We were looking for a place for breakfast on a busy Saturday in the Summer- this place had no huge line so we decided to give it a try! Our table was very sticky and the restaurant had a strange musty smell.. Possibly due to the restaurant being next to the hotel pool? The French toast was delicious and huge but I didn't love the bitter berry sauce on it. However the side of sausage was delicious. My boyfriend got Brittany's big breakfast and enjoyed it though his eggs weren't cooked the way he asked. Lastly my water had a strong taste and most water I've had doesn't taste like that.. I usually find restaurants attached to hotels to be quite mediocre at best. Not in this case!! Brittany's Cafe was a delightful surprise to have within steps of my room. Having stayed two nights at the Kancamagus Lodge, I found myself compelled to eat breakfast here both mornings. Brittanny's Cafe is a small, country-style restaurant located within the Kancamagus Lodge Main Building. Attached is an outdoor patio for dining in fair weather. In addition, a wall of windows allow views of the indoor pool facilities at this establishment. Upon entering, a hostess immediately sat us, provided us with menus, and took drink orders to begin the meal. The menu offers a variety of options ranging from omelets, pancakes, french toast, etc. Apparently known for their unique omelet ingredients, I opted to test out the relatively tame bacon, ham, and sausage omelet. The bf tried out one mixed with peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and more! Unlike many places who dice their ingredients into itty bitty pieces, these omelets are filled with largely sliced portions. In a few words, they were fresh, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. Day two, I ordered the pancakes with bacon, home fries, and toast. The pancakes were fluffy, light, and completely hit the spot. Bacon was cooked to near crispiness, home fries soft, flavorful, and plentiful. Lastly, the thickly sliced toast with butter was a perfect way to round out the meal. Bottomless cups of coffee made it a little easier to get going in the morning and search out the adventures easily found around every corner in NH. Service was quick and efficient, waitresses personable and accommodating. Almost all options on the menu were under $10. I wish I had the opportunity to eat here for dinner (as they do not appear to serve lunch) but will certainly keep this place in mind if I am to ever return in the future. read more

Ordered the rattlesnake chicken, chicken and broccoli Alfredo and the beef stew (one of the specials of the day) for the three of us. Food was excellent and arrived quickly! With massive portions, perfect after our day of hiking. Rattlesnake chicken was mildly spicy and tangy, while the chicken alfredo was lusciously creamy and not too salty. Talk about AMAZING food and drinks!! We stopped by here during COVID because it was the ONLY place that was practically empty, so when we came in we honestly didn't have high expectations, or at least I didn't. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and the food was better than most places. The wings were as simple as can possibly be but tasted better than the majority of the wing places I've tried. Overall ok Service: good. The servers worked as a team, check in in on each other. Real team work! Food: Basic American style food that tasted well. Portions were extremely large but entrees range from $15-25 so it seems they should be large or high quality. I'd prefer a small and large menu and prices comparable to that myself. Setting: Due to covid restrictiveness dinning was outside. The ground was just rocks and dirt. It was also 90 degrees hot and the sun was baking on us. They accommodated us by moving us. I think this place picks up later in the evening. We went on a Friday evening and it was nearly empty, a couple people at the bar and one other couple getting food. The food was pretty good, a ringer burger and plain mac & cheese for us. The staff was really friendly. We thought it was just a less popular place, but we were walking past the next night no more than an hour later and the outdoor seating was packed, so maybe it was just a fluke. read more

Asked for no bread crumbs and no vegetables when it was offered on macaroni and cheese, it was loaded with bread crumbs and veggies cant eat bread I'll die. Had to throw it out and one of my salads was missing the dressing and chicken in both salads were overly salted to the point we had to pick the chicken out and throw it away also. My boyfriend and I happened to find this place when we went looking for a dinner spot on our couple's weekend. The other places we looked at had at least an hour wait. I'm so glad that they did because we found this place. We walked right in and found a seat. The staff was extremely friendly, the music was loud enough to hear but not blaring, and the food... CJ's downstairs is a grungy little sports bar but they apparently serve the same food as upstairs. After finding a 90 minute + wait everywhere else we were desperate to avoid McDonalds but a little worried about the "immediately available" seating for 6! I just wish we found this place on the 1st night! Chicken bites with 3 dipping sauces was really good, buffalo & wasabi dipping sauces were delicious. My son declared the steak & cheese as the best ever, buffalo chicken pizza was wiped out in minutes by the girls & I really enjoyed the Cajun chicken panini. This place was a recommended as having great food. Well we wernt impressed. Seated by a crabby young lady, no menus from her. Took our drink order, my companion asked for a glass never given one. Another girl came took our order , I stated No mushrooms on my meal, she said ok . I get my meal loaded with mushrooms had to send it back. So my companion is eating I'm waiting for my new meal. Add us to the fan favorite list for Brittany's in Lincoln NH. I can tell you how many times we've driven past the Tavern, Bar, Restaurant.. whatever and swore we try it one of these day.. Well today was the day and I was not disappointed. Comfortable and relaxed, great service, and the food was very good. I had the cajun chicken panini and my wife the spinach salad with chicken. The food was fresh and in my case with plenty of bite to justify the blackened (cajun) description. It was topped with garden fresh tomatoe, spinach, and grilled peppers and onions. We weren't disappointed tonight and will surely be visiting again in the future. Brittany's .... worth checking out. read more

Offered the option of sitting upstairs or in the bar. We chose the upstairs. I got the chicken parm and my boyfriend got a bacon cheese burger without the blue cheese. The parm was great! The drink I got as well was absolutely perfect. My boyfriends burger was cooked exactly at medium as well and he said the fries were great. Definitely would go again! It was not crowded 3 tables in the main room filled and three outside. There was at least 3 waitress plus the young man. we were outside. The waitress was not around. Every time I asked for decafe the young man said ok then never returned. My son got the waitress and she got it. My son asked for more coffee no cream given had to ask again. My son asked what's the matter I said no decaf I guess I'm banned. No refill. My son went and got him. They didn't want to wait in the long line at the Flapjack pancake place. So glad they made that decision NOT. The service sucked and my French toast was ruined by the thick pile of sauce I scraped off and could still taste. My husband and I decided to dine here for breakfast before our long drive home. We were greeted and got seated right away but other than that the service was lacking. There were only 2 other parties there that morning. After we got our food waiter never came around and refilled the coffee. The hostess went around and filled the other table's coffee but neglected ours. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen so we tried to get the attention of the waitress from the table next to us before she walked away. She ignored both of us even though we were within arms reach from her. Needless to say my husband got up and refilled his own coffee while the staff ignored eye contact with him. We have been to this restaurant many times when visiting Lincoln. Nothing fancy, decent food. Our visit this year was very disappointing. First of all the beer selection is atrocious. It is basically Coors, Bud, Heineken. No options for people who want a different style or flavor of beer. The food was subpar this time. we got three different appetizers for the table. the cheese nachos were exactly that, nacho chips with cheese on top, nothing else. You could ask for pulled pork or chili on top for an extra charge but I've never seen such a sad plate of plain nachos in my life. The chicken app was overcooked and crunchy and the dip was greasy. Also the service was extremely slow for half full restaurant. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this restaurant on our next visit to Lincoln. read more

I'd like to know who gave them their "award" for best macaroni and cheese. My wife ordered the special, pulled pork macaroni and cheese. Cheese bland, pork was as dry as tree bark, completely inedible. I ordered the chicken pomodoro, while edible, it was just blah. The sauce (broth) was oily and mixed with water. There was no sun dried tomatoes and I was really looking forward to them. Maybe a bad night? Not sure but this place has decent reviews. We stayed at the Kancamangus Lodge so had to stop at Brittany's for breakfast. My sister and I both had coffee and the basic #2 with over-medium eggs, toast, homefries, and bacon for $8.45 and then split a small stack of french toast. Really important that when we order over-medium eggs that the middle is still dippy... that's exactly what we got so already started off great. I almost opted out of the homefries just because we had french toast coming and I'm so glad I didn't because they homefries were awesome... cooked well with really cooked spices to make all kinds of crusty potatoe deliciousness. French toast was also pretty good but wish we would have tried the chocolate chip pancakes (I blame my sister as she is a stickler for french toast). Lots of speciality omelets but otherwise pretty basic breakfast with some breakfast cocktails. Definitely stop here for breakfast! read more

Great variety to choose from including unique mac and cheeses, paninis, pizza, burgers, etc. my family of 4 each got 4 completely different things and we could not pick our favorite. The mac and cheese with bacon and caramelized onions, the thanksgiving panini, burger, and nachos were all more than what we could have expected. The employees were nice, and very clean restaurant. We have been coming here for years...our little secret as all the other tourists go to Flap Jacks which is more money and poorer quality. I didn't want to yelp because I selfishly wanted to keep this place to ourselves! The food is amazing, from the berry berry french toast to the standard bacon and eggs. Hash browns are homemade and spiced perfectly. Even their toast is amazing! Coffee is delicious and hot. Wait staff is great and helpful.
