She is the "Sherlock Holmes" of the medical community trying to uncover the mystery of my symptoms. Dr. Patton thinks outside the box even to the point of consulting other doctors in order to further her knowledge and advance my care! At HonorHealth, Williams was a fair doctor, listened, seemed to care, no real bedside manner though. After the move, even worse. He didn't listen to either of us, often had to ask what was in our medical files (um, why don't YOU look, since you're the doctor), and usually wanted to rush us out. Often we'd have to say, yes, there's more we came here for. Doesn't seem a very good doc anymore.

For example, when you get labs done, they don't setup a follow up appointment to discuss with your doctor. They expect you to do that and then you get scolded by the doctor in their notes if you didn't do that. Second, getting to talk to an actual person at the clinic is nearly impossible. They are always super booked out and you get the impression this is another medical mill.

Recently, my medical insurance Blue Cross, Blue Shield) dropped all of the Honor Health physicians. I was faced with the choice - change medical insurance OR change physicians. I was happy with BCBS, and I know it is one of the best choices (as a Medicare Advantage Plan). However, the choice was a simple one for me. Although it has been a bit of a hassle making the change, I had no qualms about dropping BCBS rather than my doctor. I am sure most will understand when I say that a good doctor is so hard to find. Not to mention an outstanding, excellent and understanding one like Dr Braig. I am still dealing with the pain of changing health plans, but I don't regret it.
