A full blta, looks way bigger in the photo than it was in real life. Ate the whole sando in less than ten minutes and was still hungry.
    O S.

Very disappointed. I have been coming here on and off for years and years, they have always been a tiny bit pricey, but their portions have always been good. Today I paid $22 for this "full" BLTA with a side of pasta salad. When I got it, I was shocked how tiny the sandwich was, how burnt and hard the bacon was and the toast on the bottom of the bread...absolutely pathetic, honestly no flavor, no care went into this at all. For paying over $20 for a sandwich I would expect some freshly fried bacon and a little more love put into my food. This is crazy how little bacon and poor quality this was. However, the pasta salad still remains my favorite. I don't know if I would come back at this point.

We had garden salad and cheese bread, and 1 Thai chicken sandwich, and Pastrami on Rye and I had a Rubin which was excellent. Our waitress was very good her name is Kailani. It was upstairs and very nice.

We ordered the Chicken Pesto and the NY Pastrami- Reuben style sandwiches on Focaccia bread and both were absolutely delicious. We had the side salad that was included though we wish we had maybe a chip option instead. The restaurant is located up stairs and has local art for sale, as the decor, against the beautiful brick walls. Our server was Goose and he was excellent!!

The carpet in particular is somewhat outdated and very dreary. We were seated right away with an evening reservation. Our server was the most delightful, helpful as well as professional person. She definitely made for an enjoyable experience. The menu is nicely broad with some very good and interesting selections. For an appetizer I selected the Alsatian Tarte Flambe. With the description of a "tarte" plus "puffed pastry" I was somewhat surprised when what looked like a flatbread arrived. Although somewhat true to the description I expected something like a cup shaped pastry. It was delicious enough so no complaints over the ingredients and flavor. If anything it tasted a bit top heavy with vinegar, yet still enjoyable. I washed it down with a Schramsberg Prosecco which was a perfect accompaniment. For an entree I choose the Grilled 6oz Petit Tender (medium rare) with asparagus and scalloped potatoes topped by a red wine and berry sauce. It was excellent, flavorful with the meat very tender. I was very pleased. It was an abundant portion so I was quite full after consuming it. My dining companion had the grilled meatloaf with ground filet mignon and pork sausage. It is baked and then grilled. I tried some and it is EPIC. It has to be one of the best meatloaf preparation I ever tasted. Bravo on this dish! We shared a bottle of Tempranillo to accompany it which was perfect. For dessert we shared a nice and refreshing mint chocolate chip ice cream which was generously comped as we were there for a special occasion. Thank you! I would definitely return and try other dishes, although the meatloaf is a must standout. Overall a very good experience.

The beer was lukewarm, which was really disappointing. Because it cost 9 bucks and everything on my plate. Though it looked okay, the French fries were excellent. And the ranch, dressing and everything else was a total total loss and disappointment. I didn't ask me how I wanted my patties. They were both beyond middle. Well, and probably reheated, I could see a skin on the mustard. I used to work in the restaurant industry, so I know. The cook tried to make things look pretty, but it might as well have been a school cafeteria except cafeteria. Ladies are friendlier. I think the owner of this place has given up. The only reason I would go there ever ever again. Besides the 4 semi drunk young men who seem to need to be served by 2 bartender. Ladies who didn't seem to have time to bring as forks. Plates, check-in on us water. I'm telling you, we're talking beyond the loss of basics. However, the question remains somehow. Because it was a large table and it wasn't organized in advance. We did not deserve appropriate service. And I'm saying hands down, I would never, ever ever ever recommend party to go there, unless, of course, they were friends with the owners of the bartenders who liked them. It was literally the edge of disgust, and luckily, I was with really, really good. And nice people and our intentions were really positive. And we made the most of it, but it couldn't have been more disappointing. Yeah, you can send me a gift certificate and ask me to remove this review. And if I can come in and have an ice cold beer, that's not even in a pint glass. For 9 bucks I'll remove it.

Our server was prompt, polite, and friendly, which we appreciated. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with lots of natural light and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd describe it as "Chico nice" -- casual and trendy, but not fine dining or especially refined service. The food was okay to good, but nothing memorable. We ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, a beer, and a sweet drink, and the total came to about $72. Everything was perfectly fine, just not the kind of food or experience that would make me want to return, especially for a birthday celebration. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual lunch, but it didn't feel particularly special for the price.

I scoured the menu and was excited to find so many hash choices. I was moved by the Irish Burrito, but ordered Linda's omelette; while my daughter went with the eggs Benedict. In a town that takes its breakfast seriously, and where I've probably worked my way through more menus and reviews than I should admit, this one quietly climbed right to the top of my list. My omelette was exactly what you want when you order one. Fluffy without being dry, full of flavor without trying too hard, and cooked like someone in the kitchen actually cares about eggs. The ingredients were balanced and fresh, not just thrown together as filler. The hollandaise sauce was original, I couldn't find a lemon, cheese or any other overwhelming base, it stood out. The hash was perfect. My daughter's eggs Benedict looked like a postcard version of what that dish should be. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise that didn't feel heavy, and ham that actually tasted like ham instead of just salt delivery. One of those plates where you steal a bite "just to try it" and immediately understand the decision. The real surprise for me was the potato pancake I picked instead of the usual hashbrowns. Light, airy inside, crispy outside, and seasoned just right. Honestly one of the better breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere. If potatoes had a hall of fame, this one would at least get a nomination. The place itself has a warm, comfortable feel. Wood tones, rooster themes everywhere, a relaxed local energy where people look like regulars and first-timers feel welcome anyway. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. In a city full of strong breakfast spots, this might actually be my current favorite. That's not something I say lightly.
