The location, service and food were all very good. I loved their outdoor patio with tons of seating and a good number of fans which definitely helped. We have been in Jax for almost a year now and haven't found a good jalapeño popper until today. We were really excited about that. The wrap, garlic fries, and mahi tacos were also very good. We will definitely be back!

Great place to watch sports. Many TV's and the sound was on for the Super Bowl. Servers were friendly and attentive. Wide variety of food choices- loved the nachos with beef. Outdoor patio has TV's and heat lamps- comfy!

THE place to watch Jags game in Jax Beach! This is my go to place when I want to go to a place with high energy and bustling with people on game day. Lots of TVs, great service, good food. Found their truffle fries to taste very strong so I'll stick with their normal fries next time. My husband loves their ribeye deal. We'll see ya there when the Jags go to the superbowl!

Decided to stop by at Brix after Seeing Deck The Chairs @Jax Beach the day before Christmas. The restaurant was about a block away from the Deck The Chairs location. We decided to sit outside patio. The ambience was Christmassy as they placed Christmas songs all night. We thought at first that it was a bar, but it's kid friendly cause we brought our 5 yr old as well. The selected our own seat, the bartender lady was super friendly. She informed us ahead of time that kids menu was not on the menu but they do have kids menu - told verbally by the bartender. So we ordered these items: Mango Margaritas- tasted really good Brix Wings- tasty and quite spicy with Amarillo sauce Kids Tenders w/fries- decent size Grilled Cheese Mayport Boomers - fried shrimp- really good. Dipping sauce was great too. Wed Special- Brix Burger $7 - husband said taste just like "burger" Our bill came up to around $60ish, reasonable. They gave military discount too. Overall great experience.

Used to be a regular here pre-kids, but haven't been in quite some time. It was a beautiful day so a group of 4 of us went and sat outside on the patio. It was fairly busy but got a table right away. The initial service was a little slow but then a rotation of servers was coming around fairly frequently. We ordered Southwest egg rolls (one of my faves) to snack on, but they didn't quite hit the spot this time as they were over-cooked. They have a full bar so something for everyone. Had a fair amount of beer on draft but would like to see more local beers on the menu. All in all, I enjoy this place for the atmosphere the most and appreciated being able to sit on the patio with a beer in the nice weather! Side note: Parking--we were able to get a spot in their lot. You pay the parking attendant $20 and they give you a ticket for $20 off your tab.

Came here for dinner with my friend and it also happened to be trivia night (Wednesdays). They have $7 burgers and fries as well, which was super yummy! The trivia was fun and the guy hosting it is great and personable. Our waitress was also so nice and friendly. So much fun!

Giid service. Happy staff. Grest spot for a larger party. Every day specials for happy hour and a decent bar food menu.

I was heading to the beach this afternoon and was able to get a parking spot near this restaurant so I decided to give it a try for lunch. In addition to their regular menu, they also have a brunch menu with plenty of breakfast items. The regular menu has several appetizers, salads, tacos, entrees and sandwiches. I opted for the chef salad and it was really good. I decided to sit outside on their patio becauae it was a beautiful day. They also have ten tvs outside so it would be a good place to watch a game. Plenty of people were drinking, so the prices must be pretty good. Service was quick and helpful from all wait staff.

This looks like a great place to hang out if you are local. The food is ok but not the greatest but it is a bar. Had higher hopes for this place. The service started out great but when we got our food we sat for 20 min and had to get the attention of not our server/ bartender we got what we needed. It's not like that are busy at all. It's crazy that you just sit @ the bar and are ignored. Won't make a 2nd trip back here. If you are in a regular dinner night don't come here. They don't give AF!

This is one my fave spots near the beach!! I been coming here for almost 10 years and the food and service is consistently good! Everytime we come here we clean our plates and it's just always a good time! They have indoor and outdoor screens and it's situated perfectly near Jax beach. I enjoy their shrimp nachos, their ribeye steak wow! The best bartenders and they make their drinks like a drink should be made! Thank you Santi!!

Hated it here. Walked in Monday night to watch MNF, have some drinks and food. The place was empty, and we still couldn't get service, and we were sitting right at the bar. Once the server did come over she was so unapproachable! No greeting, no here's our specials nothing. She was too busy kekeing end of bar which I can only assume was a regular. I tried to over look it and we ordered a drink. She couldn't even drop our drinks off with a smile, the ambiance was also cold and uninviting for us. Needless to say we chugged the drink and left!!!

A full house yes! But everyone getting serviced but the people of color.

The vibe is lively, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming they even surprised the table with a complimentary order of fried crab claws with garlic aioli that were absolutely delicious. For my main course, I had the trio fried platter with fish, scallops, and shrimp, accompanied by hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. Even if the restaurant is packed, you can usually get a spot at the bar to eat. And if you sit upstairs, you get a nice view out of the windows. They have different specials all the time, and on our last visit, they had fried crab claws with a yummy dipping sauce. On this last visit, we just had drinks and appetizers, but on previous visits, I've tried a lot of the fish dishes on the menu and have liked them all. They also have good hush puppies. Their mixed drinks are good as well. I can't remember the names of the two I tried (in the photos), but they were refreshing. My husband had an espresso martini, but instead of vodka, he had them make it with the O'Kahan Agave Mezcal Purple Heart, which is something you have to ask for. It's a different twist on the usual espresso martini. Overall, it's good food in a good spot right on the corner in the Beaches Town Center. Never been disappointed and have been eating there for years.

Everything was very good, and the portions were surprisingly large. Food allergies are always an important consideration for us, and AB Kitchen handled them well. The menu clearly identifies gluten free options, and our waitress was knowledgeable about food allergies and helped guide us through the menu and our choices. That made ordering much easier and gave us confidence in what we were eating. The atmosphere is lively and has a good date night feel. It works well for a casual date or a first date, although the restaurant can get fairly noisy. Because of that, I probably would not choose it for a serious business dinner where conversation is the priority. I also would not consider it the best choice for families with small children. Nothing about the restaurant is particularly unfriendly toward kids, but the atmosphere and overall experience seem better suited to adults. Overall, very good food, generous portions, good allergy awareness and an enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely a place we would return to.

As for the food? The berry salad was alright, but very light on the dressing- which made it slightly dry and the bitter arugula taste stand out. But my waitress did bring extra dressing so I ended up enjoying it. The Peaches & Cream fried green tomatoes were delicious- way more tomato than I expected in the best possible way! I feel like it should be named fried green tomatoes on the menu with the cheese and peaches left in the description. The Ahi tuna with ginger noodles was also fantastic! The noodles on the dish were actually the highlight of the whole meal. The only thing I felt really was not worth the money was the crab macaroni- which for $18 was a very basic velveeta adjacent mac with a very thin, crusty layer of shredded crab on top. In sum: the food is good, but it's definitely at a premium.

Another plus was that our server was very friendly and helpful, although he seemed to be having to cover for much of the rest of the staff. At a glance, the restaurant didn't seem understaffed, but they struggled to keep up even when multiple tables had emptied out. The bar and kitchen were struggling, too -- we had multiple issues with wrong items being served, and it took a surprisingly long time to get our food (even with giving a lot of grace for us being a party of 10). Dinner was 2.5 hours without dessert (with the exception of the small, complementary dessert they brought the birthday celebrant). The food was fine but nothing spectacular, and it felt overpriced. I ordered a cup of tomato bisque, which was decent, and a trio of sides for my main course: the Boursin orzo, Brussels sprouts, and pecan green beans. The orzo was pretty tasty, and the Brussels sprouts were quite nice with dried cherries mixed in. Both leaned a bit too salty but not terribly so. The green beans were a total miss: no flavor and arrived room temperature. The server ensured I wasn't charged for them. To drink, I ordered an ube piña colada (which was not strong but was tasty) and a glass of house white. My total for soup, two sides, one cocktail, and one glass of wine was nearly $80 with the 20% automatic large party gratuity included. I don't mind the tip inclusion, but I feel like I paid a hefty amount for food that didn't match the price tag. I'll also note that they have introduced a surcharge for paying by credit card. I really hope they get things sorted out; it sounded like a lot of new staff in place which hopefully means higher aspirations rather than high turnover. It's a beautiful spot.
