I needed a new roof and gutters after 26 years. No leaks just staying ahead of problems. Requested 5 quotes from the top rated GAF companies and those I had used in the past with good results. Brothers had the best presentation, strong professional reputation and, importantly to me, no complaints with Consumer Affairs. They also came in with the best pricing overall for a 50 year roof making the choice an easy one. We had a two day delay of the job start due to weather. When purchasing a home that's older and with good bones, you realize the good bones may need a replacement here or there. We discovered that our single paned, double hung, weighted windows were not living up to the heat retention and noise reduction that's conducive to a good night's sleep or low heating bill. On to find a contractor that would assist in remedying that problem. Online reviews of possible contractors led us to contact Brothers Aluminum for an estimate. We met Elias and he inspected our windows, siding and roof and provided us with an estimate of work to be done for each. He presented us with the costs, payment options and the time to complete each job. We agreed to do work on the windows and provided a down payment same day to start the process of ordering the materials needed. Brothers starts the work when all the materials have been acquired so the jobs can be completed in a timely manner. It took 2 days for the windows to be completed. Day 1 consisted of the removal of the old windows and installation of the new ones. Day 2 was the adding of flashing and making the windows look seamless with the current siding. I love the fact that the team was efficient and cleaned throughly after the work was completed. We will definitely recommend Brothers to anyone in need of a contractor. I met Teddy at a home show and asked about siding since I had seen the quality work completed by Brothers Aluminum next to my mother's house. I told him we were also considering upgrading our bathroom and was surprised when he said he can do that too. Teddy gave us a very good price to do both projects. A good price is one thing but their work is top shelf. They not only transformed the exterior with beautiful siding, but the craftsmanship of the bathroom crew was terrific. We worked with Ted Boultadakis initially to select our products and services and settle on a price and timeline. The team that worked on each of the projects was very professional and completed each project in a reasonable amount of time with high quality. Ted was available via phone or text almost 24x7 to answer any questions we had. Brother's aluminum (I worked with Teddy) replaced all my windows and siding in my current house a few years ago. They were wonderful, doing the job quickly and caring about details. They also didn't damage my new landscaping. Outcome was great and 3 years later everything still looks good and is great. Fast forward we are renovating an old house we just bought. Needed new roof for my house in Nassau County. Was referred to Brothers by a close friend. They quoted a fair price; showed up on time; worked hard and fast; and got the job done with minimal disruption to my house and my life - which is always my main goal. They worked in weather that was pretty cold and crappy and that was impressive too. I had to deduct one star however because the clean up was not great. Lots of nails and small pieces of roofing found around the property - and the company that provided the container damaged our driveway a little - so had to deduct one star because it's those little extra things that separate "good" from "great". I was told by a neighbor the Brothers Aluminum did good work. Unfortunately, I'll never know. They showed up on schedule for our initial consultation, to look at my home. I was told they'd contact me the following Wednesday with a quote for materials. Since things initially went so well, I thought the process was going to be a piece of cake. But they never called me. When I called them for an update, I was told I'd be getting a text.... I never got their text. Since calling their office didn't work, I sent a text and asked if they could refer me to a company they trusted since they were apparently too busy for my job. No reply that time either. What can I say that isnt't great? They did a phenomenal job on the complete gut and renovation of my mother's bathroom. The workers worked hard and consistent every day that they were here, and did a wonderful job of cleaning up. My mother's old bathroom had a tub, and we put in a walk in shower for her, being that she is now elderly and needs help. I cannot say how respectful they were of our home, and of my mother even when she sometimes got in their way and were so patient with her. The finished work is just beautiful, and I am so very happy with how it all ended out, not to mention the quick response time, patience and understanding of all involved. While I initially balked at what it may cost me, I cannot say how pleased I am and to say that it is superior quality work, and if I can do another bathroom or kitchen reno in the future I would only use this company. We decided to work with Brothers Aluminum to redo our kitchen, flooring & bathroom in our new house. My parents have used them before on siding & roofing and couldn't have given more of a rave review about their experience. The process was so easy & painless--Elias & George helped us every step of the way and were always there to guide us and give great advice. What can I say.....Exceptional......while I have used Brothers before to side my house, I called upon their expertise for a total roof replacement that was required.....my exceptional experience began with meeting again with Teddy.......a finer and more honest contractor and gentleman I have never met......in this day and age when men of their word are a rare exception, Teddy exemplified honesty and being a man of his word.....what was expected to have been a rather easy roof replacement unexpectedly turned into a job requiring the replacement of all the plywood of the old roof and the placement of approximately a dozen rafters to straighten a sagging roof......while Teddy made the economic impact of such a surprise most palatable, his workers headed by the foreman Orlando , a master carpenter and roofer, made the work process seamless along with the assistance of a second foreman who assisted , Stelios.......the entire job was masterfully completed in a full day and 1/4.....not only was the work masterful but the cleanup impeccable......just waiting for the excellent job done to be literally capped off by the gutter guy who is expected shortly........the timing of all the work including delivery and take away of the first dumpster and the delivery of a second dumper, along with the expected arrival of the gutter guy is like a well choreographed exercise supervised by Teddy himself........a most highly recommended contractor......... read more

We got our roof redone in January 2021, thinking we're going with a good company based on some of the reviews, but my husband and I deeply regret our decision. The pricing seem fair, the representative Ian was really nice, but the job done by the company was not good. A few months after getting our roof done by Brothers Aluminum, we realized the roof was still leaking through where the shingles and the exhaust vent pipe met. We called and spoke with Tammy and Maria to put in service requests. For the first service request, they came by and put down flashing cement and told us that should fix the problem and that's when we learned a pipe collar was never installed over the vent pipe by Brothers Aluminum back in January because there wasn't "enough space" between the pipe and the building. That was horrible learning this at this point in time as we should have been told this before all the shingles were laid down. The roof still continued to leak so we put in a second service request and they laid down more flashing cement and then we were told that it should be fixed this time. When the guy came by for the third service request, he said if the problem is still not fixed, he'll have to remove some shingles and get it fixed properly. By the six service request, they have not fixed the issue nor remove the shingles and fix it properly like they said they would. We were exhausted by the issue at hand and called other companies for free quotes to investigate the issue. We were told by another company that flashing cement does not fix the issue and the issue is that a boot collar needs to be installed and the shingles has to be removed in order to do so. So I had to call Brothers Aluminum again in January 2022 and when we called multiple times to follow up, they told us we're in the queue and basically told us to stop calling, as they will call us when it's our turn. 4 months later it's May 2022, and they still haven't called us back and my roof is still leaking. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It was a $8000 plus job and my roof is still leaking. It's been a nightmare dealing with Brother Aluminum. read more

I gave Brothers jobs on my house when we first bought the house. The job included replacing the roof and siding all around the entire house. I also had them repair the sun room. In total the jobs totaled $22,000. I recently had the chimney rebuilt and there is a space between the siding and the chimney. I asked them for an estimate to do that small job. At first they told me that they didn't do the siding. We got over that and Edgar came and acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. He then told me Alex would call me. I met with Kris back in July to discuss my siding job. He was very nice and came well prepared. He taught me a lot about siding and he gave me a very nice folder, chock full of good info. He gave me a price which I told him that I had a lower price quoted from someone else and he told me that they would match it. After considering another competitor, I called Kris and told him that I would like a quote for the agreed upon deal. He said he would send it. His partner Teddy then called me to see if I was interested without knowing that Kris had already spoken to me. Teddy stated that he would speak to Kris about getting me the quote. After repeated emails and calls with no response I finally put up the white flag. Very, very, very unprofessional. At least let me know that you cannot do the job and that you were stupid enough to agree to a lower price. Don't trust these people. Very bad people. read more

If your in the market for siding I would recommend brothers. The siding came out nice and I am happy with it. But if you need any cement work then you are better off going elsewhere The company they subcontract the work to is sloppy and careless. I called them back to fix the damage to my fence and the globes of cement stain, and I was given an attitude by the cement guys when clearly they were in the wrong. In the end they were able to fix the fence but that still didn't change the concrete. There is a big gap in between the concrete and some of it is already coming apart. The material they used in between the concrete was poorly placed and is already deteriorating . After the third time they came back it was to late to fixed. The main reason I hired brothers was to get the entire job done by one company. I was told by the owner that they do all the work them self's. I gave them a chance due to there reviews online, but I knew this was going to happen when you get subcontractors. Sub par work . read more

My experience began in June 2021 . I called Brother's for an estimate on roofing and Siding. I had the great pleasure of working with Billy. He was attentive but not pushy. After receiving many other estimates, Brother's was more than fair in price and warranty.The materials took a while to come in, but no fault of Brothers. Once the materials were in there was no delay of the start of the job. Roofing done in one day with a large crew . Clean up was good . Then a few weeks later the siding arrived. The price was very fair and we decided to go with them. I have been in the contracting business for 20 plus years and always stood by my word.
