The litany of pre-made coffee options is enough to earn this place 5 stars. The nutty doodle coffee alone warrants a trip. Most all the other coffee blends or flavors have explanatory names like blueberry or hazelnut. The word "nutty" definitely gives one a hint, but "doodle" suggests that someone is about to be taken on a little ride of surprises. I've had a cup of nutty doodle. The nutty doodle-ness aligned my chakras, opened my 3rd eye, and reunited my being with the universe. So, worth a try, I'd argue. The donuts here are donuts. Straight up pink box sugar discs and choco bars. The staff here wastes no time, takes payment, and rushes the donut to the customer. All the donuts here are donuts. There is no way to even place a bad order here. Keep the show-business coming, Broadway!

Cute donut shop with the kindest owners. The donuts/pastries are delicious and great for sharing at work

Cute, clean, great variety, and delicious! Pink box never disappoints. Come here for the best donuts in Long Beach! The little lady behind the counter will take good care of you.

ONLY TAKES CASH AND DOES NOT HAVE AN ATM! I love living in Long Beach because it allows small local businesses to thrive without overcrowding. Donuts are my favorite food, even more than Brussels sprouts. My daily commute to work always passes Broadway Donuts, so I decided to try it. The majority of places only have street parking, so I parked on the street, which is not surprising. Less than 10 minutes are needed for the transition. Though the service wasn't the greatest, it wasn't the worst. I got my donuts, which were exactly what I wanted. It was impressive to say the least, the coffee bar had about 30 types of creamer, if you thought about it the flavors were there. I always try glazed rings and chocolate rings whenever I visit a new donut shop for the first time. The store itself was small and did not have much room, but it had a flow that allowed for an easy entrance and exit, as long as you didn't forget anything. The glazed donut was exceptionally well-balanced - not too sweet, not too cloying - and inviting enough to make you want more, and believe me I did. The chocolate donuts weren't my favorite, but that was more due to the top chocolate, which tasted almost burned. They did however land a classic, the glaze, so this place was worth a try.

Decided to try Broadway Donuts today, so.glad I did. They had a good selection of donuts, and a few choices in croissants in which I tried the Jalapeño, Hamann cheese, it was so good. My donut choice was the cinnamon roll, so soft, fresh and bursting with flavor. They have one of the most extensive coffee selections I've ever seen. Over a dozen in pump canisters, I tried the coconut, it was amazing. The parking is street parking only, the 7-11 across the way doesn't allow you to park in their lot, just a heads up. It is cash only so be prepared. The owners are very nice and very sweet, the welcome your business. I recommend supporting this little mom.and pop donut house, you won't be disappointed

Two turkey croissants, 2 maple bars, 2 sugar twist, cherry Danish.

Our favorite is the chocolate concha. It is crisp, fresh, and has the slightest sourdough flavor. I tried the dona one time and while it was great. It was just too much for me. Literally, we had to bring it home. I would suggest splitting this because of its size and it has a lot of almond and jam so it's hefty. I also tried their jamon which was sooooo good. I would get this again. For drinks we have tried their Atole, Dulce de Leche and Horchata with Cold Brew. My new favorite is the Horchata. It is so well complimented by the cold brew and it's so smooth and not too sweet. My husband also liked the taste he tried but he went with my now second favorite the Dulce de Leche. What I love about this place is that everything is balanced. Its not too much of anything just perfect. The concha isn't too sweet. It's balanced by the sourdough which is complex. The coffees which anywhere else would be a sugar bomb are just right. The sugar highlights the brilliance of whatever it is paired with whether that is bread or coffee.

We went early to make sure they weren't sold out of anything we wanted. We got a good variety and ended up eating the entire box outside before leaving. Top pics would be Doña, Nixtamal Queen, Alfajor de Neuz, and the Brie and Ham Sandwich. My wife got the matcha which was fantastic and I got the Atole latte which was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet. We even got some the morning we left town to make sure we had some to eat back home. Can't wait to be back

I've been on the lookout for the best coffee in Long Beach and I think Colossus might just be it…read more Colossus is an adorable storefront on 2ND Street. I'm absolutely obsessed with their coffee menu, baked items, sandwiches, and their selection of grocery-like goods. I ordered the Midsommar caramel latte, ceasar salad sandwich on their fresh baked bread, and the strawberry rhubarb and pistachio danish (!!). I'd easily sign up for this lineup to be my last meal on earth. I even ordered a sourdough bread loaf with olives so I could ride this high for several more days. The Midsommar latte is crafted with housemade caramel, espresso, milk, and topped with sprinkles of fennel and bee pollen - the perfect finale to an already incredible drink. There are also three tables outside that seat four, four, and two for a maximum of ten. The place fills up fast, but empties just as quick. And their baked goods go quick, so grab them while you can! I ordered the Cuban Empanada as an appetizer. The savory rice and bean filling was a perfect compliment to the sweet ripe plantain filling and hint of sweetness in the dough. They are baked and the dough is thick and chewy, so if you're not a fan of that type of Empanada, be warned... I ordered the Cuban Sandwich as the main course. It was DELICIOUS and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're a purist, like a few of my friends and family though, be warned. Their take on the Cuban is made with Ciabatta not Cuban Bread, Mozzarella not Swiss, and is toasted not pressed... I ordered a Vanilla & Dulce De Leche Cookie for Dessert. It was AMAZING! Soft chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside. The taste of a sugar cookie with little sugar bombs of Dulce De Leche throughout. Perfect. And I washed it all down with a Tres Leches Latte (Hot). It was DIVINE! Very much on the sweet side, which I absolutely enjoyed to the last drop. But, if you do not like it too sweet, you can ask them to lower the sweetness level. Also, they will give you an option of dairy milk (2%), almond milk, or oat milk when you order. Overall it was an excellent experience, for me. I will recommend it to all my friends, and will definitely be back!
