The woman up front is a you know what! Bad attitude doesn't even know how to smile or greet customers. Same for the guy sitting at the desk. When you're a small business owner you should stand up when a customer walks in smile and greet them instead of having your nose stuck in a phone. I recently took my car in to have the bumper replaced after it was hit in a parking lot. I have seen this shop's work before and thought it would be well taken care of. After I got the car back the first time, I noticed the lights and the sensors were not working. After that I did the full inspection in the sunlight and noticed the paint had pebbles in it. Then I saw a ding on the fender that looked like someone tried to poorly cover up with mismatched paint. I took it back to point these items out, it took another week and it's still not fully repaired. This was the best they could do. The quality is not as good as it used to be, needless to say I will not be going back for a third try. The price does not match the quality of work. read more

I wanted to say that I had an excellent experience with Brodies. I had a little front end damage and State Farm recommended Brodie's which is close to my home. In addition to fixing the front end, I had them remove some emerging rust as well as repaint the rear bumper. The job they did was so good the car looks brand new! (its 10 years old!). While in the process of making arrangements to get my Car repaired, there were questions that I need answered or clarified. I spoke with Robin Keele who works there. I have not spoken with anyone so rude ever in my entire life. This person is angry and has no time for customers. She makes it way too obvious that she doesn't want to talk and wants to get rid of you as fast as she can. She has the worst customer service skills and well in fact she has none. She was argumentative and started ranting she is busy because no one wants to work because of what the government did and now she is overworked. Obviously she hated her job but she should not take that on me. I am a customer and I demand to be treated right and with respect. When I complained about her demeanor she hanged up. read more

There's nothing like a New Year's Eve party at the mall restaurant. Then you come outside at 9pm and find that some idiot has hit and run your car bumper. So off to the local speed shop for a small repair.... Brodies is a single-owner shop that does it right. Their repair price was fair, and they even washed and dried my entire JEEP, AND wiped down the interior. All for a relatively small bumper repair! Did I mention that they gave me a ride home and picked me up after the repair was done? Giddyup! I'd buy pizza or shoes from these guys too if they sold that stuff. That's real customer service, and the car wash was a really nice touch. Go see them. As for the Joe Y. comment, I cannot understand that and have to think that there was more to that guy's story. My daughter got into a minor accident with my wife's 2000 Jeep Cherokee and basically cracked the grill, bent the bumper and frame (hood could not be opened) and passenger side fender was bubbled up. Since we were new to the area, my choice for a body shop was based purely on reviews and in the Bloomingdale area, Brodie's had it hand's down (through Google). When I took the Jeep in, I was greeted by a nice lady who came out to look at the Jeep, assess the damage and gave me a ball park figure on what it would cost to fix it. It was way over what I could afford, so she gave me some other options and I settled to just have them pull the frame back out so that I could at least pop open the hood and leave the damage as is. She told me to bring it in Monday morning and they will do what they can with the "cosmetic" stuff after the frame was pulled out. So on Monday morning (9am) I took in the Jeep and was told that they would call when it was done. By 4pm, I still had not received any calls from them so I called them instead. Was told that the Jeep was ready so I went to pick it up. Was extremely surprised and pleased to see that the frame was pulled out, the bumper was back in place and even the fender looked like it had a couple of dings in it. You can still see the damage but in comparison from before and after, it looked 100% better than it was. They were able to knock out most of the damage and save me some money. The final cost was very close to the estimate they gave me. All in all, my first experience at Brodie's shows me that they are honest, straight up people who do great work at a decent price. read more

Friendly people, fixed my car like new. Very happy with the work, and would go back. Took about 5 days from drop off to pick up. They have a nice relationship with Enterprise car rental, so that made things more convenient as well. My only issue was no communication on a time frame or any updates on how long to expect the work to take. Only time they called was to say the car was done. Will definitely go back, just wish they were a bit better about letting us know approximate times. read more

Well I thought that businesses can't remove reviews. It seems that this sham of a business who lied and didn't fix my car for 3 months either reported my last review or had it removed. I guess that shouldn't surprise anyone considering he owns the tow yard that all the cars in Bloomingdale get towed to and gets his kickbacks from village from either. When Brodies promises he can fix your car because he see the dollar signs from your insurance company run! When he tells you he removed your vehicle from his shop without your knowledge or permission because he doesn't have a tool, nothing but lies! This is the most deceptive business I've ever dealt with in my life. Even Robin lies about providing your insurance company with the proper information to move forward with a claim. I will return every day that my review is reported or removed. You did nothing but deceive and lie to a client because of greed. After 3 months my car looks the same.. read more

Ok so let me start by saying this was all my fault brand new car was insured with State Farm the first six months and decided to save some money. I decided to insured my car with some low company insurance. My result was car accident! Ok so my insurance did not give me many option this being the nearest place (23 miles away) Brodie's Auto Body. Long story short my car was in this shop for over two months they always had excuses! And they never try calling me keeping up to date overall job was ZERO stars! I had to go back and make them replace my tail light it was crack but they decided it was ok to install! Come on! They keep the car for two months and they can't fix it right? I don't Understand how there in business! One more thing they broke my stock radio and did not replace it! Brodie's is the best in the business. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I have been taking my cars to Brodie's for over 16 years. My friends and family (as well as my clients!) have also used Brodie's and feel the same way. I love my cars - and take a lot of pride in them and I know they are in good hands when I turn over the keys to Brodie's. Mike is wonderful - responsive, kind, knowledgeable and makes sure the job (no matter how big or how small) gets done correctly the first time. Robin is amazing - always available, knows this business like the back of her hand, and knows how to get the job done! I never have to worry about the insurance company not allowing the proper repairs to be made or the proper parts to be used. Robin guarantees that the stress is off of me and she is a pro when dealing with the insurance companies to make sure that everything is agreed to in a timely manner. The woman Robin Brodie runs this location is completely unprofessional. Has nothing but attitude over the phone and overall sucks as a human being. As a Marine veteran, I have a very strong grasp of professionalism, this woman treats any type of foreign customer like shit. if you scroll down you will see another negative rating/post about this location who is also of the Hispanic community. Since asking/searching around for an auto body, I have heard nothing but negative reviews about this place and how she treats others of color. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. "Brodie's is a racist establishment who shares no respect for people of other color" - Another prior customer. She will also try to lie about damages and claim her customer are place false claims!! Brodies has fixed one major repair on our mazda, and removed & repaired rust on our toyota. Both times the work was outstanding. I love the warmth of their office, and his wife works the front office, so nice. Went in at 5 min to 5 on a Friday (hate doing this but it was the only time I had!). I needed just a simple repair and not only did the lady at the front desk remember me from when I called, she was friendly and got my car in immediately. My car was in a minor accident and needed some work done. Took it to Brodies's. If you take your car here be prepared for them to be incredibly rude to you. My car was repaired in Sept. 2014, so I've had some time to cool down & still upset by the way I was treated - by the owner! I took my car in, picked it up it and noticed that I had little dents in my bumper that wasn't there before. There was 2 sets of little circle marks you would get from a license plate holder (when moving around my car they must park the cars so close that they bumped it from behind with another car). I asked about it and the owner LAUGHED at me. My car was 4 years old, it's not new I wasn't super mad about it but I thought it would be nothing for them to acknowledge they did it and maybe offer to fix (since that is what they do). No, the response I got was a rude arrogant laugh. I talked to my insurance adjuster to see if from the pictures he took (just 2 days prior to bringing in the car) would show no back bumper marks. My insurance adjuster offered for me to have my car fixed at another body shop for those marks. I didn't take him up on it, I didn't want to increase the damage on the claim. I told several friends about my experience and was told by two of them "oh, if I would have know you were going there, I would have told you to try another place." They too had a bad experience there. read more

We have been coming here for a while and in the past they WERE good. I do not understand what happened. I had got into an accident where the driver reversed into my bumper. After I received a check from the insurance I decided to bring it in to brodies. They ordered a new bumper for me and when they called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up i found that the bumper was not put on correctly! it is as if it is shifted off. After trying to reason with them, they became very hostile. Never have I felt such disrespect. When I politely asked if they could adjust the bumper correctly they refused and wanted more money for something they did wrong! Be warned! if you want to pay more for a job that should have been done correctly go else where! Not worth the time, money, disrespect, and hassle. Save yourself the headache and stress. I don't know if it is new management or what, but this place is going downhill. Id rather go anywhere else. Looks like I now have to find another shop to fix their mistake! read more
