Excellent food. Great service. Got a hot dog and burger to try out. The fries are so good too. Don't forget to try the broome sauce! Overall great spot.

burgers, the focus here is burgers. the cooking and serving of burgers and dogs and things that go with those things... nice that the dining room is big and spread out and roomy but even more so that the food is cooked to order when it's ordered and shows up without too much fanfare or delay. standard offerings on the menu with a fair selection of bottled beers and beer-like beverages or fountain drinks if you'd rather. glad to find that more effort is put into delivering tasty food than coming up with clever names... Broome Burger is a generous slab of ground angus plus white american cheese, lettuces, tomatoes, onions, and Broome sauce. alas, contrary to my expectations the All American is not buried in layers of white and yellow cheese but instead it just subs pickles for the sauce, go figure :-/ make it a combo for just a little bit much but considering the sandwich you get you're still doing okay on the money-for-sustenance exchange... not jumbo skin-on fresh cuts but seasonal fries of substance.

i ordered a veggie sub- though the closest to that on the menu was a "mushroom sub". The nice lady who took my order was very accommodating in telling me that she had to enter it as a "mushroom sub" , hold the mushrooms. (It is not easy leading a Mostly vegetarian lifestyle). The sandwich was good . I was offered my choice of bread and I opted for a sub roll since there was no mention of pita bread. It included, per my request, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, green peppers, mayo- I ordered shredded cheese on the side. We were given plastic glasses for our drinks- There were fountain drinks and iced tea- sweet and unsweet. Hubs ordered the "All-American" burger and onion rings. He seemed to enjoy it as he ate every bite- unusual for him. The burger had lettuce. tomatoes, onions, and cheese on a toasted hamburger bun. The onion rings were pretty tasty although a tad over cooked. He had to ask that the burger be cooked "well-done" because there was a note on the counter that stated all burgers would be cooked "medium rare",unless otherwise requested. The restaurant staff were friendly yet professional and the place was very spacious and clean. Sanitation grade was 98 , posted in a very well-placed area- but not on the front door. Ladies' restroom was clean but only had 2 stalls. Restrooms were "Gender- specific "- a real plus for most of us ladies. So, overall, we were pleased with our meal- there was music from the 60's , 70's, 80's playing very softly in the background- appropriate for normal conversation and a good dining experience. We hope to visit again and pray that things remain as they are. No sense in "fixing things" that aren't broke!

For the price the portion is really small. The workers are very kind though so that's the reason they're aren't getting one star.

Just ate a hotdog at Broome Street. Terrible! Also had a coke and after I was done I opened the lid and found a hair in my cup!

Her club was huge and stuffed with cheese and meat and really good looking bacon. My chicken tenders were big and well cooked and the honey mustard sauce was excellent. Even with them closing in a few minutes we didn't feel rushed or in the way. They were attentive to us keeping our drinks filled and making sure I got a box to take my chicken home for later. Yes their chicken tenders were good enough to want to take home. Hope to visit again soon.

I've also stopped by for dinner a few times, and let me tell you, these folks don't miss. The food? Always fresh and delicious. The service? Fast, professional, and somehow still warm and personable. They've really built a fantastic team here, and at this point, I'm pretty sure I qualify for honorary family membership. Someone get me a name tag that says "MSB Cousin." If you're ever there for Brunch when the "Big Stack" is on the menu, please try it. You're going to love it, and the many other brunch and dinner items on the menu.

It is in downtown Monroe with street parking and some public parking lots. Our daughter said she has been there around 11:00am and got a spot on the street right in front. It is very eclectic with decor and items for sale. They have indoor seating, seating along entrance hall and outdoor seating. You order at one counter, which has a large menu boards above the counter. The young lady that took our order was very nice. You pay over at the bar area. It was not busy at the time we were there. I had the Salad Sandwich. You can get it with chicken salad, tuna salad or chickLESS salad. I had the chicken salad in a spinach wrap with lettuce and tomato. There are other bread options. The wrap was filled with the chicken salad. It was nicely seasoned and tasted really good. My husband and daughter both did the Pick Your Burger, a build your own. My husband had the burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions and pepper jack cheese. My daughter added bacon, lettuce, grilled onions and provolone cheese. They both said it was a great burger. We enjoyed our food. Definitely will come back.
