    Cold crab and oysters
    Shanise T.

Hands down, worst brunch to date. I watched videos, I read reviews, so when I took that hour drive to Foster City, I just knew this brunch would be worth it. I was wrong, so so wrong. First impression, was that it reminded me of the breakfast buffet at the Embassy Suites. Not bad but for sure not $60 worth. They had freezing cold, almost cold crab that I knew would be cold but when I asked for warm butter, all the could offer was movie theatre margarine, that was so salty and cold, I could eat it at all. Everything, I mean everything was lukewarm if not freezing cold! Could not enjoy the soup, the prime rib or the mash. the mash also had some really thick cheese which, when I tried to pull, it lifted the whole thing off of my plate.... gross. The service was great! Marcia was great and she did everything she could to make us comfortable but at the end, it's not her fault. She was the best part of this process. It did come with bottomless mimosas so I thought that would be the saving grace, but no.... the most tart bottom champagne, not even Andre. This experience was so disappointing and I will never be back.

Came here with a friend for for birthday. Made reservations on Open table for the Sunday brunch. It was an ok buffet for brunch. Options for omelets, waffle, carving station, cheese, seafood and some various hot foods. Service was excellent, checked on multiple times and our champagne glasses never empty. We partake in the crab and shrimp. We also sampled some of the hot foods such as seafood pasta, tenderloin, oyster Rockefeller, and fish. Small but extensive selection for dessert. Ample parking and easy reservations. It was ok experience for trying something new.

Came to celebrate a birthday brunch Not too crowded but reservation is required for large party Food and their spreads were not too excited not much selections as compared to other hotel buffets. Wished they could have better and more selections It's a hit and miss experience The California roll was mediocre but the prime ribs were seasoned well and soft Some crab legs were not fresh while the shrimp cocktail was good

It was my mom's birthday and my sister and I wanted to take her here so here we are. We came in for their Sunday brunch buffet @10am which is priced at $60 a person at the time of me making this review. The buffet served many delectable foods from prime rib, crab legs, bottomless mimosas, and more. The service here was really good. The staff here is very friendly and were always checking in with us to ensure that we were having a great experience. They were also quick to refill our mimosas lol. The buffet is located inside a nice hotel. The place was clean and well organized. I definitely recommend checking this brunch buffet out if you haven't already! Try it out if you like. :)

Booked a Mother's Day lunch for this past weekend a month in advance via OpenTable. It is extremely hard to get someone on the phone there so you may need to go through Operator and to have someone call you back if you have questions about your reservation like I did where I wanted to update the reservation from 6 people to 8 people because it didn't allow me to do it on my own. I ended up not getting a call back but they did update my reservation luckily. Everything was smooth from check-in process, finding a parking (they have a garage for free parking), and getting seated. We got complimentary champagne & orange juice (yay mimosa!) There was two stations, we got seated in the banquet room for bigger groups & main hall. The host informed us food on both sides are the same as except main hall had ice cream machine. Service was good, but I'm giving it a 3 star for food. I don't think it was anything special for Mother's Day tbh. They had shell fishes like crabs but very difficult to eat even with the shell cracker, oysters, and shrimp. They also had prime rib, lamb on the rack and other meats. When you come to a buffet, you want to try everything so I got a little bit of everything. Food was okay overall, some stuff was cold like the beef/chicken that was on the small hot plate unfortunately. It was unfortunately a bit disappointing since we paid $75/pp but other than that, service was great.

I brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday with a buffet brunch, and wow--it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the host and servers were warm, welcoming, and on top of everything. The spread was impressive: an omelette station cranking out eggs just the way you like them, juicy prime rib, and tables overflowing with breakfast selections, salads, fruit, seafood, pastries, and desserts. But let's be real--we basically made a beeline for the crab legs and never looked back. Paired with bottomless mimosas (yes, included in the price), it was pretty much brunch perfection.

What a great deal for $60! I came here with my family for the first time. We came for the Sunday brunch buffet. We made reservations when it opened at 10. Everything was fresh and the service was friendly and attentive. Unlimited mimosas, crab legs, oysters, clam chowder, prime rib, shrimp, dessert.... The list goes on. There is a nice little stream to look at indoors. Parking was easy to find.

Is there any way to know if an upcoming sunday buffet Jan 11,2026 will have dungeness crab because I don't like snow crab?

The website indicates that their Sunday Brunch is from 1000 to 1300 and says that a customer will have 2hours from the reserved time. So my question is if I reserve 1300 (OpenTable slot), does that mean I still have 2h of enjoying the experience?

What is the price and times for Sunday brunch?

$60 for adult when I went yesterday.

Does Café Florian sell ground coffee Florian from Venice?

The have espresso and cappuccino. But not sure of the beans they're using. I do know that there coffee is starbuck

I got an iced HK style coffee + milk tea which I've never had before but was so delicious. I'd definitely come back to try the other fruity drinks too! we ordered the tom yum noodles, preserved vegetables & pork noodle soup, salt & pepper fries, and the HK style french toast with peanut butter. the french toast was our favorite- it was fluffy and chewy and was just like the HK classic. the noodle dishes were both so hearty and flavorful too, and the portions were a good size. it did take a bit long for everything to come out, but it did seem like there was only one person working and she was very kind and accommodating when we had questions about our order. we didn't mind at all, especially sitting outside and enjoying the view! overall, I'll for sure be back for the drinks and to try some other HK style street food.

I ordered the lemongrass pork jaw rice. There were only about six pieces of meat, and the lemongrass was chopped into very tiny pieces and mixed into the sauce. The problem was that the lemongrass was extremely tough, almost like small pieces of tree branches, and impossible to chew. I had to spit them out, but because they were chopped so finely and mixed throughout the sauce and meat, it was very difficult to eat. If this is how they prepare the dish, they should reconsider the way they cook and serve lemongrass dishes--or consider removing this dish from the menu. I also waited about 30 minutes for my food. After such a long wait, I expected the food to at least arrive hot, but it was already cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting in the kitchen for a while because there weren't enough staff to bring it out to customers. The table service and cleanliness were also disappointing. There were no staff available to clean the tables, and I actually saw customers moving previous customers' dirty plates to one side and wiping the table themselves. Our table was also extremely sticky. The restaurant really needs to review its food delivery process. Instead of having staff run around the dining area trying to find the right table number, they could simply have customers pick up their food using an order number. This would probably make the process much faster and more organized. Overall, the food was just so-so, the service was slow, and the whole restaurant felt very unorganized. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

It reminded me more of a busy boba shop where you grab your drink and go. We came around 1 PM and waited about 10 minutes. They only allow around six people to queue inside, so there was a pretty steady line of people waiting outside. This place gets BUSY. We tried the black sesame iced latte and a single origin pour over. The pour over was easily a 10/10 for me. I love light roasts that are super fruit forward, bright, and almost tea like, and this was exactly that. The barista was also incredibly friendly and even shared his recipe with me, which I really appreciated. The black sesame latte was one of the drinks we kept seeing on social media, so obviously we had to try it. Unfortunately, it was not our favorite. The black sesame tasted pretty grainy and bitter, which clashed with the sweetness of the coffee rather than complementing it. I would probably give that drink a 3/5. One thing I really liked is their whole bean selection. They had a ton of freshly roasted coffee available, including beans from Hydrangea and Black & White. Overall, Kaizen gets a 4/5 from me. The pour over alone is enough to bring me back, but I was expecting a little more from their black sesame iced latte
