The frozen marg was strong and yummy. Fish and chips was fresh with properly crispy breading but flavor-wise nothing to write home about. Wish the coleslaw was either creamier or had more flavor (or both). My company loved the crab! The waiters were very attentive with emptying her discard bowl multiple times. Amazing view of the Statue of Liberty from the top floor and overall a great place to hang out with friends on a sunny day.

I have passed by Brooklyn Crab multiple times, and it is always super busy. Well, not so much in the winter! I am much more of a foodie person than vibes (though vibes are also important) but if you come at off peak and off season (i.e. middle of day in the winter), it is not so busy and you can take advantage of their great happy hour deals. We got a little of the happy hour oysters and some appetizers but also got a burger (not on happy hour list). The oysters were great - super fresh, not fishy. Really refreshing. The fries and the burger were also really good. And the shrimp was soo flavorful. I think if we were to come again, would skip the wings - they were ok, though the service was really nice and allowed us to try two flavors (gave us separate sauces) - maybe if we had done just one flavor and let them sauce them themselves it would have been better? Super close to IKEA and unbeatable sunset views. Will definitely come again if every around the area.

This established has the best views over the water. So stunning! We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy and the service reflected that. We ordered the calamari for the app and it was honestly the best dish of the night. It was seasoned well and fried with precious. Flavor in every bite. Definitely a fave on the menu. I ordered the crab cakes for my entree and they were alright. I wasn't pleased with the size or taste. I think they came close the a great flavor, but didn't quite hit the mark. The salad was just eh. The guava spritz was a tasty drink. I thought it would be a little sweeter because of the guava, but it wasn't.

Great spot for a summer hang with a group of friends! We came here for a friend's birthday, and he ordered a couple different platters for us. We got to try the crab roll, lobster roll, lobster grilled cheese, and popcorn shrimp. My favorite was surprisingly the shrimp! I love that they seasoned the batter - they were so easy to eat. We also tried the smashburger and the ahi tuna nachos. It says that the nachos are a starter, but the portion was so big! The wonton chips were a nice touch. They have cornhole in the front and some arcade games inside. This is definitely a family-friendly place. Only con is that it's so hard to get to, so I don't think I would come here that often. But the food was actually really good!

Perfect lunch for a sunny summer day! We opted to share some bites and ended up with deviled eggs, popcorn shrimp, and of course a snow crab roll! We liked the seasoning in the batter for the shrimp and the snow crab roll had a good amount of meat on it for the price. Food came out quickly which we also appreciated. It wasn't super busy when we came, but I can imagine it gets packed. Pro tip: sprinkle some old bay seasoning on the chips.

Updated review. Bartenders were extremely rude. Took over 20 minutes to get a drink cause they were flirting with girls. Garlic shrimp was a hit and so we're the deviled eggs. Tried the roll again and it was still a bit dry on the bottom and the mayo on the top really needs to be spread out on the bread. Once we were in the restaurant, service was nice! Seating was cool with the open air!

Visited afterwork and enjoyed the food and the service. The waitress was friendly and welcoming, and suggested the US Open drink. I can't remember the name now. The food was prepared good, but a little skimpy on the seasoning. Ambiance was like you are eating on the docks, which was a nice touch.

We rode our bikes to Red Hook and stopped in at Noon on a Saturday in late September. Typically, in the summer, the place is packed but now that the season is over, it was quiet. Service was great! Lots of staff. We ordered a lobster and fish and chips. Messy! But good lobster. Fish order was small and the French fries they came with were average. There are three floors of seating and back area. We sat at the second floor patio. Next time, we would sit on the top floor or the 2nd floor bar. Amazing view of the water!

We love coming to this spot! Generous crab roll for the price, the chowder is delish too. Service is friendly and quick as always. We like grabbing dinner here after work because the food is great and sitting right near the water is so relaxing.

Located near the water, Brooklyn Crab feels like the very definition of nautical summer vibes. It's a beach-themed, multi-story indoor and outdoor restaurant that makes you feel like you are no longer in NYC! I think it's a great space to relax outside on a warm summer day. You can play games like corn hole/mini-golf as well--truly boardwalk vibes! Snow Crab Roll (7.9/10): Definitely recommend their Crab Rolls! I loved the old bay mayo. There was a good amount of snow crab as well. Great butter-y and toasted potato bun. All the rolls are chilled and are served with chips (to which my friend and I doused in vinegar and Old Bay seasoning mix!) Classic Lobster Roll (7.3/10): Not bad but not as good as the Crab Rolls. Firstly, there wasn't all too much lobster meat (compared to the amount of bun). I also felt like the roll lacked flavor since the lobster meat was just served with a side of warm butter. I ended up dumping a bunch of Old Bay on mine for more seasoning. This is a great spot to escape the concrete jungle that is NYC. The food was nothing to write home about but I would definitely come back for the lively atmosphere!

Lobster roll was very good. Fresh, meaty. Popcorn shrimp was nicely fried as well. Good service, lots of water refills. Food came out quick and hot. Upstairs indoor was closed. But cool outdoor bar vibes with outdoor seating. Nice views + nice and breezy.

I kept seeing the front of Brooklyn Crab whenever I shopped at Food Bazaar and thought "that place looks fun" and finally decided to go on a Sunday afternoon. Sunday Happy hour (and any time they have Happy Hour) is so worth it. Don't let the ahi tuna nachos deceive you - that's a whole frickin meal. I also got fish and chips (no photo because I attacked it before remembering to take one) and that was so much food. We sat at the bar and our bartender was the sweetest human. I got an old fashioned which was so perfect. And the space is huge! There's mini golf! There's foosball! There's multiple floors and the decor is so fun. I can't wait to come back!

In my day drinking experience I couldn't ask for better. Great music. No food. Food messes up and an old man bar. Chips mixed nuts and maybe pickled eggs. Anything after that and it's a restaurant. Sunny's did not step over the restaurant line. Quiet and competent bar tending. Just perfect. Customers are what I would describe as people that would have never have been seen in a place like this 30 years ago. Furthermore they aren't additive. In the same period of time in either Chicago or Baltimore I would have made 5 life long friends for the day. Not one single word for the patrons. It's not a huge restaurant (so I would make a reservation): a few 2- and 4-seat high tops, maybe 6 or 7 tables, and a bar with about 10 seats. But the environment is warm and cozy, with low lighting and music loud enough to enjoy, soft enough to have conversations with your party, the bartender, or whoever else. The servers are all excellent. Very charming and friendly. They check in often, but not in an intrusive way. I've also seen the owner walking around, greeting customers, and talking with his staff. He's always around, and he's a friendly presence. There's such a great neighborhood vibe here - there are definitely some regulars here, and it helps create a homey atmosphere. The food here is outstanding. I have not had a bad dish here. The Caesar salad is actually made with several long stalks of romaine, so it stays crisp. The meatballs come with polenta around the plate, and it is fantastic. I've also had the hangover spaghetti (excellent) and the lasagna (amazing). Their calamari also has a few shrimp and (I think) some bay scallops, so that's a great addition. And their cocktails are outstanding - potent but flavorful. I don't get a chance to go to Red Hook much, but when I do, I definitely want to stop here. It's on the "main road" of Red Hook, and there are definitely some cute shops and coffee places around, and of course, there's Ikea not too far. This restaurant, though, deserves your business.
