We needed somewhere to grab dinner on our way to Canyonlands to spend some quality time catching the views and walking some trails. Food was very good; salmon dish was tasty (not the biggest portion but no complaints). Waitress was a doll and told you exactly what to order if you were waffling between two items. They got us in and out of there, which worked great for our schedule! Nice place and clearly a town favorite; there were people waiting outside before it opened at 4:30pm!

Disappointed the sirloin was inedible. Extremely tough -long wait not worth it. The chix salad was huge but tasteless

For Moab tourists, the cavernous log cabin feel of this restaurant makes for a great setting to take in a family meal - with a large fireplace, local photos and (of course) ubiquitous broken raft oars. The servers are authentic, know the menu well and ensure you feel like a valued guest!! As for food, one theme stood out: Bacon and Range. Our family steered toward the wonderful chicken sandwich (gluten free bread was solid) and the Cobb Salad. The sweep potato fried are topped with a homemade sugary syrup (a bit sweet for my palate). While the food is not Five Star, it surely made for a solid meal in Moab.

We stopped here for dinner. They are dog friendly and have a great patio with heaters to sit outside. Our golden retriever loved it and they brought her out a fresh bowl of water along with our waters. We had the pleasure of being served by Melena. She was fantastic and super helpful! She made great recommendations for beer and food. I had the salmon that came with veges and mashed potatoes. The sauce was sweet and spicy. Cooked well. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. He gave it a 4/5. Sweet potato fries had a syrup drizzle that he said was too sweet and not needed. Hot sauce was great but the bun was a little thick. Overall good food, great service, and clean restaurants.

The Broken Oar has a cozy, woodsy cabin vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. It was a bit warm inside in the summer, but it cooled off as the evening went on. I had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and asparagus; delicious, though the potatoes came out a little cool. My husband enjoyed the burger's char, though the fries were just okay. Our waitress, Melena, was excellent....friendly, attentive, and quick. Overall, good food and great service, and I'd likely return.

"Westwater" Burger (close), Miners Cabin burger (far). Apologies for the bad photo.

The best restaurant in Moab. We ate out every day and this is the only one that wasn't disappointing.

BBQ sounded amazing and I've never had a platter like this before. I couldn't turn down the 3 meat platter to try everything that peaked my interest. Starting with the hush puppies, fried, sweet, and savory. Yum! The brisket was so tender and juicy. The ribs were also tender and fell off the bone. The andouille sausage had cheese throughout it and I felt like it was too oily and fatty from that, but that ended up being my husband's favorite. We devoured the sides too. The beans and mac and cheese were a must. If I had more stomach space I'd eat a dozen more hush puppies. Outdoor seating allows your furiends. Order at the counter and enjoy! And don't forget to try their house bbq sauce.

I really wanted ribs but at 7pm they were all out. Kind of surprising to not be able to get this at a BBQ place but, got the pulled pork meal instead. The pork itself was very well done, and delicious. And really liked that they put all sauces on the side for you to pick and add as much or as little as you want. They have different sides to pick from... mac-n-cheese is usually a must at BBQ restaurants, but I would recommend skipping it here. Not hot, cheesy enough and lacking flavor. The coleslaw, on the other hand, was a great side.

A sit down bar that (It's also family friendly ) The in depth: The aesthetic of Birdy's is one of the most unique I have ever seen anywhere. It's a good take on a 70s vibe with some nice warm lighting, they also have an adorable little shop in the back too. As for the food, we got their buttered bread board. They had a few different flavored butters to try on their in house made bread. Honestly as a starter it turned out to be pretty on point . I would recommend it as a solid starter for any group going here The main entree I got was the New York steak. Which turned out to not even be the best thing on the plate(but it was good). And you may say, "hey how can you order a steak and it's not the best thing on the plate?" Because they had some ASTONISHINGLY GOOD POTATOES! They had the perfect level of crispiness for both the normal and sweet potatoes. The biggest disappointment of the night was the peanut butter brownie. The reason for this was not because of how it tasted, it in fact tasted great, but it had the texture of a brownie that had been sitting out for a few hours and tossed in the microwave for 5 seconds. Short to say the brownie wasn't warm at all which kinda dampened the experience. All in all I'd say this is the only "modern-bar" experience in town, the food was good and there social aspect is more of what you'd expect in a downtown city bar. 4/5

If you like crunchy fries, this place nails them. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the space is huge-half of it is set up as a restaurant, while the other side is considered a pub, where you can order drinks without food. Since we were hungry, we ordered food anyway. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the hostess even brought Luna a treat, which made her day. We stayed inside so Luna could cool off before heading to Arches National Park. The only downside for me was the margarita, which was far too sour for my taste. Still, the overall vibe, great fries, and pet-friendly attitude made this a solid stop in Moab.
