Do any of your employees that work there ever wash their hands or even care about handling the food in a safe manner? One girl I saw sneeze all over somebody's order this morning and didn't even try and cover her mouth. Then I watched her proceed to sit there and touch the bagels and touch everybody's orders that she was putting together and never once washed her hands. The place is usually never clean. Halftime when you order an egg sandwich by the time you go to eat it if it's takeout of course it's just soggy and awful. Definitely will not be back. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with this bagel place. When it's good, it's very good, but when it's bad, let's just say that it's not as good. The ice coffee is always good. They have a variety of flavored coffees and a few different creamers. I tried the pumpkin creamer today, as it's one of their seasonal flavors. I liked it, but I will probably stick with the hazelnut next time, as that is my favorite. I haven't had coffee in several months, so today was a real treat. I picked up a few types of bagels, vegetable cream cheese as well as some plain cream cheese. This morning everything was good. The veggie cream cheese was a little light on vegetables but still tasty. When I went to swipe my card, the cashier told me the "tip" was optional. I always tip, but today, I gave her a little extra because her honesty was a nice change of pace, not to mention she was delightful. After staying away for a while, I am glad I stopped in and gave them another chance. Both the bagels and cream cheese were quite good, and my iced coffee was incredible. sorry to say the first time I ever went in there day before yesterday 7:30 a.m. before work (I am a baby boomer still working full time). a customer was in there before me getting waited on but seemed to not be able to place his order to quickly because of some question or something. I waited a few minutes and another woman came out to get my order on the other register - but was told by the other cashier there was already an order in it that had to be cleared out - so she walked away. I waited for a few more minutes because traffic on Military is brutal at 7:30 am even to get to Boca. the other lady was still hassling around with the other customer's order......so I left. too bad...I went in there cause I saw customer reviews were good. but if you can't serve the only 2 customers in there at 7:30 a.m. with no one else in the shop.....there is an efficiency problem. read more

Very disappointed at this visit today. I usually go to the location in wellington but I was bringing some coffee and bagels to an office nearby. I ordered a Asiago toasted with scallion cream cheese and they definitely over toasted the bagel to the point it was almost burnt. The bagel itself was very thin almost more like a Bialy. I also ordered 2 hot coffees both with almond milk but the cashier told me that I make it myself which is fine. When I went to use the almond milk it was empty so I asked for more and was told they don't have any more. Well it would have been nice if I knew that before I was charged for it. I should have asked for my money back but I was in a rush so luckily the people I was ordering for were ok with the cream but some customers are lactose intolerant so that is really not good business. read more

We had an okay lunch here. Was craving a "bagel and"... and found them on Yelp as we were going to be in the area. You order at the counter and pay. They give you a number to put on the table and bring your food to you. You help yourself to beverages. They don't have rye or marble bagels -- the ones I like best. So I tried their "Black Russian" as it sounded interesting. It's actually a pumpernickel bagel. And I got nova spread on it. The bagel -- cut in half through the wrapped paper!! ) was supposed to be lightly toasted (not sure it was). There was a nice amount of cream cheese on it, but not much flavor of the salmon pieces at all. In fact, if I had not seen a few pieces of the nova, I'd have thought it was plain cream cheese. I got a cup of matzo ball soup to go with my bagel. It came served in a paper takeout container with a plastic spoon. The broth was good -- helped by a liberal amount of dill. But the matza ball was just so-so. They have a menu of deli sandwiches and wraps and breakfast "all day" choices, too. Although it's not that big a selection in addition to their bagels. Boca and Delray have lots of really good bagel places to try. I decided to try Brooklyn Water bagel on Federal Highway Boca Raton. I walked up to counter and was greeted by a young man. I ordered a garlic bagel with cream cheese onion and tomato. I also specified two eggs over medium. What came to my table was the bagel I ordered with VERT little garlic on the bagel and two round cooked eggs that looked like McDonald's eggs they put in their McMuffin. I went back to the cashier and said I ordered eggs over. His reply to me was that what I got was the only we serve them. He was non caring and did not offer a fix. I called the manager over and she graciously refunded me for the eggs. With so many bagel restaurant's I would not recommend Brooklyn Bagels because the bagels are nothing special and they need to train the help much better. read more

Iced coffee with ice cubes made out of coffee, make the experience that much nicer. I love their iced coffee: "Cubsta." The station where you can make the coffee was decent clean. I liked that they had a bunch of flavors. You can add milk, cream or flavored cream to your coffee. The employee at the cash register gives you the cup so you can make your drink to your liking. To accompany my drink, I preferred an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese. My food and drink was a to go order. By the time I got home the bagel was still warm and the coffee I was enjoying throughout until I got home. They have lunch food options as well on the menu. Atmosphere and such- They have a good amount of tables and seating at this location. It's a decent size with decent cleanliness standards. The employees are nice and give the order in time.
