Great pizza with quality ingredients. We've had pizza from Brizio for the last 3 years and it never disappoints.

This place is a joke. Ordered a large combo pizza and a side of 10 wings. Pizza crust was bad and the size seemed super small compared to other pizza joints. The wings were disgusting. It was soggy and it felt like we were biting into just chicken fat. We literally threw the wings away because it was all skin and fat. Cant believe we paid 50 bucks for this. Did this place pay to get 5 star reviews? I just cant imagine people think this place deserves 5 stars. read more

This was my very first experience with Brizio Pizza in Lake Forest. I ordered take-out over the phone and the gal answering was very polite and professional. My son in law brought this home tonight and I guess they discovered it last summer. They are big fans and we were very pleasantly surprised tonight. I like the texture of the crust and the way they do a layer of cheese over the toppings. We also had a antipasto salad that was pretty good too. My SIL also made note that the owner or manager, Nima, was very helpful and friendly. My only wish is that we could've eaten it sooner so it was hotter. I don't even know where to begin. Called in to place an order for pick up. Ordered 3 pizzas and side of wings. Came to pick up the order, and this is where it went south and continued to go south. -Name on the order was incorrect, even though the employee repeated our name correctly. -They messed up on one pizza, even though the employee repeated the order back to us -Replaced the pizza free of charge, and still couldn't get the toppings correctly -Pizza tasted horrible, little Caesars pizza tastes better.. that says a lot -Wings were very bland And finally, it was not busy at all. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust is amazing (perfect thickness), the sauce is incredible, and they are not stingy with toppings. If you love hawaiian pizza...omg!! We decided to try this place because of an advertisement/coupon we received in the mail; all I can say is thank GOD we had a coupon. I would never pay full price for this horrendous excuse they call pizza. Ordered thin crust pizza, and it was like pie crust. So disgusting and ridiculous. Being from NY I was so excited to see thin crust pizza on the menu. Rude awakening. The pizza was like something I would've gotten at Chuck E Cheese back in the 90's. Also ordered some wings since not many pizza places around here seem to have wing offerings (which is basically a staple in NY). Disappointed no one warned me that these wings are baked. Came here again last night with my trusty $5 coupon. Bought a 7 inch pepperoni and a 7 inch cheese pan pizza. I was surprised and impressed at its freshness. They skimped on pepperonis, but put ample cheese - which was stringy and chewy, the way I like it! The dough was thick and chewy, also yum. This place could definitely work on presentation, as my pizza came out on a Styrofoam plate, which was melting a bit from the heat of the pizza. I might have enjoyed dinner more because it only cost $0.54 with the coupon. However, I'll probably be back the next time I get a cheesy craving. $2.50 for a 7 inch cheese pizza is still a good deal. My only complaint on this visit was the unprofessional staff. They looked like high school kids, and cursed loudly behind the counter. Some of their friends came in and things got a bit rowdy. Ordered a Large Combo and the Buffalo Chicken Wings. This is a complaint on the restaurant's choice of online delivery service: The delivery guy yelled at me while I was in the balcony tonight. He was upset that my husband didn't pick his phone call. He demanded more tip by cursing at me bc he got lost in my apartment complex. When I told him that I had already paid for tip plus the delivery fee via GrubHub, he was pissed and cursed at me. He told me that money was for the company. He gave me my food and stormed off cursing at me. My hubby and I were so upset that we called both GrubHub and the Pizzeria to complain. We ended up throwing out the food bc if you were greeted with a driver who has the audacity to make a public scene by yelling and swearing at you upon his arrival while demanding more tip, would you honestly feel comfortable eating the pizza he delivered? It is National Pizza Day today and my husband and I are going to order pizza just not from this place. We use to order from Brizio's ALL THE TIME until we had a very bad experience on New Year's Eve a few years back. We placed an order over $100 for delivery. We waited almost 2 hours (with no word from them). We call them and they tell us they have no drivers, the driver had to leave. We understand things happen but to not even call your loyal customer to let us know we wont be getting any food at all! NO ONE CALLED! We had to call! We have not ordered from this place since. Can you imagine having friends and family over on New Year's Eve and ordering food for hungry people and waiting and waiting to not get anything at all! No notice. It was so embarrassing to tell our guests that we have no food coming. Brizio's didn't try to make it right at all. They even charged our card and told us.. wait a few days and you will get your money back. We would order from here all the time, we spent so much money at this establishment and they did not even try to right their wrong doing! So, we will be ordering pizza from another place today. We enjoyed your food but not your customer service and lack of empathy. I have been wanting to write this review for awhile and it feels good to finally do it because every single New Year's Eve I am reminded how awful our night was a few years back from this place!
