I was so disappointed when my order came-it was basically a kids burger at an adult price. There was so much bread compared to the burger. Well first of all I would like to say that the food overall was very good as always with Brooks burgers. The reason why I was so upset was due to the fact that I had brought a party of 14 members with me for my aunts birthday. We waited in line for two hours which we were promised 45 minutes, then our food came before our drinks did. The overall atmosphere was very rushed and unorganized the manager tried very hard to make our time better but unfortunately the overall experience was very bad and I hope next time it will be better. I'm a regular customer and look forward to my next time being better hopefully. read more

It's a good burger. They cook them the way you want too which is real plus! Maybe not "The Counter" or Jimmy P's good but it's tasty for sure. We've dined here twice now in the last few months and we have enjoyed it. Service has been kind of a challenge on both occasions. The servers are friendly always but once the food is delivered it's been difficult to get them to come back. So if you need anything else forget about it! Maybe it's a staffing issue? We will give them a break for now as they're always super friendly. Good selection of other items on the menu too but hamburgers are what Brooks is known most for so if your in the mood then give 'em a try and see what you think? The ice cream and milk shakes are some of the best. The new menu adds a variety of choices. We stopped for happy hour. (4:00 to 6:30). We had the Bavarian pretzel with cheese. The pretzel was crisp and on the outside and chewy in the middle perfect. The cheese sauce was not runny or watery. We had the bone in chicken wings with the Cajun butter sauce. Loved it. The wings were crispy on the outside almost like fried chicken. The sauce was not too hot just enough to taste the flavor but not too much to ruin them. Our waitress, Michelle was great Friendly, helpful, and attentive. This place was highly recommended so we thought we would try it out. I ordered a Reuben burger. Upon biting into the sandwich, I was amazed that I couldn't identify what I was eating! It didn't taste like a burger, or corned beef or sauerkraut! My husband had a patty melt and thought the same thing. I decided to use a little salt which did bring out all the flavors, however, I have never eaten at a place where the food was indescribable. The service was great, restaurant clean. Food not worth the money. We also noticed the fries were textured.?. So we asked the server if they were battered and she replied no. In my book, when cutting potatoes, they are smooth. Gave this place a try thinking it was a gourmet burger joint. Definitely not. It's very average. Nothing I ordered arrived correctly, forgot lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle on all burgers. Burgers were ordered medium rare and came well done. Everything was cold. Fries were cold and soggy, burgers were barely room temp and again, way over cooked. Very disappointed. Side note/question; why does every local restaurant down here in SWFL seem to use the same Sysco battered fries? Is it just price? Any ole burger you have had on any ole day will be better than the burger you will get here. I fell in love with the flavors of a fresh burger with the addition of peanut butter and bacon in New Orleans, and had stayed on this recommendation possibly until I had one ( the goober ) from here today. I would never be able to guess there was a single item in my to go container that was home made. I ordered the burger 'medium ' and it was completely well done. Dried out, could barely swallow it. I ate it in the parking lot as soon as I got it (it was not sitting in the car for a half hour ) The burger had nothing on it other than peanut better or bacon-no homemade sauces, vegetables, lettuce or finessing of any kind. The meat itself did not taste of anything special. I have never been so underwhelmed by bacon. Ever. The peanut butter was so sticky, tasted just like the cheap junk out of a jar. No other sauce, nothing creative, attractive, composed or ' gourmet' on any level of the scale. The box had debris all over it and the place looked kinda dirty - especially the bathroom was trashed. Shocking for a newly opened place to already have the feeling of such disarray and lack of actual cooks in a kitchen. Maybe the owner knows how to cook a decent burger, but that skill is by no means getting passed down to the workers who are running this- Don't come in here thinking you are getting a 'good' burger, or you will leave in a bad mood - and don't believe the friends and family who are leaving good reviews. I hope this place realizes, there is no reason for it to keep running unless they learn how to do what they pretend to be doing. The drinks we ordered (bloody O Old Fashioned; Woody Wheel Margarita) were perfectly balanced and well priced for the pour:) Beer and wine menu is nicely done, not trite (hello, Kendall Jackson and josh cellars, I'm looking at you LoL) like many places. I couldn't believe how quick and friendly the service was at all times, even though the place was jamming-- I saw only one empty table in in area, and it wasn't empty for long. Idk if it's their training or their hiring process, but wow, every single staff member was crazy on point without being obtrusive. Everything we ordered was delicious, but we are so full we could pass out. The $12 rye shake is great, also perfectly balanced between alcohol and sweetness. My only complaint is I wish the "C is for Cookie" ice cream had a bit of a warning, because my 5 year old is like, REALLLLLLY blue right now LOL!! Thanks for a great dinner!!! Came to this place a few months ago and had a good meal. I had the prime rib. It was cooked as requested and I've been wanting to go back and get more. My wife had a veggie burger that she wasn't all that thrilled with. Tonight we took a chance and went back. We ordered a pretzel for an app. The thin parts were overcooked and the thick bits not quite cooked all the way. For dinner I ordered the Prime rib again, "on the well side of medium well" and an end cut if possible as they are usually cooked a little more. My wife ordered the fish and chips. When it arrived the fish was over cooked and oily (more so than you'd expect) and she felt the tartar sauce was off a bit. My prime rib was on the rare side of medium rare. I ate a bit and decided to take it home and finish cooking it. In parting I tried their shakes. I ordered a small strawberry shake that for $3 came in what you would expect to get a side of coleslaw in for .25 when ordering out. The $.10 senior coffees at McDs come in larger containers. All in we spent almost 100$. This location is overpriced for what you get. Their other locations that serve burgers and dogs have been great but this was a strike out. We will not likely be back. But the killer was the food, which was almost inedible. In fact, the patty melt was inedible. The bread was wet and soaked through with grease -- really gross. Visited Brooks Naples Logan location for a late Sunday lunch. 1st time Brooker. Was served by a speed demon waiter, and quickly realised this was not going to work. We came in for a relaxing Sunday a'noon lunch, not a NY minute dine & dash. Not sure what the urgency was, they weren't busy, nor preparing to close. For the 1st time ever, I asked for a different server. That worked out satisfactorily. Read so much 'bout Brooks Burgers, had to try one. Ordered a burger medium rare, burger came out rare and bloody. Server said 'that's what medium rare is', and to be fair, kindly offered to change it. After the to-doo with the speed-demon waiter, I kept it, and ate it! The burgers are in fact tasty, texture suggests hand formed, 70/30 meat ratio, etc. I suspect they're cooked on a soapstone grill which adds a nice crisp surface, along with superior taste and texture. Just a shame there's a disconnect between Service, and Product. Won't be rushing back... read more
