Brolly Hut is a much loved institution in Inglewood. It has a cool Umbrella shaped building and umbrella shaped lights inside. My boyfriend and I like to take our classic car to classic burger stands all around LA and Brolly Hut does not disappoint for a Classic LA burger experience. The burger itself is the standard burger stand fare, it's exactly what you expect from one of these burger joints. The bacon on the bacon burger was quality and the fried Zuchini hits the spot. The chili on the chili cheese fries isn't as flavorful as some burger joints but still good and they use real shredded cheddar cheese on the fries. The staff operates with a friendly efficiency. The Brolly Hut has been around since 1970 and has unique architecture which I love to see still surviving. I think it's important to support these local landmarks and mom n pop shops. The Brolly Hut is worth the trip of you like one of a kind LA landmarks.

I used to frequent Seafood Port before with family and friends (at one point I even became the Yelp Duchess of the place) and so it was quite nostalgic to step back into this spot and see the change. The IHOP Is bright and clean and I could tell they did a lot of work to transform the old mom and pop Chinese restaurant to become this breakfast spot. I came early on Sunday and on Father's Day and I expected it to be quite busy but perhaps because I came a bit early (7:30ish), it wasn't too packed yet. The waiter gave the menus and took our orders right away but I did notice the food orders took a bit despite not having too many customers there. Overall though, the food was worth the small wait. The pancakes which IHOP is known for were soft, fluffy and delicious. I also enjoyed our omelette which we custom made with pork sausage and mushrooms. I also thought that the overall service was friendly and good. I enjoyed visiting this new IHOP and it's nice to have another one in Torrance. Though I do miss the old Seafood Port Chinese restaurant that was at this location, I am glad that another good spot replaced it.

Was here with a large group during midweek dinner hours. Manuela, the server was kind and took care of about a dozen or so of us. We were the only diners in and biz picked up eventually. Since I already had pancakes earlier in the day, didn't repeat. Pancakes for dinner were the choice for the majority of my friends. Some chose steak and others chose breakfast entrees with eggs, hash browns, or fries. My dinner was super inexpensive from the basic value menu- a BLT and fries for $7. I also opted for a side of fruit for $3.99. A-OK and the other half of my sandwich was fine at lunch the next day. Parking was plentiful and easy in the shared lot in the large strip mall. It's your typical IHOP/diner. My friends noted how bright the colors are on the ceiling and walls as it's a new IHOP. 3 stars!

The steak is or was, mediocre. This is a seafood restaurant and specialty. If you come here, I'd say don't do the surf and turf (steak) but opt for more seafood. The shrimp grilled in the shell is lackluster because the shrimp often sticks into the shell and dry out, harder to eat and less delicious, in my opinion. All of the fishes that are grilled are great and the best options.

After a long drive, we were hungry, as we hadn't stopped to eat on the way. Anyway, when we arrived, it was just after 10PM on a Friday night. Though the area was bustling, we were able to find easy street parking less than a block away. The restaurant was busy, but there were plenty of open tables. The place had a bit of the old diner type of vibe, but it was definitely more upscale and modern. We were greeted and seated right away. As we sat down, I saw some of the food being brought out and everything looked great. The menu was quite vast, so it took some time to decide. We decided to start out with the California Tots. They were a huge plate of crispy tots with cheese sauce, bacon and lots of other toppings. It was probably enough for us to share for dinner. However, I then had my mind set on the Tuna Manhattan, which was sort of a fancy tuna melt. The offered a regular tuna melt (off menu) if I preferred. The Tuna Manhattan was served on a bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a huge slice of avocado. It came with a side salad, fries, or soup. They also offered me some other sides I could substitute as well, such as onion rings or sweet potato fries. When I asked about the soup selection, they gave me four I could choose from. I ordered the French Onion. Anyway, the portions were generous and everything was delicious. It was also a great value for the amount and quality of food. The Kettle is open 24 hours. If you ever want late night (or anytime) eats in Manhattan Beach, I highly recommend The Kettle for a good solid meal.

So when we heard they were opening a new location in the Redondo Village, we were excited. Even more so to learn they'd be offering dinner and cocktails as well. The day of the reservation, the host manager called to confirm that we wanted to share the news at dessert, and if there were any other accommodations we needed, which was very sweet. When we arrived at our table, they had a card signed by staff congratulating us, and it was a night to remember. Great food, great service, and the warm hand towels after my dad demolished the baby back ribs were the cherry on top! Our group also ordered the chilean sea bass, salmon, and bistro plate. 10/10. One of our final meals as a family of two was Valentine's Day 2026. It was our first time being seated indoors, and the ambiance was dim and romantic. The meatloaf special was fantastic! Fast forward to June 2026, and we brought our 3-month-old son to his first NIck's meal (unfortunately, he could not partake) and to celebrate my husband's first Father's Day. On this reservation, I put in a request for outdoor seating that gave us enough room to park our stroller and car seat, and they were able to accommodate that. They were also understanding when me and my husband were running a few minutes past our reservation time due to fhe baby, and we appreciated the flexibility. Noise level was moderate, but definitely quieter outside. If you get nothing else from this review, just remember this: ORDER THE WARM BUTTER CAKE. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT. From the incredible waterfront views to the amazing food and outstanding service, it made for the perfect date night. We started with the clam chowder and crab cakes, which were both fantastic. For our entrées, we had the Linguini Del Mar and the Petite Filet (added a side of peppercorn sauce), and every single bite was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The highlight of the evening, though, was our server, Greg. He made us feel completely at home from the moment we sat down. His recommendations were spot on, he was attentive without ever being intrusive, and when my girlfriend got a little chilly on the patio, he even brought her a blanket without us having to ask. It's those thoughtful little touches that truly elevate an experience. As the sun began setting over the marina, Alison Brecht performed live acoustic music that created the most romantic atmosphere. She even took a couple requests, including mine and my girlfriend's favorite songs. Sitting outside by the fire table, enjoying an incredible meal while listening to live music and watching the boats in the harbor, felt like something out of a movie. It was the perfect backdrop for celebrating our anniversary. Sea Level exceeded every expectation we had. Between the outstanding food, exceptional service from Greg, beautiful waterfront views, and Alison Brecht's wonderful performance, this was one of the most memorable date nights we've had.
