Not what I expected. I wanted sauce over my shrimp and requested it but I was not going back.

Food is always good but we spent over $60 cash and the lady wouldn't give us 1 extra mild sauce nor exchange it for the hot sauce we didn't prefer. Customer service is very important and she wasn't kind. Please make sure you're certain about what sauce you want. Can't change your mind or sauce. read more

The food is as good as always but the service is lacking and I wonder how much money they miss out on because of the their phone situation where they don't answer and constantly let the phones ring! Would probably make a hell of a lot more money if they would get a better phone system to handle the volume of calls coming in and train the staff better about answering and placing paying customers on hold while finish helping the current customer they're with! read more

I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Now I live in Michigan and still when I come out to Chicago for business monthly I would stop in and take food back to all my grown children. Spending close to $100. However this last weekend the employees decided to send me outside to use the restroom while allowing another customer to use their facilities. Definitely discrimination. I wonder if they know that if they have indoor seating they cannot refuse customers from using their restroom. I just found that out from my lawyer. Very bad business. read more

I was in the area looking for something not too heavy to eat and came upon this place! Service was quick and courteous! I like that they have daily specials! Today is Monday and the special was 1/2 pound of shrimp, so I got that and two 3 pieces wings for my sons. Total came to $23....‍ Pros are the shrimp were good sized shrimp and they were clean and fried perfectly! Very tasty! The chicken was made fresh...came out piping hot like the shrimp and the fries ....however the con is the wings were very bland! It's like they just floured and fried them... This was my first time going, after two people told me about this place, how good the shrimp is, and ( IT IS TRUE !) , The Shrimp is Very Good , Freshly cooked and Breaded to perfection ! I was VERY Pleased with my order of food. Broadway Shrimp in E.C. is a great little shrimp and fish shack. The seafood is awesome, and one of very few that I know that sell whole fried catfish. I usually buy fish, but decided to try the whole chicken wings, which was very disappointing. I'll continue going for seafood but will pass on the rest! read more

Wonderful food for years in the east chicago area, however I gave them 4 stars for one reason, they only except cash. Seriously get with the times Broadway Shrimp. OMG!!!!! Broadway shrimp totally lived up to my expectations and everything I've always heard. The shrimp was fresh and it didn't have that fishy smell like other places I have visited. I called my order in because I live 15 minutes always and it was ready when I arrived. The sauces and breading reminded me of another popular place in Chicago. This place is great some of the best shrimp in the area. I get the jumbo shrimp with mild sauce can't beat it! They even throw in crackers and a small macaroni salad with your order. If your ever in the east Chicago area definitely worth checking this place out. read more

I love this place.I grew up in East Chicago..so this place has always been apart my life. I am never disappointed when I eat here. Although I truly think they should make the drive thru for pick orders only.I go thru the drive thru I still have to pull around and wait. Nevertheless that won't stop me for eating here.
