There's free parking in the parking lot outside of the are, which takes the pressure off knowing parking is not an issue. I ordered the Sonoma salad, which was a lightly dress salad with fresh tomatoes, feta, braised, onions, and topped with a fresh order seasoned, juicy salmon fillet. The food is just as great, if not even better, than their SSF location. We definitely needed another breakfast option in the area. If you're visiting or live in the area, definitely check them out. Was excited to see a new spot open up near my home. And anxious to try it out. Took me a few weeks to finally make my way here but boy was it worth the wait! It's now my go to spot Sunday's after church! The food here is amazing! My favorite is the chicken and waffles but I also really enjoy the hangover, the tuna melt, the Swedish pancakes and oh yea! The fries Friendly service, great location with plenty of parking, and most importantly, consistency! Every time I come the food is always hot and delicious no matter what I order. You stand in line to order and then take your number to your table - minimal service in the traditional sense but I was very impressed by the service. The cashier took extra care to figure out the best (and least expensive way to take my order (yes it was complicated.) He double checked to confirm there wasn't an inside table available even after I conceded that an outside table would be ok. Last and the most impressive, when the bus boy came to deliver the condiments to the table and it wobbled a bit, rather than continue on his business he actually stopped and worked on the table a bit, stabilizing it. I've waited 84 years for this Brothers Cafe location in Millbrae to finally open. I work nearby and I pass by this spot while it was still in the works, hoping it would open soon because I've always been a big fan of the Grand Ave location in South San Francisco. The ambiance is basically the same, but in a slightly smaller space. Parking is easy since there is a big parking lot. There's still some outdoor seating options and their menu is the same. The staff are all extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered the Deep Sea Sandwich ($19.95) which is honestly one of my favorite salmon sandwiches ever. The grilled salmon was thick and juicy. The arugula and red onions are great toppings. What makes the sandwich even better is the dijon-caper aioli that they use. The ciabatta bread is also great for the sandwich with how perfectly toasted it is. It provides that little bit of crunch with the sandwich. I would highly recommend this or any of their sandwiches. Not to mention their crispy and properly seasoned fries and a side salad. I was stuffed after my meal. They are always generous with the portions.
