Hello Foodies and Friends w/ Cooties, Well, what can I say? I'm a sucker for kinda decent pizza. The essence of flavor mirrors something familiar of the midwest. Not quite a brick oven flavor, or sweet yet rich tomato sauce. Acceptable nonetheless. I can't with good conscious place my stamp of approval on this pizza. However, I'd recommend this pizza if you're been searching high and low for a decent pie. For whatever reason, spell check want me to correct conscious with conscience lol (random share). I was in the area because my sister needed to go to the Chase Bank down the street. I was hungry and saw a pizza sign. I looked it up on Yelp and saw it had 4 stars. I saw some photos and I looked at the menu and I thought, why not? I love pizza. I'm hungry. The pizza looks good. So I walked in. The place is small but it has a fun vibe to it. It felt like an old school pizzeria where families come to eat THERE as opposed to simply taking it out. The staff was friendly and the menu was simple. I ordered a personal cheese pizza with sausage, pepperoni, smoked canadian bacon, and res onions. The prices are very reasomable. The guy behind the counter said it would be a few minutes. So I sat down and then I noticed that they had a little arcade machine. It had Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc. I played Galaga, my favorite old school game. I'm not sure if the button works or if it purposely only fires 2 bullets every half second or something. Kind of like a semi-auto trigger. Anyway, I had fun. I played for a few minutes and 2 minutes after I lost my pizza was ready. It smelled so good. It looked so good. I enjoyed the smell of a few seconds and the I dug in. THE CRUST WAS AWESOME. Crunchy yet fluffy. Oh my God lol. It made me happy. The sauce was pretty good. No complaints. The onions tasted rich. Just overall a fantastic pizza. I wasn't expecting the pizza to be the best pizza ever. But I was glad it was great. A bonus: 2 families came in together and they were just really happy and friendly and they let me go ahead of them because they knew they were going to take long. We love the pizza here, been here twice now and we had a pepperoni and sausage pizza, a side Caesar salad and garlic bread. We got the regular crust and it was to our liking, not too much bread, but they have other options. The service was what made this place stand out, as a lot of guys working behind the counter both times were all super polite which is rare these days. Even the guys bringing out our food. Well, i feel guilty. I have to be honest though. This is the opinion of my entire family of 5 adults! The crust is bread-like with a crisp bottom which comes from added grease. Pizza itself wasn't greasy however i read a review which compared this Pizza to Chuck-E-Cheese. Without a subconscious notion, my son said just that after the second bite. We were really thirsty, hungry and very warm after standing in the sun for some time watching the recent City of Lake Forest 4th of July parade. We walked from the parade route here to the Ralph's shopping center where Brizio Pizza is located. The staff welcomed us upon walking in and I was really happy that we were somewhere that had A/C. We looked at the menu boards at the counter decided to order two personal size pizzas. I got a Greek pizza and my fiance chose a sausage and pepperoni one. This is the norm for us or we order one pizza and split the toppings half and half as I am the weirdo who likes anchovies, jalapenos, salami and more unusual toppings on my pizzas. Don't judge ;P Their menu also includes salads, pastas and a kids' menu beside pizza. We got our drinks from the fountain and slid into one of the available booths. This place is on the small side but has a lot of personality with the sports memorabilia, funny signs and photos on the walls. The restaurant, itself, was very clean, also. The pizzas were delivered to us fresh out of the oven. The crust and toppings on my Greek pizza were very good. I liked the variety of toppings of veggies, olives and cheeses. It was very tasty. The staff was very helpful and kind here. With a lot of options for pizza in the area, it is nice to find a local place with tasty pizza and genuinely nice staff to serve you. read more

$2.50 for a pizza with daily changing toppings is what lured us in and while they were fantastic in taste, they were TINY, we each had two and were still hungry, I would say the size of a regular slice of pizza. For dinner or if you are really hungry I suggest a larger size. Service is fantastic, our food was out quickly, side salad was cheap and fresh as well. I do wish they did not only have packaged dressing, fresh is always a nicer touch. Space is clean but simple, plenty of seating, but most were taking their food to go. Ok people lets be realistic here... This place is ok at best for fast food but the pizza has very little cheese on it and very little sauce. The individual taking orders over the phone was so rushed, after each item he would try to get off the phone, didn't ask for a name for the order either. Just encountered the same individual in person. As customers enter the restaurant, he stops helping current customer, and yells across the room to the next. No connection, no interaction, extremely loud, cold, and unwelcoming. UPDATE 10/4: would like to say that our food was pretty tasty!
