I asked for my check and waited over 20 minutes. The person who I asked for my checked walked by like she had forgotten that I had even asked. When she mentioned oh I'll be right back with your check and the wings! I had to go to the bar to get it because the waiter never brought it over. Now I came here to watch the game. While it was playing on all the TVs, there was no sound. I am not sure if it had anything to do with the large party that was there, but I was disappointed that they did not have any sound playing for the game. The ambiance was your tyical bar setting. When it was Friendly Confines, they had a Chicago sports theme going for it. The Social House had a less sports theme, but it was cool nonetheless. I don't think that I ever had a meal at the Social House, but I ate at Friendly Confines quite often. We would have the French dip and I would often get their wings. I shall miss this and I am curious to see what will come to this location next.
