    Chicken crepe

We were here for a Sunday brunch. Cute area with little stores and restaurants. Place is beautifully decorated. Love the open area concept. Not busy at all. Had another couple besides us. Staircase on the middle of the restaurant to the second floor. Our server was very nice. We ordered the French onion soup, Chicken crepe and Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The French onion soup was yummy with lots of cheese. The crepe was good but not amazing. I think it needs more stuffing. My hubby was raving the chicken sandwich! He loved it. Next time, I would like to try their Lox or crab Benedict. Overall we had a good brunch.

Today is a Hot Hot day in Burlingame and I went to Broadway Grill! My first try Summer borcht (šaltibarščiai) - voted best summer soup in Europe It's true I get it ! Delish and refreshing.

We had a reservation for 8 people. They had prepared a table for when we arrived. The staff and the menus were pretty weird. They had one menu for brunch, one for lunch and dinner and one for specials. I think they all should be one. Ordering food got a bit complicated. The service was not persistent also. For the most part, I wished I had a cup of water in front of me they did bring crayons and kids menu, that my son really loved. We also asked them to serve a cake for birthday, which they were super nice and accommodating. I ordered fish with risotto. The fish was tasty but risotto was not crunchy. The portion size was very small. The trout was not seasoned enough, it was bit an oily. Overall, we are planning to go there again.

Overall 10/10! Happy hour is perfect. Clean and calm environment. Easy parking. Delicious $14 mussels in an Alfredo type sauce. Prickly pear lemon drop $11 for happy hour. Service 10/10. Highly recommend.

Was there for the jazz music and enjoyed the music and the food. Started with beet salad, very tasty. Got the yellow and red beets, with currants, and toasted slivers of almonds, and goat cheese. Very light on dressing which I like. I had the cod special of the day. A big chunk of fresh cod. If you are into sauce, this is not the dish you want. I like the minimalist of the dish. Yes, it needed seasoning but I get to control the salt and pepper which is what I like. The mashed potato was light, not heavy with butter. The corn was sweet. Sprinkle of chard not overpowering taste. I had the honey cake dessert. Light with cream cheese frosting. It was so fresh. I over ordered and had to take half home. Service was attentive. Great lighting in this place during day time.

This is maybe the best place in the whole country. Wow. The moment we walked in we did have a great server that gave us a good vibe and she was a really perfect sever for sure. The food that each of us ordered was amazing to each one of us. This was such a great place we chose while we were here from the other side of the country on a work project. The music group made me be filled with happiness as their wonderful music was played. They were great and gave a good feel in there that evening. This is a great place to go to if you're ever in this area.

This place has live music sometimes and we were looking for a quick bite. It was new year's day and a friend's birthday so we chose this place after taking a look at the menu. Most of us got burgers and the food was delightful. It was fresh and the truffle on the fries were strong. They also brought out a nice dessert for the birthday girl! The service is attentive and friendly too~ We will need to check out the place when live music is playing!

Hubby & I had a great dinner here last Friday night. I made a reservation for 5:45pm in tangent with our friend scheduled to perform there at 6pm. That didn't materialize as she had bad luck with her guitar. But her colleague and a sub came through. We listened to live jazz music while we ate. Ordered - * mussels to start with * charred brussels sprouts - we requested that be brought at dinner * hubby had fishermen seafood stew * I had the whole trout butterflied Our server Noelle was great. Very attentive and efficient. I had a glass of Italian rose. Hubby had planned to indulge with the bourbon flight after dinner but passed since our friend wasn't there to perform. The restaurant exterior looks like an old bank building while the interior has been renovated with high ceilings and looks very rich. Easy parking lot across the street.

    Warm Beet Salad

First time at this restauran, recommended by a friend. Burger and fries with the beet salad. Burger was a burger. I requested Swiss cheese, they decided that cheddar was better. I asked for it to be medium, they decided rare. I think the thing that really got to me was the "salad", picture is worth a thousand words. I was standing at the door and my food was on the counter had to rustle up a staff member to get it. I don't know seems as if she had been indulging in her cellar. It's a cute spot but I don't see myself going back

I've been here several times over the past few decades and always have had an excellent experience.. The food is always tasty and high quality and tonight is no exception. Prices are in reason -- no need for a special occasion, but it can handle anything you can think of. Stopped in on my way to pick up my son at SFO. Great choice! I'm greeted by light music and the perfect temperature for such a warm day. Since I'm driving after this, I ordered an iced tea which has gone perfect with the CauliflowerSoup (from the specials menu), in fact I didn't need to open the menu, 'cause here is the star of the show ... Scallops on polenta. Amazing .. one picture for you before I put my phone down and enjoy. Back again! Live music now starting and a Chocolate Moose is being guided to my table to send me on my way!

    Fettuccine Alfredo

Was looking for a place near our hotel, absolutely loved the vibe, ambiance. I think we were served by one of the owners, she was the sweetest given recommendations. Even gave us a taste of their honey bread freshly done, on the house. It was delicious, best I've ever had. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with prawns, really good, very fresh. We had really good drinks too! 10/10 would recommend!

If you have not been to Broadway Grill, in Burlingame, you are missing out on great food, atmosphere and service! We came across this fabulous restaurant by accident as we were walking on Broadway street looking for cocktails and a snack in between lunch and dinner! Wow! What a nice discovery ! They serve brunch Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am until 4 pm! Entrée/dinner menu is also available. ! The brunch menu has something for everyone, great quality and reasonably priced for Burlingame. The French Onion soup was rich and delicious ! The ribs were so succulent and served with a warm BBQ sauce (so delicious) on the side! Absolutely fantastic ! The asparagus were cooked to perfection with a tangy aioli sauce! Ziggy, the owner paired my entree with a great Pinot Noir! We also shared the mushroom crepe which was also great! We could not have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding anniversary ! Amazing food and service!

The last thing we ordered was pasta with foraged mushrooms. This was our least favorite. Was expecting a creamy earthy pasta with the mushrooms but the mushrooms almost seemed pickled. There was a very vinegary taste from the mushrooms that was off putting. The pasta was also very very al dente. Way too undercooked for us. Lastly this place can be a little pricey. While it's no House of Prime Rib, it definitely offers easier reservations and a good evening. Food (3.5-4 stars) + The prime rib is decent--juicy and served on a really hot plate that keeps everything warm. However, the meat lacks that deep aged flavor. You can tell they salt it on the outside as it's gets saltier around the edges. At least it's cooked to my desired medium rare which for some reason isn't the case with other reviewers. + The au jus was plentiful and soaked right into everything--maybe a little too much, but it worked. + Creamed spinach and corn sides were a highlight--better than expected! ~The meat cut sizes varied, and mine felt smaller compared to others who ordered the same. ~ Loaded baked potato was a letdown--just bacon bits and sour cream, not as rich as expected. Missing the chives. - Vegans can just stay home. The staff here does not understand that vegans don't eat eggs. Their portabello mushroom meal is served with spinach and slices of mushrooms instead of a grilled portabello. My vegan friend did not enjoy it. Service/Ambiance (3.5-4 stars) + They seated our large group easily on a Saturday night. + Attentive with refills and checking in often. ~ Some mix-ups on special orders (like my friend's vegan dish) and delays in bringing out the meals could be improved. ~ Ambiance is classic, old-school steakhouse feel ~ Upstairs seating for large parties is a long table, though I wish we had a round table to chat more easily. The first course of salad was pretty gross. The lettuce looked old and it was drenched in some weird salad dressing. My honey had the salmon and said it was pretty good. I had the NY steak. The steak itself was pretty good, but I didn't know it was going to come smothered in some sauce. When I order a $63 steak, I tend to NOT want any sauce on it. The sauce was okay, but I would have preferred it came with sauce on the side. The creamed spinach is, I am sure, not very good when it is hot. It is downright nasty when it is served cold. We were seated right away, and the restaurant itself is clean, nice, and spacious. I can imagine it getting packed during peak hours--and honestly, it should. I'm going straight to the point: Han Sang has the best Galbi Jjim I've ever had. I've been to other places (which shall remain unnamed) that proudly claim they have the best Galbi Jjim, but I'm happy to say I've finally found the one. At the same time, I'm a little sad because I live in SoCal, which means I can't just come here whenever the craving hits. This dish checked every box imaginable. The beef was incredibly flavorful, fall-apart tender, and they gave a generous amount of meat. And when I say meat, I mean actual meat--not a pile of bones disguised as a serving. (Yes, that's coming from past restaurant trauma.) You definitely get your money's worth here. The rice cakes were cooked perfectly and soaked up all that rich, savory sauce. Then came the surprise waiting at the bottom: glass noodles. Not the usual thin ones either--these were thicker, chewier, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor. The entire dish was so satisfying it genuinely made me happy. We also ordered the Chadol and Yangji Suyuk, a beef brisket soup that was exactly what we needed on a cold evening. The brisket was tender, and as expected, the broth arrived lightly seasoned so you can adjust it to your liking. After adding a little salt, pepper, and some ssamjang, it became the perfect comforting bowl of soup. Warm, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try their Bossam because the portions were huge and we could barely finish what we ordered. That's not a complaint--if anything, it's the perfect excuse to come back. Maybe this is what people mean when they say they left their heart in San Francisco. Mine might actually be sitting in a bowl of Galbi Jjim at Han Sang.
