If you love milky queso and bad salsa this is your spot. Least impressive Mexican spot I've tried in the area

Fourteen Mile Tap House has revamped the inside of the building and has made it a lot more open with some extra TVs. They extended the inside bar and expanded the seating area. They've got a pretty solid selection of beers, but I would have liked to see more sours and ciders, personally. They don't have a huge selection of bottled/canned beers, but between the draft selection, cans/bottles, domestics, wines, and even some frozen drinks, you're sure to find something you'll like! The pina colada was pretty decent. It is pre mixed, so it's not a hand crafted cocktail, but I was not mad at it one bit. The food menu wasn't too bad, but I think it could use some improving. The pretzels are not made in house and leave a lot to be desired. We got the Brie and mango chutney, which was good, but we definitely expected the Brie to be baked or broiled or warmed in some capacity, but it wasn't. The menu doesn't suggest it will be warm, we just assumed it would be. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was a little difficult to spread on thin crackers, so it got really messy. Nachos my friends got looked fine, but not overly impressive by any means. It's definitely bar food, not a fancy restaurant. Overall, we had a good experience. The prices were fair, the service was great, the establishment was clean, and there is a good variety of drinks to cater to damn near everyone. I will most certainly return to Fourteen Mile Tap House with some hope of the quality of the food improving.

However, I decided to give Craft and Draft another shot, and I'm definitely glad that I did. Unbeknownst to me, they were holding "trivia night" on the night that I went, which drew a pretty large and lively crowd. While I think that the inside volume was turned up a little too high, it did serve to loosen everybody up, as I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the other patrons, who were all very kind and sociable. I also got to check out the back patio for the first time, which was fun, but not quite as notable as some of the other taproom patios that I've been to. In addition, despite the fact that they had heaters on the patio, they didn't seem to be emanating much heat, as it remained pretty cold outside. What I did like was the fact that there was a pizza truck outside, which was making wood-fired pizzas on the spot, and which looked great! (I didn't have one myself, but everybody I asked told me that they tasted great as well.) As for the beers... they were pretty solid! On draft, I got one of the Burial IPAs, which was 8% ACV, and tasted pretty good as well! My friend said that the beer that they got out of the refrigerator was good as well, and that they had a lot of beers that they had never seen or heard of before. As for me, I noticed that they had one canned beer that was 9.5% ACV, which I had never seen before either! The two (2) bartenders working that night were really cool, knew their beers, and definitely made me and my friend feel welcomed. All-in-all, Craft and Draft was a pretty fun taproom, which *might* be a little better in the warmer months versus the cooler ones. Despite this, I'd still recommend stopping by to grab some unique brews, and enjoy the lively but not overly hectic atmosphere.

This was my first time experiencing this venue, and I honestly was pleasantly surprised. From being greeted at the door and shown to our table, ordering our food to even having our waitresses snap a few photo's to document our visit, I was very impressed with the staff's attentiveness and willing to offer suggestions, and see our food was prepared promptly, and to our tastes. We chose to visit during lunch, so I ordered the Philly Cheese steak sandwich which came with fries, and it was very tasty. My friend ordered the fish & chips, which he said was also very delicious, his wife ordered shrimp with hushpuppy's, and I tried one, that cinnamon butter sauce pairs very with with the hush puppy's. The atmosphere for a lunch crowd was very chill, some soft music playing in the background, but not overpowering to limit conversation, the staff was friendly, and the food was tasty, with decent portions, and more importantly - Reasonably Priced. I can't wait to return again soon, and bring some friends along to share a new spot to enjoy some terrific food at Liberty On The Lake.

It felt like a great place for a celebration without being overly formal. We started with a few appetizers that were great for sharing. The hushpuppies came out hot and crispy and paired really well with the dipping sauces. The coconut shrimp was another highlight -- perfectly fried with a nice crunchy coating and a sweet dipping sauce that added a lot of flavor. For the main meal, the fish and fries were classic comfort food done well. The fish was golden and flaky with a light batter that wasn't too heavy, and the fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Everything came out fresh and hot, which made the meal even better. The coleslaw on the side was creamy and balanced the fried seafood nicely. Drinks were also a fun part of the celebration. The cocktail was refreshing and light, perfect for sipping while enjoying the lake view. Sitting by the water with a drink in hand really added to the birthday vibe and made the whole experience feel a little more special. Overall, Liberty on the Lake was a great choice for a birthday outing. Good food, generous portions, beautiful lake views, and a relaxed environment that made it easy to celebrate and enjoy time together. Definitely a nice spot for a casual celebration or a meal with family by the water.

They were all cracked open when we got our bucket, so they were all dry and chewy. Just awful. Steamed oysters are not supposed to let air in like that while they're steaming. The buffalo chicken flatbread was the best tasting thing I've had on this menu. It was full of flavor! The tacos I had one night were also disappointing. They were average at best and made me realize I could've saved money by making my own. One time I had the infamous dill dip that I've grown to love so much over the years, but I refuse to get it again because it was not good. It did not taste the same as it used to. Too much dill & the white dip itself was not right either. It just tasted cheap. I still loved the atmosphere here very much! It will always have that going for it and the service is still good too. The new manager is a very nice man who has a great personality and eclectic style. I just really hope the kitchen can step up their game.
