The best pan Dulce in garden grove and Anaheim area! Probably one of the top 3 best I've had in my whole life. Like it was made perfectly! I have read they were one one the best tamales near me. first of all the masa had no body to it, the meat in the pork was fine, but the green cheese ones had no chile flavor, and a different kind of cheese than I'am use to. my biggest issue is the price for one is $4.00 ea. no matter were I try to fine other places, I always go back to my same tamale place, where the tamales are the best, and the prices is only $1.80 ea. read more

My husband enjoys the bread here but they are pricey so be ready to pay $$$ they do have some great tasting conchas and the fresh donuts are great tasting when fresh out the oven. We always pay $30-50 for bread but I guess it's once a month so yeah.. The rosca is good, but the owners and employees of this place are very rude and only give privileges to the people they choose, while others are left without a rosca. The owner even said that if I want to buy a rosca from this place, I have to rent a hotel and sleep in Anaheim to be able to buy one, and that if I don't do that, it would be my fault if I don't get a rosca. I stopped by the other day around 5pm for the first time and this has got to be my favorite place to get fresh bread at. I placed an order with a bit of everything, came home and the conchas were so warm and soft and delectable! Usually towards the end of the night bakeries are just trying to get rid of everything they have left but this place was still making them fresh and I loved how you just ask what you want and no one is breathing over or reaching over the bread. The price is a bit more pricey than most panaderias but it's worth it when you are getting quality and freshness and cleanliness. Can't wait to venture back ! read more

My wife found this spot looking for authentic and tasty Mexican breads. She found the spot with this bakery. The breads are fresh and soft all day. We like the white, yellow, pink, and brown concha's there is jelly roll type one that is to die for. There are some others as well that we get too. The bread is always fresh, the concha's are delicious and the bolillos crunchy in the outside and very soft inside. Prices have gone up, but the pan I worth it. Service is nice. Ambience is quiet. I love the smell of the bake goods. read more

We went in and a staff member helped us pick out bread, and answered any questions we had - namely what the bread had in and on it - to which he was very friendly in telling us what to expect. But honestly, you can't go wrong with any you pick. We got about 11 pieces for $19 ( 2 were marranitos which are located in the left wall with the sugar cookies). Came in by chance and did not regret it. Bread was soooo good. A bit pricey but worth it. Be ready to stand in line outside! They only allow 2/3 customers at a time. They select and bag your bread. Best Bolillos I've ever had! The staff members are always helpful and polite. There's usually a line outside since they only allow a limited amount of people inside. They have all breads on display behind their counters and you tell them what you would like. Don't get discouraged if you see a line outside, it's definitely worth it! read more

This panaderia was so amazing! My sister and I were visiting Disneyland and wanted to have breakfast somewhere that wasn't a fast food spot. It was a five minute drive from where we were staying next to the park and we loved it so much, we stopped their again the next day to pick up snacks for our road trip home. It was our first time going to a panaderia and they were so nice and helped us select a good assortment of breads. When we went the next day, they recommended we take bolillos and tamales for our trip. We took a bite of the tamales in the car and went right back in to order more. It's that good. If you want to support a local bakery while on your trip to Disneyland, I completely recommend them! And they're worth the wait in line (we went early and while there was a line because of the 2 person limit in the store, it went by quickly). My sister and I still talk about how delicious everything we ate there was. If I lived by there, I probably would go every day. read more

This place is awesome! Just happened to see it on my way to work and decided to give it a try. I love good/authentic pan dulce so im glad to have found Brizuela's. It is so good and so authentic, it can't be beat (in my opinion). Not only that, they also serve the freshest bolillos ive had in years! Plus, their tamales, chamuprrado and atole are the best around. They open early and stay open late which is a great surprise. The staff is always friendly too. This has become my new favorite bakery. Lucky me, its on my way to work so if i can get out of the house 10 minutes early i stop by and start my day out right. I recommend this place to everyone i know. It was my first time at Brizuela's yesterday, I stopped by around 6 PM to pick up some pan dulce to bring home. Didn't know they also sold tamales but according to the reviews on Yelp, it's a MUST to buy their tamales. I bought 3 conchas, 2 marranitos (puerquitos), 1 pork and 1 cheese tamales (each is $2.50), and a couple bolillos ($0.50/ea). Their bread, conchas and bolillos, tasted so good and you can easily tell they were freshly made. I spent a little over $12 ($1 upcharge for using card). My s/o gave his stamp of approval for their tamales, so we will definitely be back for more. I see they do sell champurrado and plan to have some my next visit! They do enforce social distancing here, only 2 customers are allowed inside the shop. The workers also pick the bread for you, you basically point and tell them what breads you want. A thousand stars for how they are handling their business amidst the COVID fiasco. Expect to be standing in line around the evenings, but the people here are very efficient so the line moves fairly quick. read more

Extremely disappointed!! Drove to LA (from RENO) for a birthday weekend and ordered a "Tres leches cake" from Brizuelas because of the great reviews and it was even recommended by our Vrbo host. We had to drive an hour out of our way to get the cake and we didn't mind because we thought it would be worth it! NOPE! We ordered a strawberry tres leches cake and It was dry, and one person even said it tasted like medicine. Everyone who ate the cake also got green diarrhea, making the trip home horrible. I'm not sure how they are rated so high with service like this and for $70! When we picked up the cake we also got a dozen of Tamales; another $42 wasted.
