We stopped here for lunch on our way from the Eugene airport. It is a very cozy sort of place, definitely a local diner with lots of regulars. The food was standard diner fare (burgers, salads, sandwiches) but everything tasted really good. My Meatloaf Melt was greasy (but then, that is normal for a place like this) but my husband really enjoyed his Big Pig burger. The thing we all liked, though, was that the fries were seasoned and cooked just right! Not too dry, not too greasy, just tasty! Awesome!! This is the new restaurant in our area, and already it's the best place to eat in our small town ... Arguably the best burgers in the Eugene/Springfield area as well. The atmosphere is meh, but the food is excellent. My husband and I visited on a busy Friday night, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. We splurged and ordered buffalo wings as an appetizer. We got about 8 wings (sold by weight, not volume), which were lightly breaded and thoroughly coated in thick, spicy sauce and served with bleu cheese dressing for dipping. So good! We each had a burger. I tried the "Blue Moon" (mushrooms, onion and bleu cheese) and it was delicious. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger and was surprised by the generous amount of bacon he received. I ordered my hamburger well-done; it was cooked all the way through (no pink) but was still tender and juicy. Each meal came with a good-sized portion of thick cut fries. We were both impressed by the service and food quality. We'll definitely be Friday night regulars from now on. read more

Such a delightful small town community restaurant. The staff there makes sure you have everything you need. We got take out from them several times through the pandemic and returned to eat in person once restrictions were lifted. So glad they were able to stay in business through a very difficult, uncertain time. They were able to keep their prices reasonable, and everything I've ever tried on their menu is EXCELLENT! Their fish tacos are absolutely amazing, and if you're luck enough to get their ribs on special, they are the best ribs you will ever enjoy here in the area. Meaty, moist and full of flavor. Served over a mound of sweet potato fries. They have a great selection of burgers and sandwiches, their fish and chips are very good. And they always have an enticing offering of homemade desserts and cookies. Don't miss this place, it's wonderful. read more

One of our favorite local restaurants here in Veneta,OR. We don't have too many food options in Veneta so having a nice little restaurant with amazing food and service is pretty awesome and rare in these neck of the woods. I usually get the Reuben which is by far the BEST Reuben sandwich EVER! My husband usually gets the burger and the whole time he's mowing down on it all you can hear is "mmmm" lol! Food is ALWAYS super hot and fresh. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. And it's never too busy. If a place is too busy we usually will choose somewhere else just because we like to be able to hold a conversation with one another and not hear everyone else's conversations lol The service has always been 100%. They are a new business and still working out the kinks but it has never once effected our dining experience with them. We both highly recommend Broadway Grill in Veneta, OR. After a long kayak trip we were looking for a good burger & brew. This place was perfect! Friendly fast service and plenty of indoor/out seating. Our burgers were fantastic- I had the traditional with bacon & hubby had Red Moon. Burgers were juicy, lots of fresh veges & tasty sauce. The bacon on mine was crumbly-crisp & plentiful. My side salad was classy AF with specially prepared veges & spicy ranch dressing. But wait- the FRIES were also to die for; big cut & lightly floured so they were soft inside & crispy outside. Let me first start by saying we have been regulars since we moved here 9 months ago and I mean 3+ times a week. Now I would like to say the owner/manager should rethink her current staff, on numerous occasions if it's within an hr of closing the staff acts like we're a burden, last night I called an hour before close they wouldn't answer the phone, then answered and hung up, so I jumped in the car and drove down there to order to go and they shut off the lights and open sign as we pulled in and locked up about 45 minutes early. It is very poor customer service and I feel they think it's a choice on whether or not the want to do their jobs. We love the food, we have had a good experience when they are being managed but otherwise it is very cold and rude like the customer is a burden to them. Unfortunately due to this we will not be continuing customers. read more

We just had a $25 lunch that wasn't worth it. Hubby had cheeseburger/fries, and I with a dinner salad with their pulled pork. The food was great can't complain about that but the service was lousy!! They weren't busy and it was lunch time and we couldn't get a refill on our drinks!! If I wanted lousy service I would have stayed home. This was our first and last time here. read more

We like this place, it's a nice addition to the limited culinary choices of a restaurant stunted location, we live in Veneta. As in every hospitality establishment, boo-boos' happen but they make it right. The chef has this weird notion that a Ruben should be chopped up like a Philly Cheese (also the meatloaf sandwich) so I don't order them anymore. In general good home style cooking with decent choices in beverages. Service is good, food is hot, atmosphere is casual like my favorite work shoes. read more

I can't think of anyone giving this place less than 5 stars. I would easily award more than 5 for their ribs alone - finger licking goodness that falls off the bone and is full of flavor! Tri tip is cooked very differently what what we are used to in Central California - this restaurant puts a very unique spin on cooking tri tip and it is a winner. I loved the meats, I loved the sides and their salads taste every bit fresh and local. I never imagined I'd be raving about lettuce or carrots, but here I am. Salads are the bomb! Our family are definitely fans of this restaurant and we hope to be back there soon. read more

Located a few blocks off the main road, this place features great burgers and sandwiches loaded with flavor. Our favorites were the Red Moon burger, Blue Moon burger, Hot Mama, and BBQ pork sandwich. The tuna melt was mediocre. They offer a wide variety of beer and wine as well. read more

The food here is great. The menu items by title sound pretty ordinary, but they manage to add an upscale twist to the flavors and presentation. If you are lucky enough to be there when they serve their homemade cakes for dessert, then splurge! Actually all the dessert items we have tried were yummy. So I just went here for lunch...first visit. Upon entering we were not acknowledged. Server was texting on her phone. We were standing right in front of her and didn't even get a hello. I had to interrupt her texting to ask if we are supposed to seat ourselves, to which she then said, "ya go seat yourself please". We waited 10 mins to have our order taken. It would have been understandable if it was busy but it wasnt. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak...he like it. I ordered the old school burger (8.50) minus the onion, pickle and tomato and asked for cheddar cheese on it. When we did get our food, my burger bun tasted like burnt vegetable oil and my slice of cheddar cheese was a half slice of American kraft looking cheese...which I was charged a dollar extra for. The fries were soggy and taste funny. I try to be supportive of a new business in veneta...not much out here but I think I'll have to be eating at home or somewhere else because their food just wasn't worth the money. Compares to countryside grill out here...which is not a good thing. I won't eat there either. And to top it off, our server never showed back up until we finished to drop off a check and to ask if we wanted more water..now that we were done with our meal. I know it's hard to start a business but you should know even with bad food it can be made better with great customer service. I'll go to eugene for a burger from now on. read more

Oh yeah! Do you want the best charbroiled burger or Rib eye in town? Melt in your mouth happiness. I ordered the 14oz Ribeye and was blown away. A lovely bleu cheese butter melts over my steak as I slice into a cooked to perfection charbroiled steak. I have had the meatloaf as well and it happens to be a knockout also. The food here is top notch! I have eaten about half of the menu in the year I've been coming here and I'm yet to be disappointed. I mostly come here for their burgers. They are excellent and are easily as good as you would find at the more expensive places in Eugene (like Cornucopia). Their attention to detail is what makes their burgers outstanding! The beef patty, is very good. The bun is soft and slightly sweet. It has just enough substance to hold things together and not fall apart. The lettuce, onion and pickles are always crisp and fresh and flavorful (I'm not a tomato guy, but I am sure they are fresh and flavorful as well)! The cheese is very good and the bacon, OMG the bacon, its the most amazing bacon I've ever had! They assemble the burger in a very specific way, to ensure that all of these amazing flavors are in every bite (like I said, attention to detail)! There Fry's taste like they are blanched first and then fried to crispy golden brown perfection for each order. But if you really want a treat, order the sweet potato fries. I don't know if they are house made or not. But I do know that they are the best I've ever had! If you love good burgers and haven't had one here, you are missing out my friend! They also have a nice selection of micro brews, and off the hook desserts. But that is for another review, this one is long enough! I got an AMAZING 3rd Street Cobb salad and it was SOO good! Super fresh, and just the right amount of everything and it was not only delicious but was presented beautifully and super fancy! My sister got the Classic Grilled Cheese and it was very good! Very cheesy and crispy! Very good customer service and the owner is such a sweet lady. She really makes you feel welcome. Whoa! This exceeded our expectations by far. The service was excellent, the waitress had some great recommendations, and the food was awesome. Walking in, it looks like a dive-y diner, but while they serve similar Americana burgers and sandwiches, the quality is high. My turkey croissantwich vanished - everything ingredient was fresh and delicious. The bloke's pastrami reuben (with bacon) was also great. The fries were, surprisingly, some of the best I've had - and I'm not that into fries. Hot, perfectly crispy, and flavorful. We finished up with a tasty fresh-baked peanut butter cookie, while the couple at the table next to us was having vapors over the strawberry cake, fresh from the garden. So glad we stopped by! Love this place!!! So few good options out here in Veneta and down the Hwy 126 corridor. But this is a gem. It's only been open for a few months but everything is dialed in. The food is great both for a sit down dinner or a lunch take out. Also....great beer on tap! And my personal favorite part is...when you walk in, the first few lines of Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" is written in calligraphy on the wall. It's the proprietor's favorite song. Love this place! We have yet to go beyond burgers (black bean for me, the vegetarian). Absolutely tastealicious!! Their seasoned fries are extra crunchy on outside, soft on inside. Dessert was pumpkin cheesecake drizzled with caramel sauce, pecan pieces, whipped cream, and cinnamon. OMG!!! All desserts made in house. Super friendly family staff. Crazy good! Starting with the house salad... fresh local produce, shoestring beets, homemade cheesy garlic croutons... mouth watering. We ordered a regular burger and shared the whole meal. It was obvious that the meat was local, really good flavor with grilled onions, pickle inside. The fries were also homemade with a unique blend of spice salt seasoning. We eat here often, and the food never fails! The service depends on which server you get. Varying from friendly and attentive (one of her daughters), to so-so friendly and less attentive (owner). I still give it five stars, AND they have the best beer on tap. read more
