Got invited here for a bridal shower last weekend and I have to say, it was not my favorite. I've heard a few friends mention this place before so I was excited to check it out. There was another bridal shower next to us, but very close. We had guests putting their presents at the wrong table. Also, they allowed us to use the gazebo from 11-2 for our party and around 1:30 some guy pretty much took over and put his DJ booth right in front of our dessert table. Also, I personally didn't like how people could show up and just claim a spot as close to your tent as they wanted because it is still public while the parties are going on. But I understand. We lucked out with nice weather so that was great. It looked like the grounds were well taken care of and more than enough seating around for a normal customer.

Looking for a hidden gem of a vineyard with a wide variety of fruit wines to choose from? Diamond Hill Vineyards is your best bet in RI! We figured it wouldn't be too busy on a chilly March weekday and we were right! We had the patio to ourselves with a sweeping view of the Vineyard's backyard. The owner was working and she was so friendly, warm, and excited to talk about the wines with us. Inside you can get a full pour for $8 or four 2oz sample pours for the same price! We opted for the samples so that we could try more wines. I got the blackberry, cranberry apple, dry Riesling, and the unoaked Chardonnay. You can even do blends of some of the fruit wines if that's your jam! There's seating inside and the patio in the back is covered so if it's a little drizzly outside it's no problem. I can't hardly wait to come back once the weather gets nicer in the spring!

With the whole coronavirus end of the world drama it was nice to finally actually go somewhere. All the tables were spread out plenty of room apart more than 6 feet so social distancing was not an issue. They have a huge outdoor area with tables that you can sit at your allowed to bring all your own food. You can go in and buy wine by the bottle and they will open it for you and give you some glasses. I think normally you can buy wine by the glass but right now with the restrictions that's not allowed. This place is so adorable and it's just a perfect spot to go on a sunny day and relax.

What a hidden Gem! Absolutely loved it here. The owner was super friendly and their wines were delicious! We loved the Black Berry and Cranberry Apple! They sell meats, cheese and crackers or you are allowed to bring in your own food to enjoy with a bottle or two of your favorite wines. Cannot wait to come back here!

Love this beautiful spacious family owned vineyard, it's very peaceful. I loved the cranberry and blackberry wines. Will go back for the view. They let you bring your own lunch. They have wind tasting 4 for $8. They have cheese, crackers, some snacks like chips, chocolates that you can buy.

Super cute! I came here with a friend on a Saturday around 12:30 during the summer and the place was pretty busy. It's $3 for a tasting but the fee is waived if you buy a bottle of wine. It's pretty cramped inside so we had to wait 5 or so minutes before we were greeted and able to start our tasting simply because a group of 4 was already doing a tasting. They give you 5 wines to taste and all are so-so. They won't blow you away but they are very unique tastes. Some made of cherries and some black berries. The blueberry port was my personal favorite. We chose a bottle of wine and brought our own snacks of hummus, crackers and cheese and sat ourselves outside in the sun. Like I said, it was busy and there were some kids running around the yard and playing. It wasn't loud but a very peaceful outdoor experience. The winery gave us glasses and plates to use for our snacks. One thing I found odd is there was no rinsing our glass between wines or cleansing of the palate.

I LOVE this vineyard! Found this hidden gem a few years ago and I go back all the time. The place is run by this lovely lady and her mother. The wine is great, and they have so many unique flavors. They have outdoor seating, a covered patio with heaters and also an inside so it is great for any season. They even sell some cheese and crackers inside but you are able to bring your own food which is great. Pets are also allowed!! Definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

Those who know me know I am a huge fan of wine so imagine my surprise when I discovered there is a winery right near me three exits away in Cumberland. It's called the Diamond Hill Vineyard. This is a much smaller operation than most vineyards I frequent but it's quickly climbed to the top of my list of favorites. This a family operation and the family lives right above the tasting room. This may be the most charming home I've ever been on. So cozy and comfortable. All types of neat tchotchkes and decor. And speaking of comfortable the wine makers were there themselves Pouring the wines. Chantelle did our tasting and I really Enjoyed how much pride she had in her wines. Nancy is her mom and from what I understood was the one who has started the business. She was walking around saying hello and asking how the wines were. She saw I had blueberry and poured some Blackberry into it since she had some customers who enjoyed it that way. They really make you feel like your a Visitor in their home. Oh yeah the wine. Almost forgot That part ! They make their wine from fruits and it's delicious. They have about six different kinds right now. I tried them all and ended up with two bottles of my favorites. One is blueberry. It was incredibly Fresh and the flavor popped right on my tongue. The other is cranberry Apple. This one tasted like cranberry juice. Wow. If your not careful you'd forget there is alcohol In it ! It's almost 15% so one or two glasses is plenty. Pricewise they are very reasonable. The tastings are free and a glass is six dollars if you want a whole one. They are generous with the pours too. A bottle averages around fifteen dollars which is a great price. They also have a frequent buyer card which you can get one free after ten bottles. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Support our local business And enjoy good company and great wines !

Dinamond Hill Vineyards is such a cute vineyard. The wine is delicious and the staff are very kind. It is family run and they treat their guests like family as well. The grounds are small and well kept. They have a small function area too which would be perfect for a bridal shower.

Nice patio to sit on and enjoy your wine!

I hope to get here during the warm season as it had the potential to be super beautiful and relaxing. We came on my birthday for a simple wine tasting on a chilly December Sunday. Expecting to be just one of a few people, we were greeted by a full house of wine revelers and FREE tastings of about 8 wines! This was the first place I've experienced which offered tastings at no cost so it was a pleasant surprise. Our pourer (I'm sure there's an official term but let's go with pourer!) was so friendly, explained the wines and gave us ideas for pairings for the holidays...so much so we bought a bottle of the blackberry wine to pair with prosecco for Christmas dinner and it was fantastic! We also tried the blueberry wine due to the frequent Yelp mentions and we loved the smoky yet palate friendly taste to it.

"Walk in as strangers, leave as friends."…read more If that's not a saying that makes you want to head there now, then I don't know what is LOL! Obviously, there is more to the new renovated location of La Cantina than this saying but I will say I was pretty impressed when I saw it and knew I had to add it to my review. Let's just say it is pretty accurate. We did leave as friends since we made a few at the bar and then some. Just saying! La Cantina winery in Franklin, MA used to be a small wine bar that offered wine tasting flights and minimal food. BUT, now it is in a stunning new location (not far from their old stomping grounds). Fun Fact: It used to be a Mechanic garage. Well, wait until you see how it has turned from fixing cars to wine making and tasting. YOU HAVE GOT TO COME HERE! Parking is easy with plenty of spots. They have a lot of room at their gorgeous bar, but they also have high tops and tables for families or a large group. And, they host events here too; birthday parties, bridal showers, and anything in between, this place is it. I actually want to hold one of my milestone birthday parties here but well keep the number a secret for now. Service: Alana was our bartender and she was wonderful. Always asking us what we needed and how were doing. You don't get this upscale service any where else. And, when I wanted another sample of something she gave it to me without a fuss. Always with a smile on her face, she was the best. Wine: They have an excellent wine menu to choose from and they offer flights for about $25 pp. Flights are the best way to try multiple wines. I personally loved most of the red wines with Petit Sirah being my favorite. My husband loved their Barbera! I did sample their Sauv Blanc too which was nice but it was too cold to have a full pour. Food: Their menu is great with a ton of options from charcuterie, to tapas and some entrees. I will say some of their items can get expensive but definitely worth it. We started with a few cheeses and prosciutto. Then we ordered one of their popular pizzas called La Cantina. Everything was fresh, made in house with their beautiful pizza oven right smack in the middle of the bar. You have got to see this thing, its huge! Overall: If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We had the best time and we can't wait to go back. Franklin is not far from where we live but still a good 30 minute drive and also not far from the Wrentham outlets. We didn't have to make a reservation for a Sunday afternoon but I bet Saturdays can get pretty busy. I just loved everything about this wine bar and I know you will too! Cheers~

When I arrived she and her husband were having a very genial conversation with the owner Dave at the outdoor seating area. The vineyard is clearing some land and the entrance drive, at the time of my visit, was strewn with downed timber and a large dirt parking area at the end. There is a sign on the street pointing you into the driveway. Once the introductions were over Dave told us about the vineyards he has and the one's he plans to plant. Where he gets grapes from and how he produces his wine. We walked in to the converted barn which is beautifully decorated with a large bar in the center and comfortable seating areas around the perimeter. They have a rack of bottles ready to be sold and a gift box display. The day we went there were four or five wines available. Once a type has sold out, it's done for the season so those who know and like Dave's wine know when to head over to make their purchases. Some offerings are ready in Spring while others are not available until Autumn. I ended up purchasing two bottles each of three of the available wines. The Riesling is a bit dry and not too sweet. Lovely. The Cab had a nice 'full mouth' feel to it and a clean finish. I have been disappointed by other RI wine producers and to be honest I didn't have high expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised. We also had an opportunity to meet Dave's wife and children. This is truly a family business. With each new arrival, Dave made a point to say hello, get their name, tell them his and pour them a glass. We sampled each of the available wines but others came in just to enjoy a glass. The atmosphere was such that everyone was chatty with each other even though we were strangers. It made for a very enjoyable visit. This vineyard is in the woods and the drive up is just beautiful along winding back roads. On a beautiful, sunny Saturday, it made for a very enjoyable day. If I could suggest just one thing it would be to offer a small snack. This may be a sticky wicket as they are a wine producer, not a restaurant and I'm sure that brings up a whole other set of laws. During our visit his 'intern' showed up with a spinach and pepperoni calzone which he offered all around. It was just delightful and I was very happy to have something to eat after sampling several wines. Maybe next time I'll just bring along a snack to share. I hope that's OK.

But thought that since we were on the first row that we could still easily find a place to sit and have a good time. The signage was a bit confusing on where to go for a tasting flight, as all arrows on a faded board were pointing up a hill, when we actually wanted to go to the building that all we saw was a sign that said employees only. We finally got our flights, but there was nowhere to sit, as the picnic tables were full, and there wasn't much flat ground to set up our folding chairs. We were offered a seat at a picnic table by some very nice people, who were just as confused as us until someone offered them their table. We tried our wines, which were okay, and left. It was just an awkward setup and there seemed to be lots of confusion on where people were supposed to go.
