicken wings this past time out there. Ordered both extra crispy and received them as ordered. Garlic parm wings were sauced nicely and had that great tangy flavor, all were topped with fresh parmesan cheese. Also tried the bbq wings and they were awesome as well. Homemade bleu cheese just can't be beat. They've updated their daily happy hour cocktail menu to include a bunch more liquors. They dropped a Hennessey pour on me for only five bucks. Jim Beam pours are three. Great value. Saw lots of folks stopping in after work in their work uniforms and decompressing with a cocktail and gnoshables. Nice crowd, friendly people, vibrant atmosphere with attentive service. They also have a dishwasher right there in the bar area that they use frequently, so you know you're glassware is clean! read more

Attempting to let him know he and the other owner allowed the staff to fend for themselves, he became more angry......this all to the fact that I brought up his children being babysat by bartenders and behind the bar and sitting at the bar! James, your entire local regulars know what you have allowed and I have pics of your kids behind the bar and sitting at the bar! I'm fine never coming back in and thank the excellent staff for their kindness and professionalism and putting up with you! Best days to you and your business! I am a regular at the Oleander Drive location. The bar is a great place to come for great food, sports, and fun. The staff are amazing, especially the bartenders Kait and Cass! This biggest drawback is the owners could care less about their employees, literally leaving the bartenders to take care of the entire bar and restaurant to service! I've been here numerous occasions that the locals have to help out waiting tables and make sure everything runs good! They are worked to death with no help from the owners! What I am witnessing tonight, the owners need to give up or hire more staff! Oh, and they allow their young kids, 5y/o and 3y/o to be at the bar and behind the bar, expecting the bartenders to babysit! I'll give 5 stars for staff and negative stats for owners! I went to the location off Oleander drive and we had great service. We went on Tuesday when they did a game starting at 7pm called Songo, which is where you guess the artist/song title/year and we came in 2nd place, it was really fun to do. Their wings were really good. The waitress we had was super nice. Of course with the name of "Doesn't Matter" and a slogan of "service the indecisive" we found it funny and had to give it a try, especially since I'm always indecisive whenever my fiancé asks me what I want for dinner The strawberry mimosa was pretty delicious & my fiancé got the mango (it's 2 for $10) which he said was pretty delicious as well. The kids menu also impressed me with how they spelt out quesadilla how it's pronounced for kids to try to be able to say it, which being a mom means everything to me that they did that for the kids. Where to begin?????!!! The Ruben here is the best I've ever had. No, seriously. They slow cook the corned beef for two days with seasonings. It shows. Perfectly shredded beef, crisp toast. Yummy I had the lamb burger, and it by far was the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and complemented with feta and soft red peppers. The chicken strips for my kiddo we're hand battered, and delicious. Service was outstanding. How did I not find this place sooner? Came in with my bar hopping buddy to check the place out. We wanted to check the beer situation since we like to have some nice microbrews to try out. I also like a nice selection of whiskey for when I get "beered out" and want to switch out! Unfortunately, there is not much here if you want to step out from the common standard beer universe. As far as whiskey, same issue. Don't get me wrong, the place is still nice. It's been open for under a year. Also, the .50 wings were very good. We tried the mango habernaro sauce wings and they were very tasty. The bartender, Liz, was friendly and attentive. There were plenty of televisions to watch to catch your favorite teams. So overall it's was okay. Nothing special and blends in with the ton of other basic establishments available. Here in Myrtle Beach there are so many places to choose from that you have to stand out to draw in the regulars. To be fair, I will go back again to try the place out again. I want to try out some of the appetizers and entrees to be able to complete this review. I will update when that happens. read more

Carolina Forest neighborhood gem in the same shopping center as Kroger on Carolina Forest Blvd ! I came in with my better half to check out their happy hour, 4 -7 pm, every day of the week. Craft beers are $3 draft or bottle and domestic drafts/bottles $2 during h.h. Any appetizers in typed in teal on the menu are $2 off the regular menu price. My Left Hand Milk stout was served in a frosty glass for only 3 bucks. We ordered cheese curds to start and they were only $3.99 and melty delicious. Crispy breading and not at all greasy, they were served with homemade ranch dressing. The curds came out so quickly that we hand't even decided on our meal choices. Our bartender Jo was very friendly and helpful navigating their menu. I chose the french dip with fresh cut fries which offered me plenty of meat and cheese on a fresh roll. The side of au jus was a perfect compliment. Jo told us that they opened in December of 2017 and it looks new and clean. Plus, it has over 20 tv screens with 2 electronic dart boards, a couple interactive video games and a pool table. Whether you like football or baseball you are sure to find a screen with something worth watching on it. I wasn't a fan of the country music, but it was played at a reasonable volume and I bet if we asked them to change it, they likely would. Food was hot and fresh, and my beer was nice and cold. I plan on returning many times as this is my new go to neighborhood tavern. read more

I was surprised by how good this place was--stunned really. By all visual cues, it appears to be a random neighborhood beer and shot bar. Instead, I found a SUPER clean, family-friendly spot for lunch that had a really great "non-bar" food and excellent service. The individual pizza was pretty darned good, as were the well crispy wings. My wife thought the crab cakes were "ok", which for a Marylander like her means it's good since it is a non-Maryland crab cake. The slaw was creative and good. You can tell from the cleanliness and food quality that a lot of work happens behind the scenes. This is not food that is simply ordered from a distributor​ and fried or microwaved. We sat at the bar with a couple of locals and the bartender was friendly. They had a good selection of beers and the menu had a lot of choices. We tried the BLT and Meatball sub specials. The sandwiches were pretty typical. Good, not great. The homemade chips were dreadful. Super greasy and tasted like they needed to change the grease a month ago. You could even smell that the grease was off before you tasted them. Needless to say, we didn't eat them. The meatball sub was giant. Good place to go for typical bar food and a cold beer. read more

Tried this resturant on the advice of the Uber driver. Only one other table and 5-8 people at bar. Waitress was friendly, but disappeared for long stretches of time ( not sure if she was also cooking?). Barmaid seemed too busy chatting up her friends to assist. Food was mediocre at best, we started with loaded potato skins, cooked almost to the extent of being uneatable. My wife had fried shrimp and a baked potato. The shrimp was good. I had a Ruben sandwich and fries. Fries were decent, Ruben was completely uneatable, super dry, lacking any TI dressing and little sauerkraut. This is by far the worse food we had in MB and honestly in a long, long, time. We experienced many great restaurants during our stay in MB, this was not one of them! read more

After emailing management and getting the response I did from him trying to place the blame on me. He claimed I belittled his waiter. After waiting an hour and 10 minutes I had still not received my order so I promptly left and went next door to the pizzaria to eat. Perhaps if the waiter took the time to come back to his tables to see if everything is ok or if someone needed something I could have asked where was ny order or what was the reason behind the delay. Beyond that after having been a regular customer there on Thursday nights this is an on going saga with the quality of service and food. One night the food is good the next its terrible. Theres no consistancy which is a quality control issue. There seems to be no kitchen or floor manager to oversee that everything is going smoothly. This is no way to run a food establishment. A friend and I couldn't decide what to eat while searching for restaurants, I seen the name of this cafe and give him directions to here! A very pleasant surprise!! The server, Chelsea, was very knowledgeable of the menu and did not hesitate to offer suggestions upon our requests. We started out with the Fried Banana Peppers and they we delicious! I ordered Thai Chili Shrimp appetizer and they were fried just perfect and the sauce was the very tasty while not being too spicy. The Patty Melt was just a bit greasy and just a tab bit salty but otherwise good flavor! Went in this past Tuesday. Apparently, ita Trivia Night. There were some occupied tables, but at least half appeared to be unoccupied. It's a Seat Yourself place, but we couldnt find an available table. Oh, they were unoccupied, but reserved for Trivia Night participants. I've been to places that have trivia, on their nights, and never saw tables reserved elsewhere. Not saying that may be good or bad. I guess it's a good thing for the players to be able to ensure they have a table to sit at. Unfortunately, with the tables reserved, and what appeared to be no available tables otherwise, nor a hostess to assist us (or waitress, for that matter), we went elsewhere. While we were willing to try this place, those few minutes left an impression, and not a good one. I'm not sure if we will try it again. As I said, we went elsewhere, down the road, and started to question why we didnt just go their sooner as we've always had a good experience there (where we went to dinner). Maybe we'll attempt it again. But it probably wont be for awhile. Considering all the tables were taken (occupied and reserved), they probably wont miss our business. read more
