I had one of the best retail experiences I've had in a long time buying a vacuum here. I wish they sold every appliance or product that I ever need to purchase. Before I even stepped into the store, Liz spent about 10 minutes on the phone with me answering questions and helping me understand my options. When I arrived, the service only got better. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. There were zero pushy sales tactics and absolutely no pressure. Just honest advice and down to earth people who clearly know their products inside and out. They took the time to demonstrate multiple vacuums, explain the differences, and educate me so I could make the right decision. At no time did he get frustrated with my multiple questions or rush me. You can tell they truly care about helping customers rather than just making a sale. I originally went in hoping to repair my existing vacuum, but after seeing the demonstrations and learning more about the options, I decided to go with a new one. Best decision ever. Even though my Dyson was unrepairable, they gave me a trade in credit. I also had just missed a manufacturers promotion and Dave practically matched the promotion for me by throwing in an attachment and extra bags. I went home and vacuumed my entire house and was shocked at how much dirt it pulled out of the carpet. Honestly... it was a little horrifying in the best possible way. My old Dyson never came close to picking up that much embedded dirt. It's a pleasure to support a local, family-owned and operated business that treats customers with real respect and courtesy. I feel a bit naïve for spending $500 on a Dyson that barely comes with any sort of warranty and had 1/3 of the sucking power. My Sebo vacuum came with a 10 year FULL warranty, that covers EVERYTHING, including service and repair. Outstanding service, exceptional product knowledge, and an overall fantastic buying experience. I purchased a SEBO Felix from Arvada Vacuum a year ago. I just took it in for its free annual inspection. I can't speak highly enough about the folks at Arvada Vacuum. All of the superlatives listed in other reviews are true. Most important to me was how knowledgeable the staff is. Also, I appreciated how patient they are. When making important purchases, I usually have a lot of questions. Not once did Liz start tapping her foot or looking at her watch. She made sure I was comfortable with the purchase I was making. We purchased a Riccar vacuum 8 years ago. The vacuum sweeper works as well today as it need then. The reason is Arvada Vacuum provides excellent service on the maintenance and upkeep of the unit. We have 2 very hairy dogs and 2 cats. It gets a real workout. My favorite feature is it is a lifetime warranty on the belt. I have never had to do anything. Now this is the place to go for all your vacuum needs! I brought in my current vacuum for a little check up and was able to interact with Dave, whom was extremely knowledgeable with the brand and model. (Simplicity) He quickly explained to me that my wonderful Husband had installed a part near the rollers backwards which was why I was having Issues. He left us to browse some handheld machines while he fixed our error, as well as swapped out our belt, and threw in a new bag! (Bags are the way to go people, and if you don't know this, get educated at a place like this, by a guy named Dave!) After our beast was ready to go home and conquer our cat hair filled castle I wound up purchasing the handheld model, same brand as my pink upright, along with a full on demonstration from Dave of all the handheld can do. Did I mention you can vacuum baseboards and stairs while still standing upright with these awesome handhelds they make now?! I was sold! I stopped in to inquire about a replacement hose for my 4 year old Eureka vacuum. The lady in the store said parts are not made for that vacuum anymore. She "checked" on her computer and said both of her parts suppliers do not have the part. "You can use duct tape or we can sell you a new one." I went home and easily found a number of online suppliers. I ordered one from there. Shop seems more interested in selling than providing service to the customer. I won't be back. read more

Every year I take my vacuum in for free servicing and free filter replacements for life! The customer service is literally phenominal and takes their time to make sure you know everything you need to know. They have two locations and even offered to bring my vacuum to their north location where it'd be closer for me to pick it up. While I was there, a lady came to pick up her serviced vacuum and it wasn't yet ready so she offered to have someone drop it off at her house for her for the inconvenience. Great family business. I am a vacuum convert! As one of those darn millennials who is susceptible to targeted advertising, I thought we had the top of the line in our Dyson...NOT SO, folks. I took our Dyson cordless vac in for a repair and ended up borrowing an upright Riccar for 24 hours. I CAME BACK A CHANGED WOMAN. It was the difference between a Yaris and a Tesla. Nay, a unicycle and a Porche. The Riccar cleaned our carpet in a way I never knew possible. I was horrified at the little crunches and crackles I heard all over our apartment as I vacuumed (I had vaccumed just the day before with the Dyson)! When I brought it back the next day, the proof was in the pudding - the pudding being what the inside of the bag looked like, that is. So. Much. Dirt. Anyways, long story short we ended up getting a Riccar from Arvada Vacuum and could not be happier. David and Liz are a wealth of information without being pushy or sales-y in the slightest. They know their stuff! I was particularly sold on the fact that we can get free carpet shampooer rentals too, which is part of the plethora of benefits of buying from them. Brought it in today because it had a burnt odor when on. When I walked in the door, she said from across the room, "Oh it's got a clog." Fixed in 10 minutes, new belt and bag too, no fees. BEST family owned business I have ever encountered! I purchased a Riccar vacuum (made in the USA)last year that was quite expensive or so I thought! At just under $700, it ended up to be extremely worth it! I have 3 dogs right now (4 if my neighbor brings his) and need a good strong vacuum to handle the hair and dander. It comes with a lifetime free belt replacement no matter why it broke. I bring my vacuum back once or twice a year and they clean it and tune it up as needed. The other thing I like is that they have graciously stayed past closing time to accommodate my schedule on more than one occasion. How many businesses do you know that will do that? They also represent other brands of vacuums and have a wide variety based on your use/need. Its so nice to have a place I can come when my vacuum is not working properly. I'm done going through supposed "pet hair bagless windtunnel" vacuums every year. This is one I will have for life! read more

I just got a new vacuum from Arvada Vacuum when my Shark broke down and wasn't worth repairing. I never felt pressured to buy anything, but rather the salesman/repair man took a lot of time answering my questions and educating me about how everything worked. I appreciate that they carry high quality products not available in big box stores. I took one vacuum home to try it out and ended up not loving it for our purposes. No problem! I drove by Arvada Vacuum all the time and thought, how do they stay in business? Who would by a vacuum from a vacuum store? Certainly I could get one cheaper at a big box store. Well, I went shopping for a new vacuum after we replaced our carpets. I decided to stop in to Arvada Vacuum for the heck of it. I found out they are run by a family that truly cares about their customers. They take the time to help and treat you like you are their only customer. Liz was great to answer all my questions and educate me on the importance of a good vacuum in keeping the carpets clean to extend the life of my carpet. The vacuum I purchased was not cheap but I know I have a vacuum that I won't have to replace in a year like the one's the big box stores sell. I take the vacuum in for regular maintenance - free of charge - and I have never seen my carpets cleaner. I bought a Riccar vacuum and you can tell the difference after vacuuming as opposed to my previous, less expensive vacuum. The way I see it is if you invest in good carpet but buy a cheap vacuum, you will spend more in the long run as you will have to replace the carpet sooner because the vacuum did not clean well and you will have to replace the vacuum because it wears out along with the carpet. Do yourself a favor, next time you are in need of a vacuum, give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

These guys are great. I was weary of spending hundreds of dollars on a vacuum, but after testing a Riccor and talking with their staff, I was sold. They offer a few free tune ups to make sure the vacuum is working properly, which I appreciated. They even offer a few sessions with a carpet cleaner; all I have to so is purchase the soap from them. I recently took my vacuum (a miele) into Arvada Vacuum to find out was wrong with it. The power button was not turning on. The man who took my information said they could give me an estimate, but seemed annoyed when I asked about what could be wrong and how much it would possibly cost. So, I left waiting for a phone call. I didn't get a call back on the day he said the estimate would be ready, so I called them and was told I needed a brand new cord reel that would cost $180 plus $50 labor. I am not mechanical, so was forced to consult my boyfriend who is very mechanical. He spoke to them on the phone and concluded that all my vacuum REALLY needed was a new plug in. This piece cost $5 and my boyfriend fixed it. I don't understand why businesses try to cheat people out of their money instead of helping people to gain loyalty and trust from their customers. This is one business I will never return to. I will say that they were pretty friendly to me on the phone when I suggested that I might want to buy a new vacuum instead of fixing the old one. I actually can't afford a new vacuum and was stressed out about having one more thing go wrong that I can't afford to fix! Thanks for listening. read more
