I ordered two Gyro sandwiches for my boyfriend and I and they were delicious! Very filling and satisfied with our order. $12 and packed full of goodies. It's nestled in a very cute area that had a windmill and koi fish. I will be back! Excited to have tasty Mediterranean food close to home.

Food is great. Every time I'm in town I stop here to eat. Friendly service. Ambience quite laid back casual.

We came across this little restaurant on our way to the grocery shop and I must tell you this is such as a hidden gem! The first time we went we tried the gyro salad & their special "fuego plate". The chicken kebab was fire! No dry, chewy, flavorless chicken you get in most Mediterranean places in the area. Oh and the tzatziki sauce you just have to try it. 2nd the ambiance is chill, clean, modest, the kind of place you go to when your in a hurry but want to sit down for a bit. And lastly but not least the service is excellent, the girl at the counter is super friendly and accommodating. We are 100% coming back here!

My husband and I recently visited this restaurant for the first time. It's a newer business that opened about six months ago, and we're so glad we decided to try it. We ordered two Fuego plates, which included beef, chicken, and gyro, and all of the meats were cooked perfectly. The rice was flavorful and well cooked, and the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. The staff mentioned that the Fuego plate is their most popular dish at this location, and after trying it, we completely understand why. We also ordered the baba ghanoush with pita bread as an appetizer, and it was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. The portion sizes were very generous, which made the experience even better. The service was amazing from start to finish. The restaurant was clean, the ambiance was welcoming, and the food came out quickly without feeling rushed. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a comfortable dining experience. We will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant has plenty of parking and has indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is modest but very clean and they have a water station where you can help yourself to cold water. They also have to go containers at the ready for any yummy leftovers. I came here during lunch time and was surprised that there wasn't more people. I ordered the chicken kebab plate and it was very decently priced. When the food came out, I was blown away by the wonderful presentation. The quantity was impressive, and everything was delicious. The salad was fresh tasting and had a delicious dressing. The chicken was so tender and moist. And the rice was buttery. Hilariously enough, it was so good that I came back for dinner and ordered the Fuego plate. I didn't get a picture of that one but it was "fire" . I will most definitely be coming back!

Today I was craving a veggie-forward meal with extreme flavor, so Mediterranean became the immediate first option. I was sifting through reviews of Mediterranean restaurants in the area & decided to try this establishment. I WILL BE BACK. IT IS Rich in flavor from their dressings & sauces to chicken & veggies. Veggies are crispy and fresh. I ordered a salad and a PEETA chicken sandwich, both of which I would recommend to others. When I arrived, I was unsure of what to pick but the staff reassured and helped me narrow it down. As I sat waiting for my take-out order I noticed a group of men in the back playing cards, smiling, and laughing together, which I think made the place more welcoming and cozy. I can't wait to try more from their menu!

Fuego Grill is INSANELY delicious! I'm upset that I waited so long to try it, and even though I don't live in Escondido anymore, I would honestly make the trek from San Diego for it - THAT is how amazing it is! Perhaps the most tender and succulent chicken I've ever had in my life. In fact, ALL of the meats we tried were fantastic. Cutting steak and lamb with a butter knife? Unreal. And the charred tomatoes are just the cherry on top. I'll absolutely be back!

110% amazing and delicious. I highly recommend geting a fuego combo plate. If you sit outside there is this relaxing pond you can watch while you eat. They have canned sodas or water to drink.

This was the perfect place for a casual, relaxing, Sunday dinner. The service was friendly and fast. The food was hot when it was served. It was also bursting with flavor and delicious. We had a busy week and weekend and this dining experience was the perfect opportunity to relax and wind down.

It was alright. Ha ha it was fire! Cleaned my plate. Food tastes fresh, charred veggies were amazing, and the tzatziki was great. Will definitely come back to this spot monthly.

What country's cuisine is this? Gyros aside. Can't tell

Sort of generic Middle Eastern. As long as it's good, shouldn't really matter.

Didn't have time to go back and share with staff.

Why did I come here?…read more With a hunger for mediterranean and the worry that nearby Aria may be a bit too pricey for a quick meal, I brought my son out to The Pita Guys for some gyro or shawarma. What we found were limited options, higher than expected prices, less than helpful staff, and not the best of food. Being my first time, I had questions about the menu. The young pair behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were serving, as they kept looking at one another for guidance with little ability to give me much relevant info on anything other than what types or protein they had. Once I finally ordered, they started to taking and filling the orders of people behind me. It wasn't until a much older woman came in from the back before my own dinner started being prepared. Seriously, it was a pretty weird setup. The food was served Subway style, where they go down the line asking what you wanted added to your wrap. Shawarma meat is minced, staying warm in a tub, and scooped to order by a spoon resting in a bin of cloudy water. Not only did it feel a bit gross, but it also seemed that the bulk of the juice in the meat came from that watery spoon, as the shawarma I ate was very dry. When it came to my son's Shawarma Plate, the menu stated that it came with two sides. What they don't tell you is that the only choices on the 'sides' menu open to you are Hummus and a Salad. The much more desired sides of Falafel, Baba Ghanoush, or even kid friendly Fries, were not offered. Needless to say, my son ate his chicken and rice, but wouldn't touch his hummus. So, a Shawarma Plate and a Shawarma wrap ... dinner for two, not a ton of food, neither of us were all that impressed ... and it cost us over $40. Needless to say, with how everything tasted and what it took to get ... we won't be coming back. For the price it cost us, I think we'll stick with the far superior Aria up the street. Or, at the very least, try the Kebab Shop down the block.

Parking was easy, although the shopping center itself is very busy. The restaurant was clean, bright, and open with plenty of seating (inside and outside). The staff was friendly, and the line moved fairly quickly. The setup reminded me of a Mediterranean version of Chipotle where you move down the line and customize your bowl. My favorite part was definitely the sauces and dips. The Crazy Feta was so good that I would honestly buy a jar of it if I could. I also liked having black lentils as an option since that's not something I've seen anywhere else. Overall, I thought the flavors were good, but there were a few things that missed the mark for me. The falafel had great flavor, but the texture was very doughy and not my favorite. The lamb meatballs were also on the dry side. I also found myself wishing they offered gyro meat. I'm glad I tried it and can see why it's popular. While I'm not rushing back, I'd definitely give it another chance and try some different menu items next time.
