Not so long ago I was getting gas at the Shell across the street when my tire pressure warning went off. After I topped off I got down and heard a loud hissing coming from my rear passenger tire. No bueno. 34-20PSI in about 3 minutes. Got into my car and like an angel from god I realized BAC was across the street. I called them and Al picked up and told me to pull in. Long story short Al, Dan and the entire crew took amazing care of me and patched my tire. They didn't even charge me. Wow. They even offered to drive me to my intended destination while I waited. My vehicle broke down near the shop on a Saturday, tried calling the phone number but it just rang and rang. Left the vehicle there. Few hours later Dan called me and said if I don't come and get the vehicle he will have it towed!! Never asked why it was parked there and did it need service. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If I could give them negative stars I would. After having my car in there twice, between September and October 2010, for the same problem, and having all kinds of things replaced, I was told they could not do anything else. I just had the stablizer bars replaced and that solved the problem. FRONT END ALLEIGNMENT WAS WAY OF ... HAD TO HAVE IT RE-DONE 500 MILES LATER. I was told the brakes were good and that I had another 20000 miles on them. Here it is February 2011, 500 miles later, and I just had to have 2 rotors replaced and brakes all the way around. Great Auto repair !!! I've had several of my vehicle's serviced there with a variety of different problems. They offer Great service and are very honest!! They use good quality parts. I really like the fact that they use dealer parts when ever possible. They fix things right the first time! Dan (the owner ) took time out of his busy day to call me back regarding a question I had. Was a customer for 8 years he was great. Now I will never go there again. I spent over 5,000 over the past few years and his prices just went up and up. Wanted over 800 for a gas filler neck. Do yourself a favor and do not go to Brookfield Autocare. I just paid 384.80 for a new radiator I didnt need and a radiator flush. When I asked to see my old radiator part that had supposedly been leaking, it was mysteriously gone already, and I had to wait atleast 10 mins for them to get it back?, yeah right. Then he quoted me $619 to just get a new flex pipe, which I passed on of course. He was the same with me as he was with John, another reviewer. We agreed on a quote over the phone for under 100 and when I get there he says it will be 384.80. Then when I said, I wanted to just take my car with no repairs done, after initially telling me they hadnt worked on it yet, he tells me, oh, well, we have to put your old leaky radiator back in then and take the new one out first that they supposedly put in already. So all of a sudden it changed from he had no work done on it yet to a whole new radiator was installed already. His story kept on changing so fast. When I got home, I checked under the hood, and it still looks all dirty and old, nothing new and shiny underneath. This guy is a criminal and he stole 384.80 from me today. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau today. I will write another review and let you know if he atleast makes a good will gesture and refunds me a small partial repayment that I requested. I think the reason he has some good reviews is , he gives a good deal to some, and makes it up by screwing over others if he thinks he can get away with it. In my case, he thought he could get away with it. It worked I guess, because he made it seem that if he takes out the supposed new radiator he supposedly put in, i wont have any coolant in there and it will over heat and i wont make it home. Yeah, stay far away, the owner is extremely manipulative. I wouldnt be surprised if some of his friends put fake good reviews up here. I had to have my car towed to this shop for repairs. I told THEM that I needed a new fuel pump but none the less they charged me $90 for a "diagnostic" to tell me that I needed a fuel pump. Right. I used to work for an auto parts store and know the prices both online and wholesale. The online price for the puel pump is about $130. Local wholesale is about $180. He charged me $289 knowing full-well he was way upcharging for the part - saying that he personally knows my old employer and that he talked to him and that I didn't work there anymore. Like I was trying to get a discount because of what? I was simply saying I know what he paid and what's fair. So when I complained about the high price, he said, "if you want to take you car somewhere else go ahead! Just pay me the $90 for the diagnostic and you can have your car towed somewhere else. You're lucky I'm not charging you for having to push your car into the shop!" Wow - good customer service. Needless to say, I was caught. $550 later my car was in fact fixed. Of course it stalled when I picked it up and I had to have one of their guys come and restart the car (air in the fuel lines). I understand making a profit on your parts and labor. But more than double my cost for the part? He said the repairs took two hours - but at $85/hour that's only $170. Add in the $289 and the tax and that's $504 - so why the extra $50? Didn't catch that one until after the fact. I stopped in four times to ask him personally but he was always out and/or unavailable.. This guy is a ripoff and I would recommend that you seriously consider taking your car somewhere else. read more

So grateful for these guys! I heard a weird noise in my tire and looked to discover a nail head sticking out. Since I wasn't losing air yet, I left the nail in and stopped in during morning rush hour. I explained the problem, they took a look, repaired the hole, and sent me on my way at NO CHARGE in 25 minutes. Guess I picked the right place to stop. Big fan. read more
